Holiday Inn Express & Suites Rancho Mirage - Palm Spgs Area by IHG

Basic hotel - newer yet un room plumbing and refrig were not working properly - its great for a med level hotel.

Great room & staff assistance

Room and staff were great. Breakfast was awesome....only problem we had was the pool and spa were Closed for renovation. No advance of closure from Hotels.com

Paid over $500 a night on this room because it was festival season and it was not worth it. I reserved a Standard Room on Hotels.com and even special requested a room not on the 1st floor, but was still given an Accessible Room that was near the elevators and front lobby. The room had a bad smell (like dirty, old clothes coming from the closet), the floor was dirty, and bathroom was not clean. I didn't book a run of the house, so I felt that it was unfair to price and advertise their rooms at "standard" for $500 a night when it was run of the house (determined at check-in). I wouldn't have stayed here if I had known that my standard room was not guaranteed and not as advertised. The staff was not helpful in assisting a room change. Not a single staff member say good morning except for the one lady who worked at the front desk in the morning.
