OK hotel. Good items: Bathrobe and umbrella available in the room. To be improved: No coffee machine in room, very small gym, breakfast available only after 7.00 am, not sufficient for business travelers who have jetlag. Front desk OK, but not super friendly. Not very good value for money

Great hotel, friendly staff and very clean. Our room upon check-in had a wet carpet (I believe from shampooing)and a large blower plugged in. The staff had us moved in within to a new room with a great view of the harbor. A couple of amenities I did not realize ahead of time that are available at the hotel. Included in the $30 hotel amenities fee is use of bicycles, and kayaks. Cocktail hour from 5-6 p.m. for a complimentary glass of wine. Coffee from 6-10 a.m. complimentary. Cold water available in the outdoor courtyard. One suggestion is a sensor in the underground parking from parking to hotel elevator to allow ease with luggage

The staff was friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. I attended the daily Mixology class at 5 PM (included in the amenity fee), which was a fun experience. The bartender—who was very nice, though I didn’t catch his name—prepared a cocktail and shared some interesting tips on mixing drinks. Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Super dog friendly! There’s a spot right outside to the left of the hotel to walk the dog/go for potty breaks. There were many dogs staying here and the staff was very friendly. They even have free toys for the dogs! Parking garage is also attached and accessible by elevator - very convenient.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The check in and self parking was pretty easy. My only couple of negatives would be that I booked a room with a view of the river, and while technically we got the view, it was a little lackluster as we were looking at the “street view” more than the river view. Also traveling to and from the parking garage from the hotel was a little awkward, since you have to take two separate elevators. Especially when going to check out, we wanted to preload the car an hour before we checked out but didn’t want to bring the car all the way around, we ended up taking a couple of trips back and forth. Finally the room has a mini fridge but does not have a microwave in the room so just a little inconvenient if you wanted to warm up your food. Other than those small little things, the stay was great and everyone was friendly and professional!

We had a pleasant stay at the Kimpton Marlowe. Everybody on staff was super friendly and helpful, even to the kids! (Thanks for the bubbles!) Nice activities offered to guests like kayaking, bikes, wine tasting. Great parking shared with the mall next door, which had dining options if you didn't feel like walking too far. Not that far of a walk to Boston. Will definitely stay again!

The hotel was reasonably clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The hallway odors were mildly unpleasant, the room had noticeable rust stains and the “resort fee” was excessive considering the very limited amenities beyond standard.

Booked 1-BR King Suite. Recently remodeled, and while the design was nice, the implementation was not great. In spite of rooms being very spacious, there was no full dresser for clothing (fine for 2 nights, not okay for longer). It's a pet-friendly hotel, and it really felt like space was left for dogs, not people. Renovation work itself wasn't great and things could've been cleaner. Jacuzzi tub spit out gross stuff, and when we turned it on water sprayed all over (our fault). When I wiped up the floor, my paper towels turned black (i.e., floor not clean). There was also a lot of mold inside the shower along the glass wall that doesn't open. Overall, the room was comfortable. There was a lot of space & the king bed/pillows were great. Sofa sleeper mattress was awful. We booked the room for 3 people but had towels for 2 and no sofa sleeper bedding. Staff was extremely accommodating and friendly and brought what we needed quickly. They provided us with two comforters for the sofa sleeper, one for under the sheets for comfort and one for covering. This hotel is kind of out of the way, and for the price, I wish there would've been a 24-hour self-service snack area. Snacks / beverages were limited. Overall, it was good. But for the money, I would not go back.

The room we had was small but comfortable, and the bathroom was adequate with good water pressure in the shower. And that's what you're there for: a place to sleep and clean up. However, if you are looking for additional amenities, you won't find many. The restaurant is pedestrian, and placing a "mini-bar" across from check-in, rather than in the room, seems a bit strange, especially if you need to ask the desk clerk to open it while there are people waiting to check in.

Was there for one night and arrived a little early but they were able to get me a room. Shower was great and the bed was comfortable. Room had all the amenities I needed. Most importantly it was quiet when I was trying to sleep. Since I wasn’t there long I cannot speak to other hotel amenities. I don’t work out but I rode the elevator with people that do and they enjoyed the workout room.

The hotel was nice as well as the staff. My only complaint is that the walls are very thin. It sounded like the people staying in the room next to us were in the room with us. My son and I got to hear them argue for hours the first night and then be woken up the following morning with them arguing again.

The staff was not trained well they didn’t know anything about the property. No valet on multiple occasions so we waited a long time for the car. We stayed 7 days and they didn’t clean our room 2 times. Even when requested. I would not stay here again or recommend to anyone. Kimpton should be embarrassed to put there name on this property. Also room service is always closed and the restaurant is always a 30 minute wait with bad service.

Check in was was smooth. Was able to leave bags at desk before check in and grab a bite to eat. Staff called to let ua know when our room was ready. Room was clean. We had an issue with an electrical outlet in the bathroom as we were getting ready for an event. We let the front desk know on the way out and they offered to fix it right then. Since we were on the way out we said no. First thing in the morning maintenance came up to the room to take care of it. Was nice not haveing to call and remind them. Great service! Breakfast was good at the hotel restaurant. Complimentary glass of wine was a nice surprise. Conveinant location.

This was the most magical stay I’ve ever had. I went at Christmas time and they decorated the hotel so beautifully. Had a cute little cocoa stand and Christmas themed lounge area. Felt so cozy! They welcome pets with open arms. Staff was welcoming and kind. And the view of Boston from our room was breathtaking. They are on my list of hotels that I must return to again. Lovely experience. 1000/10

I made a specific reservation for a specific room due being my wedding day and as soon as we arrived they told us the room we reserved was not available and apparently a “VIP” was coming, and they couldn’t accommodate and respect my reservation no matter what. They only offered to decrease the rate and give us a smaller room or get a $100 dlls card for the restaurant. Come on!!!! It was my wedding day. If you truly care about your reservation, please, do not book in here! You never know if they will be respecting or not your reservation doesn’t matter if you already paid for it.

Fantastic hotel! Great front desk ppl (big thanks to Matthew:) Super pet friendly and great amenities. Loved our stay. The checkout was a bit raucous unfortunately as there was a discrepancy with what our Expedia account was displaying and they could not explain this. Still not able to get the hotel's accounting department to get back to me.

I love Kimpton hotels. Great atmosphere, locations and very reasonable prices. The hotel Marlow is no exception. It's not in immediate downtown, but very close to Boston, Cambridge, the Museum of Science, North Station and the Boston Garden. We would absolutely stay there again.

Love being so close to the mall and activities as well as food. This hotel was half the price of ones that were super close to td garden, it was a nice quick walk with minimal street crossing to and from the garden. Would definitely stay here again.

What a terrific hotel. Pretty. Modern. Coveniences. Adorable pop up Christmas bar (but the drinks were overpriced, small and not good). They thought of everything. And everything smelled so good. The sheets. The towels. The bathroom products. We loved it.

Positives: Some very nice, accommodating staff; very good restaurant for breakfast. Kathryn, our server was responsive and pleasant. Coffee set-up in the morning, complementary wine in the afternoon (even tho we were not there). Negatives: Some staff were somewhat "uppity" during check-in. When we were waiting for a table for breakfast, no-one bothered to acknowledge us or to let us know that someone would be with us. Many add'l charges added to our bill. I booked on Expedia, and it said "breakfast included" which was not the case.

This hotel was very nice and clean. They offered free coffee, tea, wine, were dog friendly, had super comfy beds and a bonus $20 to use in the hotel restaurant. The downside is that while the restaurant looks good on the outside, prices are high and the food is not so great. Beware of a $25 dollar daily fee which I had not idea about. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay.

Our stay was wonderful. The customer service was exceptional from the front desk, restaurant and maid service. My husband and I will definitely stay at Kimpton Marlowe Hotel in Cambridge, MA again. The salmon at Bambara was the best I have ever had. Thank you.

Nice/clean hotel with friendly staff. The hotel is connected to the shopping mall so it is very convenient. Bambara restaurant in the hotel has good food. They have fresh water with fruit (strawberries or lemons) in the lobby. There is also complimentary wine hour too.
