The Querque Hotel

The room was so big and spacious! The beds were probably the most comfortable ones we slept in on this road trip of New Mexico! We LOVED the indoor pool, sauna and hot tub. The treadmills weren’t working but the stair master was a great alternative and the TV in there helped me get through my workout. I loved The entire property. It’s connect with Crowne Plaza and we get the benefits of using their outdoor pool and their workout room which I never ventured to but loved the price we paid for all they had to offer. The breakfast was grab and go style as well and their muffins were good!

Large, nice facility- two pools, decent gym. Lots of counter space in bathroom! Only problem was I got brown water when I tried to draw a bath (room 346). No brown with cold water. I was told that they needed to flush out the hot water pipes.

Excellent staff, large rooms, 2 pools, work out room and on site security. Minutes away from downtown or anywhere you need to go.

Last minute stay…single mom with 9 year old son traveling so my priority is always safety! They have a well lit and monitored parking lot and friendly staff.

The Querque is a very convenient hotel it is CB located directly off the freeway north south east and west. The hotel is no frills- easy check in/ easy check out. Front desk is friendly. Property has a sauna.

The maps shows two heated pools. We checked the enclosed pool and it was freezing. Didn’t bother to check the outside pool. Other than that it’s conveniently located and the parking area is well maintained.

Reasonably priced with good amenities, pool, hot and fitness center with dumb bells. Breakfast was a little light but it got me going.

We had a wonderful stay, enjoyed the pool. Unfortunately the jacuzzi/hottub was not operating. Comfortable and clean rooms. A better breakfast offering would have been nice. Coffee was delicious, thanks for the good creamer.

The front desk staff after check-in were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the fitness center, sauna, and pool. My room was quiet, clean, and spacious.

The hotel seems to share the property with the Crown Plaza next door and it was very secure. The bed was relatively comfortable as were the pillows. We could easily control the room temperature. The indoor pool was great and the first night, the hot tub was perfect. The last night, the hot tub was really murky and didn't look appealing so we didn't use it. Issues were inconsistent times for room cleanings, water was shut off completely for one whole day and a manager just came into our room in the afternoon when we happened to be there. The cleaning maids were excellent! They did a very thorough job. Bonus for the breakfast that was provided and the times they had it available. Overall, we liked the place and would stay there again.

Appears that this is not a very good part of town. I was told by a securiy guard they have alot of drug dealings in this area. Also I could smell some kind of bug spray. (ROACHES) I did notice a dead roach as I walked in the door by the stairs.They tried to cover the smell with some kind of purfume or simmilar. And the smell was overwhelming. Had to open sliding door to keep from feeling sick. My wife would have not been able to tolerate the smell had she been with me.

Easy off, easy on while traveling through. Safe, well-lit parking. Clean room. Friendly staff.

The room was not clean. There was someone elses hair elastic and a used flosser on the floor. I had to lay down towels to walk from bathroom to bed without shoes. The bedsheets were ripped. The TV didn't get most channels. When I called the front desk I was 1. Hung up on and 2. placed on a long hold until I just gave up because it was late

We've stayed a Querque over a dozen times, this stay was unsatisfactory. Usually the rooms are very clean. We encountered a few surprising things. We found live cockroaches in our restroom, our bathtub had a very slow drain, and there was ants coming in from a tiny hole in the wall where the carpet meets the wall. Our food was affected by this.

The people were nice but the room was wasn’t clean. No restaurants near by. Room need some updates and renovations and the building smelled bad.

Hair all over the bathroom floor and counters.

While the hotel was nice, the arrangement of the room had the air conditioner far away. Additionally, the system would not allow us to lower the temperature so it was quite stuffy at night and made sleep difficult.

Let's start with the positives: this was originally built as a Fairfield Inn property, so the plan, layout and design features are quite nice. Our room was spacious and clean with a good bed. There's a pool (maybe two pools?), a laundry room and several other nice touches which lower-priced properties usually lack. The location is as good as any place in Albuquerque is and the price here is definitely the lowest in town for a similarly-built hotel. Now the negatives: this property needs so much work. It has become shabby. Our A/C didn't even begin to do the job. (To clarify, it would begin by throwing out cold air, but after a few minutes, it would just pour tepid air into the room. We could trick it into cooling again by turning the temperature control down for a couple of minutes and then back up again. But of course, we couldn't man the station while we slept. The result was an uncomfortably warm room all night with restless sleep.) The electrical outlets on the desk lamp connected with my chargers part of the time, but not all the time. The WiFi was so bad that I never was able to get into it. My husband succeeded in getting his phone to connect after many tries, but the connection kept cutting out. Both of us finally just gave up trying to use the WiFi. None of these flaws is life-threatening, but they do explain the low price. Just know that going in.

My stay here was fine. TV didn't work, moved me to another room, still didn't work. Bed was ok, the room was clean. Affordable.

It was reasonably clean in the room but the corridors had seen better days. There's basically no sound proofing so you can hear your neighbors in either side. The bathroom lacked an exhaust vent and the fire sprinkler (and I guess sensor) were right next to it. After my boyfriend and I had both showered, the humidity set off the fire alarm, which then went off for the next fifteen minutes even after the manager was alerted. It was deafening and I feel sorry for anyone who had been trying to sleep in. Not a terrible place to stay for the price, but I wouldn't necessarily return.

The room was large, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom sink, tub/shower, toilet and faucets looked updated. The sink cabinet’s paint was chipped and corner of the molding was damaged. The shower pressure was excellent. The furniture in the room looked dated and some pieces showed a lot of chips and wear. But it was clean. Big window looking over the pool courtyard. Big parking lot but not secured.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. It was quiet. I appreciate that there is security on site. Would definitely stay here again.

I would have given it a higher rating but the WiFi was so terrible. I did an internet speed test while I was there and both my phone and laptop were at a 3.5 mbpm of download speed. I couldn’t upload reports and had to go to Starbucks to get my work done.

Front desk staff were great There was a big wet spot on the carpet by the corner of the bed. Having a small balcony with a slider was great, but the slider would not close all the way so the wind would howl through the gap

Our Stays are always Welcomed and staff are so Patient and attentive,the Whole staff are Excellent and they have always been Helpful.

Computer in the lobby area was on, but would not open any pages. The breakfast area had stale bread and bagels. The water in the juice dispenser was not operational. The water in the shower was barely lukewarm at the hottest setting. Person at the desk was not helpful.

I like the location and the price.

This is a great little hotel in the heart of Albuquerque. It isn't in the safest area, but it offers a lot for the money. The staff was very nice, plenty of parking where you can keep an eye on your vehicle, clean, 2 pools, and breakfast. Great value.

The location was a little sketchy but the room was large and clean and the bed was comforable.

Very good staff and value for the money. Hotel is dated, and the bathrooms could use touchup-bubbling paint on walls, bathroom vanity base needs repaint or replacement. The hotel grounds were very nice and the continental breakfast good. the area around the hotel is somewhat sketchy-didn't feel comfortable walking around there after dark. It backs up to the Crowne Royal which was a good option for dinner.

I liked seeing the security guard making his rounds around the property outside at night

The staff was courteous, and accommodating for my mother with a cast shoe on. Close to the door, and parking. Delicious orange water! Room was clean, and comfortable.

For the price, this was not a terrible hotel. It was likely a spectacular property in the 1980s. Decent breakfast, and the shower water pressure rocked. The bed left a lot to be desired, though, and the neighborhood lacked dining options, and didn’t give a very safe vibe.

Staff was very courteous. We were disappointed in the breakfast selection, all carbohydrates and no protein. Would also have liked to have hot water for tea available at times other than just at breakfast. The beds were very comfortable. Overall our experience was okay.

Staff in Kitchen was rude. And the breakfast is so extremely limited. The worst hotel breakfast. They have cereal but you need to ask staff for milk while they tell you to wait to put a jug out. The only thing made their are mini pancakes which are obviously pre made and heated. No eggs or sausage. If your fine with some mini refrigerated pancakes.

We went on a girl's trip and the hotel was perfect and close to everything. Very well lit parking lot at night too.

Very nice and very clean. Breakfast was lacking, but I think that is reflected by the low price for the room. The bed was super comfy and shower was hot. Highly recommend for a budget hotel room. $50 incident fee charged at checkin. Returned at checkout??
