There was a lot of dog hair and in general evidence of animals which is fine but it would’ve been awesome if it was kept on top of. Also, it says there’s a pool but it is connected to a super 8 next door and shares a super small pool with them.

Staff spoke little English. It was hard to commutate. The pool was dirty. They also share the pool with super 8. So, the pool was not big enough for both hotels. The room was very nice and clean. They clean every day. That was nice.

Beds were hard. Parked under a tree and birds covered my car in poo. I moved my car same thing happened again. It was gross. The police showed up several times during our stay. The elevator is extremely slow. The breakfast was meh.

Parking is very tight and getting out on the main strip was a little tricky. Beds were very uncomfortable. Unless your personal preference is super soft and lumpy. This was our first trip to Pigeon Forge…it is VERY commercialized. Felt like the main strip at Myrtle Beach.

The hotel was clean the staff where friendly. The one thing we did not care for was the SHARED SWIMMING POOL!!!! They share a pool with the Super 8 hotel next door. The water was cold as ice you would think they share this pool and it a small pool also for two good sized hotels to be sharing they would at least buy a pool heater.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Usually we stay at Hilton's but we really enjoyed this for the price! Breakfast every morning was great. Staff was friendly. The pool is shared with the neighboring hotel which we did not know but it did not affect anything. Kids still had a great time. At night you can walk up the hill behind the hotel and catch fireflies as it is dark and quiet! Dollywood and GSMNP are both very close and easy to access via car.

The pool was shared with the property next door and always full of kids so not really usable. The gym was one treadmill and a bench or rowing machine. There are not any really great walking paths near the hotel. It is in a busy tourist area.

The rooms were clean and the desk and housekeeping staff were nice. The breakfast was ok. The facility is very inconvenient to enter and really needs a sign at the road. The pool is entirely too small for 2 hotels to share. Probably won't stay there again.

Nice enough property. Though terrible smell in the hallway just outside the lifts on our floor. We did let the evening staff member know but probably not a lot he could do as suspect it was something in the carpet. The overwhelming smell of air freshener in the lift might have been a give away that it was time for a deep clean of the hallway carpet The room was nice and clean, beds comfortable Breakfast was decent. Hotel is back off the main road. Perhaps not as good as I was expecting from the reviews but still a good place

Waiting to speak to someone , room had hair all over even in the bed a used condom in the sheets! Couldn’t use the pool due to staff with there family my son got a black eye from being kicked in the pool pizza being thrown , asked for extra towels and blankets never came. Checked out at 2:30 am the attendant was sleeping in the lobby was told to leave the cards on the desk . Smelled like mildew the room . Never again will I stay

After years of loyalty to another chain, and seeing decline in that facility, we chose this LaQuinta based on reviews! The front desk staff were so consistently welcoming each time we walked through that lobby! Housekeeping does a terrific job! Beds made every day, immaculate bathrooms, clean surfaces and floors! There is absolutely no musty unpleasant smells here! Clean and fresh! And a HOT breakfast every morning! Biscuits and gravy - not watery thin gravy!! Scrambled eggs every day, one day egg and cheese omelets in addition to the scrambled! Fried potatoes! Sausage Pattie’s or links, sliced smoked sausage were meat rotations. Make your own waffles! Assorted cereals! Breads, bagels and English muffins to toast! A few pastries. Muffins. Fresh bananas, apples, mandarins! Juices, coffee! The kitchen staff do an excellent job with keeping fresh hot food replenished. AND, keeping the food area immaculate! Kudos to all the staff!! Keep doing what you’re doing!! And we will be coming back! I’m on a cancer journey and we took this rare chance of a few free days to escape to one of our favorite getaways! The mountains! And my husband made a date with me for one year from now to repeat this! Thank you all for making my respite trip so pleasant!

I will never stay here again. The first room I was assigned had a wet smell as if there was mold/mildew. I was then assigned to another room which smelled just like corn chips. After being put in a 3rd room which also smell unpleasant, I just decided to check out. I know this is not the best hotel and I have stayed here in the past so my expectations weren't unreasonably high. But I was expecting to get a decent room where I could comfortably breathe.

Overall, the room and bathroom were clean and the attendant in the breakfast area was very attentive to making sure everything was well stocked and cleaned. However, those are about the only positives. When we first got in the room and pulled back the covers on the bed, it was obvious the sheets had not been changed from the previous occupants. The fitted sheets in both beds were dirty and wrinkled like they had already been slept on. When we called the front desk and asked for the sheets to be changed, he brought us one set of sheets and handed them to us for us to change ourselves. We then had to make 2 more requests for sheets for the other bed and the rest of the bedding so we could put clean bedding on our beds. The shower curtain leaked making water spray all over the bathroom floor and the tub barely drained. The air barely worked and the room was so humid that everything in the room felt damp including the carpet. The remote for the TV barely worked, and several times the TV got stuck on less than appropriate channels for our children while flipping through. Our room was also directly above the covered carport area, so no matter how much we adjusted the blackout curtains, the extremely bright carport lights still shined into our room. There was also construction going on in the neighboring lot which woke us up at 4 am. I’m thankful the room itself, as well as the hotel in general were clean, but also very thankful we only had to stay here for one night.

The room we were given had a very harsh smell and the noise level was high. The ice mach was right next to the room and made loud noises all night and the second floor rooms when they flushed or showered was almost like they were in our room. Unfortunately can Not recommended

Staff was very friendly, property was very clean and updated, beds were very comfortable although I was kind of disappointed with the location, only view was of the Wendy’s drive through that sat in front of the hotel. One of the reasons that sold us on this hotel was the cute sitting area outside with a fireplace but it was closed and looked as though it was attached to the hotel next door?? The walls of the rooms are paper thin, we could here absolutely everything (people’s conversations, turning on and off the shower/sink, opening and closing their microwave to their phones ringing) from the rooms above and on both sides of our room this was very very annoying!!

The hotel is in a convenient location and the rooms were renovated and clean. The bed was comfortable. My only complaints are (1) they still have the old fashioned heat/AC units so the person closest to it in the bed gets cold and the other person is hot, plus it's noisy and (2) the lighting in the room is lacking...the only overhead lighting is by the door and it's not bright. The only other lighting in the main part of the room is from lamps and they're also not bright. I had trouble finding things in my suitcase, which was on the stand right next to the desk lamp because the light was so dim. The bathroom lighting was fine. We were only there for 1 night so these issues weren't that big a deal.

Ckeck in wasn't good. My r Eserved room was given to someone else. I was given a different room, but on the first floor right near the lobby which wasn't as quiet. I just got done driving for 16 hours straight and this mix up delayed my room for about a half hour. Manager never reached out to me to apologize. Very unhappy with this stay.

The only issue I had was that when we came back to the room around 11pm we called the front rep and asked if we could have extra towels and they said that they didn’t have any clean towels. I find that very hard to believe.

With the exception of Mr. Mike at the front desk who I checked in and out with who was awesome to deal with, the rest of the staff was unfriendly. Anytime a hotel guest walked past a hotel staff member, none of them said hello, if we said hello, you were lucky if we received a hello at all. Don't get me wrong, aside from the check in and check out process, Mike didn't ever acknowledge anyone either, it just gave me the sense that they were just there to do a job and that was it, so much for southern hospitality which I've heard so much about. Aside from the staff, the hotel was great, super convenient, just being one block from the main strip, and affordable. I would however consider staying there on my next visit to Dollywood. Speaking of which, the Hotel is about 10 minutes from the theme park.

This hotel is right in the middle of all of the action in pigeon forge but set back just off of the strip which is nice for quietness… The breakfast was very good. Location is a short drive to the main shopping strip in Gatlinburg and sugarlands visitor center in the smoky mountains national park.

Everything about this location / facilities were wonderful for the exception of the TV remotes (2 different ones) being wonky (channel up / down and volume control) and the LED lighting being very subdued. Hands down best breakfast buffet for this class hotel. Having pay laundry facilities another handy plus. My new favorite place to stay in Pigeon Forge
