Comfort Inn Walterboro is a great place to stay. Large, clean rooms in a great location. The pool is beautiful and we had it all to ourselves. Reasonably priced too with breakfast!

This is a conveniently located, clean hotel to stay at along your trip across I-95. One reviewer commented on it being an older but very clean hotel. I don't consider it old. Stayed for a quick overnight on a family road trip. Very convenient to the highway and plenty of food options nearby. Kids were happy to have a pool, but it was a little dirty. The room was decent. Breakfast was ok. Would do another quick stay.

The rooms were dirty...someone before has had smoked in the room, the sink area wasnt wwiped clean around the taps. When going down to breakfast there was a cocktoach on the ground, i reported it and the girl behind the desk said "oh". We decided not to eat breakfast there as it made it feel unclean.

The check in process was easy. Our room smelled of mildew, the carpet was obviously not vacummed ( there were crumbs all over the floor), there was a pen needle cap on the floor in our bathroom and the outside of our bathroom garbage can was filthy. There was dried brown liquid on the exterior of the trash can like something spilled all over it and nobody cleaned it up. The bed skirts were dirty, once again like something apilled on them and they were never washed.

After a long 10 hour drive all we wanted to do was rest for a few hours in clean bed and refresh. Pulled back the sheets and there were hairs and crumbs all in the sheets. Hairs all over the bathroom floor. The only saving grace was the lady at the front desk that gave us a different room cleaned by a different person. However- hotel owner change and wash the dust ruffles!! They get nasty too.

The room was impeccable. It looked as if it was just finished renovation. However, the TV did not function, nor did the room phone to call down the problem, nor did the internet connection. I will stay here again gladly, but I will try to get there earlier to check out communications.

The night front desk attendant was efficient but not friendly. A smile might have helped. Instead it felt as if we were inconveniencing her. Hotel could use a major refresh. Breakfast attendant was very friendly. Greeted everyone promptly with a good morning and welcome. Kept breakfast area clean and monitored food area constantly. The front desk morning attendant was very friendly once the news was over.

I stayed at this property in January (my first time) - and had s very good stay so decided to stay again as I was driving the same route (I posted a review). I am glad this recent stay was not my first stay because for sure I would never have returned. At check in the front desk person mumbled everything she said - tossed my key to me and when I asked her where the elevator was located I couldn't hear her words. When I asked her to repeat she glared at me and almost yelled. My room was moderatly "okay" - the hot water wasn't great this time. The next morning I went to the breakfast room. When I passed the front desk I was shocked to see that the front desk person was actually "head down" on her desk - and I believe sleeping - or maybe dead - she never once moved the entire time I was there. This hotel can be great or not great - not sure I will repeat stay there again.

This was a great hotel to stay at for the price. We were a family of 4 traveling. It was clean and that’s my main concern when I’m booking a hotel. The breakfast in the morning was good. It was right off 95 which made it nice and easy. Would definitely book again when traveling south again.

The king bed was very comfortable. The air conditioner was quiet and efficient. The breakfast was very nice with eggs, sausage, waffles and muffins. The standard king room was larger than most motels. Overall was our room was very clean and the bathroom was very efficient in its layout. I would definitely recommend this motel.

The hotel was decent and the rooms were decent and clean. The only problem was the breakfast. There were no eggs and one sausage and when they finally did bring out the eggs they were ice cold.

The coffee was so bad I would not return to this property. They would add new coffee to the old canister thus making it cold and bitter. I asked for fresh and got hot coffee from the breakfast person but the quality of the coffee was poor it had to be cheap cheap coffee
