Super 8 by Wyndham Oklahoma/Frontier City

The property is in need of freshening up, but it wasn't dirty per se. It's just that no matter how well you clean it, it's going to look very lived-in. Toilet flushed very very very slow, but it did flush. I was worried that the shower wouldn't drain, but it was fine. For what I paid, which was next-to-nothing, I got a comfortable night's sleep and a shower in the morning, which was all I was looking for. One complaint: They have a strict no-pets policy which is fantastic, but then there was someone — perhaps a family member of the desk clerk — in the lobby with a dog that was on a leash but really, really wanted to come get to know me. He was wearing a vest that said "I'm Special". I wanted to tell him "No, you're not. You're just a pet. Vests you buy on ebay to make it look like you're a service animal are just vests. They don't turn you into anything special at all." I held my tongue. But that wasn't a service animal and should not have been in a no-pets facility out of consideration for those who have allergies and specifically look for hotels with strict no-pets policies.

Easy check in. Easy parking. No problems with room. All good.

it shared a swimming pool with the other hotel

It is an older property but I was able to park right in front of my room and it was priced just right.

The whole hotel was pretty dilapidated, but having said that it was one of the cheapest places to stay. I did not spot any bed bugs or drug paraphernalia/needles. So, I guess it was okay.

The room itself was very nice. It is conveniently located. Unfortunately, there were multiple unsavory characters hanging out in the stairwell smoking dope and playing loud music, so it didn't feel safe. We ended up leaving and getting back on the road after a nap. It's unfortunate, because the room was lovely and the indoor pool looked very nice.

I always have a pleasant trip when staying at the Super 8 here. It is an economy hotel that is very well kept. The staff is always friendly and helpful including housekeeping.

Very outdated. Needs to be torn down. I booked based on the “Wyndham” reputation, but that was a mistake. Breakfast was a joke. Bathroom in small lobby was out of order. Coffee wasn’t made at 7:00. Booked a King, got 2 Queens. Large bug in bathroom. No iron.

I went to check in and wasn't impressed with the lobby and breakfast area. My daughter and I went to another hotel.

Old dirty

Didn’t realize i chose a smoking room and couldn’t change as i arrived at 10 pm and they didn’t have non smoking left. Fine. Bed was lumpy and pillows flat, but i made it work. Worst part is bathroom (ones i saw) had roaches. Yuk. I killed 2 and blocked drains with cups.

Bedsheets and blankets smelled awful. We couldn't sleep because of the insanely terrible smell. Even a 1 star rating is too high for this place.

Wondeful owners and staff. Under renovation at the time. Ajoining rooms were very convenient for my family. Clean and comfy. But found the room had bed bugs. Very disappointing because i really wanted to return here.

Run down, mold in the bathroom. Something that should not be on the bedcover maybe makeup or something but it was discusting! Find a different place to stay!!!

Bedbug on bed in first room. No exhaust fan in bathroom and the light switch didn’t work. There were power surges so tv and ac going off.

The front desk person was very nice. Other than that the room was run down, holes in the bathroom wall, hair on every surface, blood on mattress liner, burn holes in blankets and carpet.

It was ok I mean you get what you pay for the beds were not comfortable the a/c wasn’t that cold even at night and the walls in the bathroom didn't seem to be whipped very well

Why would you give a customer a key to a room that is so hot they cannot stand to be inside the room? And then give them a key to another room. That is just the same. Your air conditioners are broken. And the young lady at the front desk was so rude. She said oh I was busy folding towels. It took two hours to finally get a room that was cool enough to stay inside. It will be difficult for me to ever reserve a room with any Super 8..

The walls and doors all had lines from spilled drinks running and never cleaned up, holes attempted to be covered by the trim.

This is my third or fourth stay at this Super 8. It's very convenient as I'm passing through on I-35, and it's very affordable. This time my room was very warm when I first checked in, but I turned on the AC and stepped on on the balcony to enjoy a beverage and make a couple phone calls, and within about 30 minutes the room was comfortable for sleeping. I especially like their NO PETS policy. As a person who is allergic to pet dander, I'm finding it harder to find hotels that are not "pet friendly" (i.e. abusive toward the humans who rent their rooms). Your dog is cute and whatnot but I can't sleep in a room that it has been in. This hotel gets me. And they get me every time I pass through OKC.

The property is run down and needs to be repaired, repainted, and black mold cleaned. WiFi network is weak throughout the facility unless you’re right next to the main office. Breakfast in the morning looks uneatable and nothing very close by for good options.

Unit was dated, bath was dirty and not clean. No hairdryer. Breakfast was dissappinting, no hot water available.

No continental breakfast was there three days. Act congress get pillow . Scorpion in bathroom tells me needs spraying like Super 8 Motels/hotels been all Omer Kansas and Texas stays this is the worst we’ve ever had. We are now in La Quanita very nice. Nasty dirty carpet.
