Great location to restaurants, stores, and subway. The property was very well maintained. I was very happy to see there was a gym.

Lovely and clean! Very friendly and helpful staff which made it a great stay. Enjoyed the amenities and the room was cozy and comfortable. The shower was hard to maintain during the stay because of the wet room style, it would be great if a squeegee was provided or extra floor towels. The air conditioning in the room was good but air quality got a bit stuffy at times - not a dealbreaker though. Good facilities as well with the gym but the laundry room could use a few more laundry pods or fabric softener options as the washer didn’t the only clean my clothes and dryer was semi dry.

Had to wait over 10 mins most days to use lifts

We got the king room it was prettt comfy, no view but that was ok. The staff were great friendly , helpful , nice (Jeffrey Andrew Stephen and Kevin) Kevin the bartender at bar 1905 in the hotel was awesome very friendly made our stay extra special by making great drinks and giving us some good recommendations. I give this place a 10/10 because the staff made it welcoming and that’s what really matters when going into a hotel. Thank you and hope we get to see you guys again

Centrally located. It was an east walk to Broadway and over to the Hudson Yards. The lobby has live music and a nice little bar.

This hotel is really well placed! Walking distance to Time Square, Bryant Park, The Empire State, Javits center. They have an extensive breakfast. Offer discounted parking a block away. Everyone that works there is super friendly and very helpful. There is a great bar, fitness center, fireplace and games. My personal issue is the heat. I turned it off in my room but was still uncomfortable. (I like to sleep very cold) I have recommended this hotel to anyone I know that is going into the city.

Close to time square, Rockefeller center, empire estate, shopping etc., Parking is a couple blocks away, hotel gets discount for parking with this parking company Meyers. Charge for small car is $10 less than suv. But still expensive. Hotel is clean, staff is friendly, breakfast options are ok. Hotel also offers happy hour everyday and they serve wine, beer, soft drinks, hot chocolate, complementary. Water in the shower is very low pressure (not even exaggerating).

The hotel is located very close to Penn Station and many other famous landmarks of NYC. The room is clean and neat, the beds are comfortable, complimentary breakfast is a very nice money-saving service for guests. The only drawbacks are only two elevators available, so sometimes the waiting time is long, and the options for daily breakfast are almost unchanged.

This hotel is conveniently located to Penn Station, restaurants, Times Square, Hudson Yards, etc. It feels quite safe. My room was clean and very quiet. While the room was on the small side, it was big enough, & what to expect in NYC. The staff are professional & accommodating. I have no complaints! This was my second time staying here, & I would stay here, again.

Breakfast is good. Property was clean. No waiting for lift as mention by many reviewers. However didnt like few things. I stayed with my family. While selecting hotel, I wanted to make sure rooms are big. However like other hotel Springhill also did same thing. Showed 300Sqft but given room 20x8 Sq ft. Even I include bathroom room size was just 200 sq ft. Highly disappointed. Also, front desk person told me he is going to give good room but he given me room which had very bad backside. We didnt open window any single day. They should clearly show correct room size and if rooms are available then atleast give good room to family. I will say, if you want good breakfast, cleanliness you can select this hotel.

We also like to reuse towels to conserve water but with only two tiny hooks in the bathroom, it was hard to hang up damp towels to dry. Breakfast was very sub-par and extremely crowded.

The room was decent space compared to other hotels. When we checked in someone from housekeeping opened our door without knocking, scary. Our shower was a little dirty, someone drew a heart on our glass and it hadnt been cleaned… Breakfast is good. Walkable to time square and subway

The beds were incredibly uncomfortable and the pillows were super thin. Some of the towels were threadbare. Aside from that and the room being tiny, the location was really good. Free breakfast was a bonus and all the staff were very friendly.

I stayed here in 2023 and thought it was great. I stayed in a queen room and remember the bed was comfortable and the room layout was good. This time I stayed in a king and the layout was horrible. The door opens directly onto the bed, the window goes to an internal courtyard, and they must have had bed bugs recently or a scare because now everything has plastic covers over the mattress and pillows which made me feel like I was in an over priced dorm room. The linens and bed are like a best western. The fridge froze all my drinks. And the in-room coffee maker didn’t work. The elevators had extremely long lines. The cleaning staff did a great job. And the staff was very nice. But the place is completely average. I won’t be returning. NYC midtown is expensive- but you can get a lot better for the same price.

The free breakfast was nice (hot & cold choices & good coffee). Our room(2 queen beds), however, was small. The sliding door for the restroom didn’t have a lock on it, nor did it stay closed all the way so we had to push the trashcan over to keep it closed. It was so inconvenient. Rm#1006.

What I liked before I did not like this time. The room was small. The bathroom was tiny and badly located. Elevators always busy. Sometimes had to wait for up to 15 minutes. Too pricey for the accommodation.

Small room, pretty old, reception not very nice. Plastic cutlery and paper plates for breakfast. Good location.

Air conditioning won’t go below 67 degrees. Too warm in room to sleep well.

The staff and quality of service was not just subpar, it was almost inhumane. There are so many better alternatives at this price range, you are better off going somewhere else. We were left freezing for 2 days with no heat and no help from the staff or the manager whatsoever. They treated us with complete disrespect and never cared to solve the issue. It literally took them 2 days, 8 phone-calls, and 4 in-person talks with the staff and the manager to get them to provide us with a space heater. No apology and nothing offered. I mean it, do yourself a favor and avoid the property.

This hotel was recommended by other reviews and I agree it was a great place to stay. No issues at check-in. Jeffrey and the staff were great. Room was clean, comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. The only thing I'd say about the room is there needs to be a tiny end table on the double queen rooms next to the bed next to the bathroom wall. Breakfast was excellent each morning with little to no waiting on food placement when things ran out. The only issue we had was the salt shakers need a little help in the humidity. Again great place, great room and short walking distances to nearby attractions.

Fantastic! Jeffery Wright and the whole front desk staff made my three day, two night stay absolutely fantastic! Christian, Jessenia and Michael managed our early check in and check out with expert precision. The bar staff, food service and housekeeping made my stay that much more fantastic. I will stay here again!

My room was cancelled a few hours before arrival even though I called and confirmed the accomodation during that day. Was not recorded in the system by staff so when we arrived off our flight at 1am we had no room to go to. We ended up in one room with 6 people and slept on the floor until they could find us a room the next morning. Poor communication by front staff. Very disappointed. Would not stay there again.

The Staff was awesome! Super professional and helpful! Jeffrey assisted at check out and he was amazing! The gentleman who handled the luggage to the front desk and security.. housekeeping was attentive.

The check-in was extremely slow. The bed was squeaky and moved every time I moved, which made it very uncomfortable. My coffee machine wasn't working, so I requested a new one. It came over an hour later...

Staff are awesome. Could not do enough especially Jeffrey. But all staff in every part of the hotel are friendly helpful and courteous. They seem like a very happy bunch and are there to serve your every need. The included breakfast is awesome and there were several days a Bubbly Bar was on. Whilst I was recovering from surgery they were very kind and helpful. We also used the concierge for tickets and this was both efficient and cost effective. Highly recommend.

I booked this hotel because it was conveniently located. The hotel is okay - its a good location, they have a basic breakfast every day, and the rooms, while small, have all the necessities. Housekeeping is efficient and do a good job. However, we did not have a good experience. We requested a room with two queen beds, which we booked less than 24 hours earlier. When we arrived, this room was unavailable. Instead, they offered us a room with a King bed and a sofa bed. That was inconvenient since we were travelling with our 8-year-old. They apologised and offered us 7000 Marriott Bonvoy points and three bottles of water as compensation, and offered to move us to the requested room after 24 hours. We took the offer given that there were no other options. The room was small, and the sofa bed was uncomfortable. And no bedding was provided for the sofa bed. The next day, nobody checked in on us to ask us about the move. At one point, when I went to the lobby to refill some water bottles and then placed them in my bag, I was approached by hotel security and asked if I had paid for the bottles. After I explained that I just refilled them, he left (without an apology). Overall, I did not feel welcome at the hotel.

The rooms are large for NYC. Breakfast is included, which is superb. Very quiet, clean, very friendly staff. Area is convenient for an NYC trip. Close to Penn Station and Times Square, so everything is close by with public transport. Travelled with teenagers, many families stay at this hotel. Very highly recommend it.

This was a great place to stay in Manhattan. Quick walk to Penn Station. And easy walk to Broadway area and Times Square. The lobby was large and made a great hang out place. They have a full bar that is open until midnight. And a very nice breakfast included. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

This is a great place! Staff is awesome and great amenities for being in such a great location in Manhattan! We walked here from Penn Station. It was only a few blocks away.

I was accommodated with early check in. The staff is super friendly. Very clean hotel. Close to everything, train station, Times Square and Broadway. I Will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Excellent stay. Very clean hotel and room. Area felt very safe. Quiet street in a busy area of town. Mini fridge and microwave in room. Large room by NY standards (and loved that it had two Queens instead of Full sized beds). Seconds to 34th/Penn Station subway (slightly more confusing than most MTA stations, but easy to figure out). Very easy walk to Times Square, Empire State Building, MSG, Penn Station, High Line, Little Island, Chelsea Market. Lots of fast food options within a block (McDonalds, Dunkin, Starbucks). Very international clientele added to the fun. No hotels in NY are "cheap" these days, but this hotel had great bang for the buck. Staff was always present and very helpful. Would definitely stay again. (Tourist tip: do take the time to figure out the MTA system - it's very easy and extremely cheap. Taxi fares, particularly in this heavy traffic area, will eat you alive)

So close to Penn Station the hotel is a great option to stay. Staff was super friendly and looking to please every need of the customers. It the cleanest hotel that we stay in the last 3 years and smell really good. The breakfast area had a nice selection and a great employees keeping all clean, full and helping customers. I will stay again and recommend to my friends and family.

Hotel was walking distance from a lot of places which was nice. The room itself could use some upgrades. We stayed in a room with minimal storage space, also the shower would leak out the water so we had to use towels to try and prevent the spills. Also for breakfast it was very crowded so keep that in mind. Either go super early or later in the morning. Overall it was a nice location and would consider booking here again.

SpringHill Suites by Marriott are generally reliable for our family as a hotel chain with comfortable accommodations at a reasonable rate. This time was no different. We also liked the included breakfast buffet, which offered a sufficient number of choices and decent coffee.

Loved our stay here! Friendly, accommodating staff. Easy check in process. Clean, comfortable property and room. Had a really cute room with a terrace. Quite an amazing breakfast spread! Walking distance to everything (but you feel like you're staying in a neighborhood). We will definitely be back!!
