Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Cuyahoga Falls, OH

The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating is because some ammenties are closed due to construction. This was not noted on their website. The fitness center and laundry are closed. We were not told upon check in either. Got up and ready for workout at 5AM to find it. Staff was very personable. Rooms very clean. Had a king suite. Will stay again.

Nicely updated--only problem was when we returned later at night from a concert--there was not a single spot for us to park! Had to go inside and front desk lady had us park by the front sidewalk. She was very nice, but trailers for construction out back blocked the whole back paved area.

Well one of the workers was very rude and the ceiling was bad in the swimming room

It’s fine. Chlorine smell from the pool is pretty overwhelming first thing when you walk in. Our room is on the first floor, down the hall from the pool and it’s not much better in here.

Took 25 minutes for someone to check us in waited in lobby had to call the hotel to get someone to come check us in. When was called earlier in day was told pool was closed for maintenance but would be open when we got there. I asked if it would for sure be open or we’d stay somewhere else I was told yes but got there and the pool was closed. There were people yelling throughout the night. Then got woke up at 2am to another rooms door getting pounded on and them getting kicked out. Then proceed more yelling in parking lot.

It was okay. Our room was not the cleanest, hence the meh review. I had to wipe everything down myself. There is only one elevator so wait times can be long. Breakfast was also meh and they only have a few tables so really nowhere to sit. We skipped it. Staff was friendly though.

We just had issues parking when we returned from our concert but it seems like everyone was struggling to find parking.

The staff was very nice. Breakfast was good. The bed and pillows were veey comfortable. The room and hotel in general were clean. The shower had great water pressure. We needed to do laundry & they have laundry detergent for sale. The washer and dryer worked well. We did not try the pool but it was available. I would stay here again.

The property is being upgraded, so the upgraded area is nice. The only thing only ice maxhine that worked was on the 1st floor. Staff was friendly. I like doors lock at 9 and you have to have ypur key to get in

The day we were to Check out O7/02/24 my Boyfriend got stuck in the Elevator and the Emergency Call did not work and pushing the Emergency Alarm in the Elevator multiple time did not get a response from Hotel Staff. My Boyfriend was Yelling for Help and another guest heard him and went to the front Desk for help. Soon after the Elevator returned to the First Floor and my Boyfriend was able to Exit the Elevator and will be Reporting all of this to the Fire Marshall and City Inspector and contacting his Attorney once we return home. The Emergency Phone feature not working and no one answering it is not only unsafe it is illegal. No one from the Hotel Staff responding to the Emergency Alarm being rang multiple time is unacceptable. We have requested a full refund for the 4 days at this Hotel but have not heard if the money will be Refunded but that is something our Attorney can deal with. Other than the Elevator incident our stay was good the Hotel was quiet and the Room was Clean but we will not be staying here again.

There were places on the carpet that were sticky, there were areas that looked like grease was coming up through the carpet squares. The bed was very hard and lumpy. The air conditioner sounded like a jet engine and the room was hot/stale air. Just overall an uncomfortable stay. The people were nice and accommodating.

The room was immaculate, the entire building was just gorgeous and shined! The walls in our bathroom shower were so clean they shined! If we ever go back to this area we will stay here again

I enjoyed my stay but it was hair in the sink an shower orher then that 5 stars i had hair in the face bowl an its a strangers hair but i would return im sure they would of fixed that issue

Great curb appeal upon arrival and from there it did not disappoint. I am a world traveler and, from that perspective, I must commend this property. It was UBER clean, parking was easy. Every staff member i encountered was a delight. Upon check out, a male housekeeping member ran out to give me my fast-charger I'd left in the room. Room was immaculate and updated. Breakfast was decent ... better than most complimentary ones. Coffee was GREAT! I am raving here because I had my skepticisms going into this booking. They were allayed. Location between Akron and Cleveland was perfect... & it was extremely convenient to shopping, restaurants and the highway. I will stay here every time I visit my hometown of Akron, OH.

I was not told renovations and construction were going on. The room was clean but dust from the construction was in the lobby and probably in the dining area.

Cleanliness, nice

In our experience, this hotel was very clean, there was a great breakfast bar and coffee, the staff was friendly, and it had been recently updated like new. However, we are giving four stars because the walls seemed paper thin. We could not only hear the television from the adjacent room, and we could hear another couple fighting throughout the night. We would stay again, but would ask for a room not close to others if possible.

The associate who checked me in was fantastic and made me feel very welcome. Very professional. The place was clean, simple and the bed was comfy. I like how there was a door to the bedroom area that separated the living area. Breakfast in the morning was great 👍

Our TV never worked well - the sound was awful and the picture kept blipping out for two days. The pillows are very small which was not very comfortable and our shower drained slowly and only reached lukewarm temperature.

The bed was way too high for a 4 foot 11 inch woman traveling by herself. I slept in the chair because I could not get into the bed.

I stayed 1 night and the overall room size and quality was fine for what you paid. However, my AC was SO loud I could not sleep. It sounded like an airplane was in my room every time it went on/off. Unfortunately, it was late when I got back to my room so did not want it serviced. When I checked out the receptionist apologized but did not offer any assistance.

Was in town for a concert. First time here. Hotel is going through renovations. Not an issue on the weekend. Rooms were large and quiet. Only real issue was the WiFi is really, really slow. Needs to be upgraded. Also, the sleeper couch is rather stiff and hard. It was not very comfortable to sit on. Staff was great and very helpful. Would stay again.

Clean room, we got a king suite. Loved this because it had a couch and a TV and one room then you had a door that shuts where the bedroom bed was with also a TV bathroom in the middle. I think the room was room 102 first floor it. two adults in the king size bed and the pullout couch one adult or two younger or smaller people. The door to the bedroom was the best part just so you have two different places excellent.!

From the moment I checked in I received such courteous and friendly service. The room was clean, the person assisting with the breakfast was so kind and thoughtful to us in assisting us even though it was almost time to close, she went above and beyond. The customer service provided by your staff is more than five stars!

Nate at front desk was wonderful! So helpful and friendly! We came into town for a concert, he gave us great advice for getting around. Hotel is immaculate. Hotel breakfast amazing and free cookie at check in!

Excellent customer service!! Clean and quiet

I am a 21 year retired veteran and have stayed at numerous hotels and motels throughout out my career. This is the first time I ever had something taken from my room. On the 23 May 2025 on my second day of staying at the Comfort Inn, I experience a problem with my iron and tv remote, before departing for the day I informed the desk clerk of the problem and she informed me that she would take care of the situation. As I returned in the evening my room was cleaned, a new iron and the remote worked . I took a shower to go out for the evening and as I reach into my small travel bag to use my bottle of Tom Ford cologne, it was gone, I know the bottle was present because I utilize it the day prior. I immediately notified the desk clerk of the problem, who then called the hotel manager . The following day I made contact with the day desk clerk to explain the problem again. The clerk put me in contact with the manager who was aware of the problem. While speaking to the manager, I felt that she had already formed an opinion about my problem and it wasn't positive. She informed me that she had 100% confidence that know one from the hotel staff was capable of theft . She requested that we search my room to see if we could locate my bottle of cologne, which I oblige, and the cologne was still not located. I was not offered any type of apology or compensation. With my negative experience I would not recommend anyone stay at the Comfort Inn. This hotel lacks Integrity and Honesty.

Had to wait for a staff member to show up at front desk to check in. Not well trained and thought Ontario was a town. Very hard to understand person. The breakfast staff were very friendly and very attentive to keeping area clean and fully stocked.

Check in was great. The counter person was very nice. We were coming in from out of town and were doing a very late check-in. I called ahead to let her know and when I arrived she remembered that I called. The only thing that was wrong with my booking is I reserved a room that was supposed to have a sleeper sofa, but the room that we were given didn't have one. Upon checking out we accidently took a decorative pillow from the room. About 5 minutes after leaving the counter attendant called to let us know when had taken it. I told her that I was so sorry about this and we would return it on our way out of town. A few minutes later we received a call from the Manager telling us that our card had been charged $250 for the pillow. He told us that it was designed and made just for the hotel and that if we wanted the money returned we had better bring the pillow back today. He was very rude. We went to the hotel a few hours later to return the pillow and he was no where around. I asked for some type of receipt saying we had returned the pillow but they could not give me one. The desk attendant said they had explained to him that we had told them we would be returning the pillow but he refused to listen and left us the message anyway, We tried several time so reach him by phone and so did the attendant but he never answered. We finally just took a picture of the counter attendant holding the pillow as proof. He did finally answer after several more tries! No Apology!!

We had an absolutely amazing stay and will book this hotel every visit. Even before the stay I called to confirm certain details and the hotel staffer named “Star” was helpful, professional and friendly. I was excited to see her when we arrived and she truly was a highlight of our stay. Thank you for all of your help Star! I left items behind and she quickly called me big thanks to the staff that spotted the items in the room and Star for reaching out. The pool, breakfast and overall service 10’s across the board!

There was no “VIP experience”. The complimentary drinks shown in the description of the property didn’t exist. Check in was to be at 3:00, at 3:30 we were still being told that rooms were not cleaned. Staff was less than concerned about our wait.

This hotel is quiet, clean, comfortable, with a good breakfast znd a friendly and accommodating staff. There's plenty of decent parking and the location is great - halfway between Akron and the Cuyahoga Falls National Park.

Hotel was within great proximity of many restaurants and close to the National Park. Beds were comfortable and staff is great. Would definitely recommend.

This hotel has good and in a good area. The only problem is train that is close to hotel and it is noisy and this is problem at night.

Very friendly staff, nice lobby area and breakfast area. Room was okay once we had the AC going which cleared the little bit of mustiness we encountered when we first got in. Room could use some updating but had very comfortable beds and clean bathroom. Conveniently located to Akron and only about 40 min to Cleveland. Overall, we had a nice stay.

Wonderful stay. We were there for a gymnastics meet. We were going to have to leave before breakfast service and the employee who opens breakfast came in early and had it ready before we had to leave. It was an excellent location as well.

Clean, comfortable bedding, good location in Cuyahoga Falls for the Pretenders show in the East End of Akron. Nice breakfast included. Everything was a positive experience. This is the second time a friend and i have stayed overnight in town for a concert.

We really enjoyed this hotel. I appreciated the level of cleanliness and comfort. My son said that even the pull out couch was comfortable! My mom and I we are both shocked at breakfast because it included a couple of optiona for dairy free and gluten free diets, and that almost never happens anywhere!

It was a convenient location for things we wanted to do. The breakfast baked goods were not tasty and poor selection. It was extremely hot weather-it would have been much appreciated to have a cooler of water available in front lobby. The staff was very nice. Clean room but bathroom needs updating. Everything worked and we had good beds, tv, and linens.

Property seemed to be newly renovated. Rooms were very clean. Water pressure in bathtub/shower was great. We found the bed very high off the ground.. Difficult for a senior to climb on the bed. Otherwise, the room was fine. Breakfast was horrible. Of all the hotels we have booked in the past that included breakfast, this was the worst. No milk, only soya. No regular bread for toast, just bagels. Ran out of coffee. Took 25 minutes to make new brew. Had crock pot for oatmeal. But when we lifted the lid, no oatmeal was made.

Checkin was very slow. Too much chit chat with guests. 20m later we got checked in and the host indicates that "you probably heard me check in the other guest". SMH. Temp in room was not controllable, water went out for five hours and noisy at times from renovation work. Breakfast food was very low quality, but edible. On a plus side, coffee was good. Not a great stay, at all. Disappointed.
