Complimentary breakfast was excellent compared to higher rated hotels I’ve stayed at. Great selection for all dietary needs. Dairy milk alternative would have been nice such as almond milk or other options to ensure something for everyone. They had gluten free oatmeal which is a great option to have. Cleanliness such as windows and condition of the hotel could use some improving considering the rate $ per night. Also pool was closed last minute for our stay. No discount offered for this inconvenience although was notified by the hotel prior to check in by phone which was nice. Overall, it was fine for a quick one night stay.

The actual stay was nice. But we had called before coming and asked if they had enough parking for me to bring an RV. They said that they had RV parking. So I reserved it, since I had an appointment next door for my RV. I got there and they don't have an area for RV parking. She was expecting me to try to back in a 40 foot camper into the back parking lot with cars also being parked there. I told her it's like maneuvering a semi truck. I had to park in the empty restaurant parking lot next door, but they had a sign up saying no overnight parking.

The room was beautiful. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The pool was smaller than it looked in the pictures however it was nice. My babygirl had fun her first time in a pool. The staff was super sweet and friendly.

The place is much more appealing when you go inside as it has been remodeled. The only issues were the morning desk clerk not letting me use the microwave. (Just microwave it for me) The fitness room was not accessible.

The room with clean. Sheets looked very clean. Towels were ok, not the best but clean. There was some strands of hair in the bathroom sink and tub which makes me question the cleanliness. But overall looked very clean. Unfortunately my bathroom toilet had a leak overnight that resulted in me having a slip. I noticed the front desk and the manager came to my room within in minutes to assess.

Microwave didnt work, dirty carpet in room &lounge/entrance. both ice makers were broke. Found lots of dark lint in sheets, furniture in lounge looked dirty would not sit on it, tub had a large brown stain in bottom , the outdoor landscaping was un kepted or dead. Staff were friendly, helpful and breakfast food was good with lits of choices and the breakfast area appeared to have been recently updated, clean and installed.

I checked in around 10:30pm on 8/26/25 was assigned to one room on the 3rd floor as soon as I got into the room I started to turn on the lights, a few of the lights didn’t work so I went down to the front desk to let the respectful, kind and polite lady know and she immediately put me in another room on the same floor. I got into the second room and started turning on the lights over the bed the lights started flickering bad plus spider webs were hanging with 2 spiders which was webbed across the bed so I went back to the front desk and told her about the second room. She immediately asked me to have a seat while she went to look into another room so I did. She came back and told me about another room which was Room# 3 she gave me the key card on the same floor she was still polite, kind, apologetic, and respectful so I went up to get settled. Even in my 3rd room the lights were flickering but I was so tired by 12AM that I did not want to bother the Front Desk Clerk Again, so I just recorded a video.

The Staff was great. The room and breakfast was great. Parking was easy and safe. The only issue was open soap was left in the shower from the previous guest along with a wash cloth draped over the shower curtain. Other than that, everything was wonderful.

Had a good breakfast but our room was infested with ants. I ended up moving my bags into my car at night because the ants were biting me in the bed. Was only staying there for one night so it wasn’t worth trying to get another room because of bugs are in one room they’re most likely in the others too. Pool was dirty and not cleaned with silt at the bottom of the pool. Property was deceptively not upkept by building staff. I travel all around the country and I would not recommend this hotel. Carpet stains on floor and clearly not vacuumed because of the dirt visible

First room #614 had dried blood splattered in the bathroom on the walls, the tile and grout. Food was left from previous guests in the refrigerator. Carpet was not vacuumed. Windows are dirty. We requested another room. Upon inspection, I didn’t get past the bathroom as it had black mold in it. Management refused to refund my wife’s card as she told the person that was waiting to check in about our horrible short visit. The Manager not only charged the cost of our stay when we did even use the hotel, he charged an additional fee of $150 from what I was told from them losing the customer who walked out. This is an unacceptable situation all the way around.

So we thought we were getting a room with two Queens to sleep 3 people, but it was actually two doubles. When I asked the staff at checkout about this, they confirmed that they currently do not have rooms with two queens. We made due, but it wasn\'t the most comfortable nights sleep for my wife and I.

Overall I had a good stay. The breakfast was surprisingly well-stocked and diverse. Breakfast and front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room and common areas were kept clean and in good condition. My only issue was that both the fridge and air conditioning in the room would be quite loud at times. No vacancies made it impossible to move rooms but staff did offer to come and inspect with WD-40. I appreciated the effort and ended up turning off the fridge unit.

I thought it was a pretty good stay overall. It was fairly quiet, the only noise i really heard was someone stomping above me. They did have a hot breakfast but it was VERY limited. 2 egg choices, 2 sausage choices and then some fruit, cereal, yogurt, muffins, bagels etc. i thought it was a decent breakfast. Everyone was SO nice from check in to check out. I would stay here again if i find myself in Akron again

The staff was very friendly and helpful which makes a big difference in my perception of the property. The lobby was under construction but the other common areas, like the meeting room where they had to serve breakfast because of the lobby construction and the hallways, were well kept. I liked that there was a small refrigerator with separate freezer and a microwave in my room. The room was a good size and the bed was clean and comfortable. I very much liked that the door to the rooms were soft close doors because you don’t hear doors slamming from other guests. Here come the negatives—The room was older and the biggest problem was that the heater was old and very loud. The bathroom switchplate was also dirty and the deadbolt on the room door did not work. All in all, given the quality of the staff and the price we paid for the room, it was a positive experience.

It was easily accessible from interstate 77 and tucked away that minimized traffic providing the quiet atmosphere. All staff members were pleasant, polite, and personable which provided a very friendly stay. Our specific room had a few issues and the staff were very helpful to assist us with resolutions. Our jacuzzi tub jets wouldn't operate and maintenance was called. He was very nice and spoke with us the entire time about it and eventually got it working! The only unresolved issue was we didnt have a phone in our room. Which we didnt need. It appeared that during the room remodel they covered up the access panel. This stay truly was a wonderful experience and the best staff we have ever encountered in any of our stays anywhere. Thank you so much!

I was under the impression the hotel was in "downtown" Akron not in the middle of highways. No place to walk or shop if I needed something. The pool was a joke. The cost per night was way too much. I was very disappointed.

This is a very nice Comfort Inn & Suites, the staff was very responsive, the breakfast buffet was excellent (lots of options, fresh fruit was fresh, hot food was hot, good coffee), very clean. A/C was a little loud but very effective. Would definitely stay here again.
