Comfort Inn & Suites Cuyahoga Falls - Akron

The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating is because some ammenties are closed due to construction. This was not noted on their website. The fitness center and laundry are closed. We were not told upon check in either. Got up and ready for workout at 5AM to find it. Staff was very personable. Rooms very clean. Had a king suite. Will stay again.

Nicely updated--only problem was when we returned later at night from a concert--there was not a single spot for us to park! Had to go inside and front desk lady had us park by the front sidewalk. She was very nice, but trailers for construction out back blocked the whole back paved area.

Room was very nice. Multiple floors pop machines wouldn’t take bills, went to front desk and no one was around.

It’s fine. Chlorine smell from the pool is pretty overwhelming first thing when you walk in. Our room is on the first floor, down the hall from the pool and it’s not much better in here.

We just had issues parking when we returned from our concert but it seems like everyone was struggling to find parking.

I was not told renovations and construction were going on. The room was clean but dust from the construction was in the lobby and probably in the dining area.

The property is being upgraded, so the upgraded area is nice. The only thing only ice maxhine that worked was on the 1st floor. Staff was friendly. I like doors lock at 9 and you have to have ypur key to get in

Everything was good. But we could not use the pool so my kids disappointed for that.

The day we were to Check out O7/02/24 my Boyfriend got stuck in the Elevator and the Emergency Call did not work and pushing the Emergency Alarm in the Elevator multiple time did not get a response from Hotel Staff. My Boyfriend was Yelling for Help and another guest heard him and went to the front Desk for help. Soon after the Elevator returned to the First Floor and my Boyfriend was able to Exit the Elevator and will be Reporting all of this to the Fire Marshall and City Inspector and contacting his Attorney once we return home. The Emergency Phone feature not working and no one answering it is not only unsafe it is illegal. No one from the Hotel Staff responding to the Emergency Alarm being rang multiple time is unacceptable. We have requested a full refund for the 4 days at this Hotel but have not heard if the money will be Refunded but that is something our Attorney can deal with. Other than the Elevator incident our stay was good the Hotel was quiet and the Room was Clean but we will not be staying here again.

The renovation going on was a little bit of a distraction. The part of the renovation that was done was still a mix of the old and new.

There were places on the carpet that were sticky, there were areas that looked like grease was coming up through the carpet squares. The bed was very hard and lumpy. The air conditioner sounded like a jet engine and the room was hot/stale air. Just overall an uncomfortable stay. The people were nice and accommodating.

Bathtub had few hair strands all over when we got the room. Bathroom fan was very noisy and made a rattle noise . Room smelled musty. Common areas were hot . I don’t think the air conditioning was on or working properly around the hotel.

Spotlessly clean hotel with friendly staff. Will stay again.

Dirty carpet, ac not working

This property had multiple issues with the room I have sent the pictures to the email address that the front desk clerk provided The room was old and had multiple problems with it paint flaking carpet very worn with big worn spots in it chair broken burn marks on the table mold in bathtub

Arrived and staff was not friendly or helpful. Key cards continued to not work. The hotel was under renovation which should have been noted on hotel.com website. There whole hotel smelled like smoke. The room was dirty which I’m sure is being remedied by the remodel but not helpful now. Very disappointed.

I decided to schedule a “staycation” for my girls, plan was to drive couple hours and stay at a hotel, use the pool and dine around new places but they closed the pool, when I asked they didn’t know why. The whole place had a funky smell and there was some hair on our toilet. Definitely not coming back

I reserved a non-smoking room and was clearly given a room that was heavily smoked in. The carpet in room 322 was so gross with black stains and dirt. There were fingernail clippings left on the bathroom counter in between and next to the fresh linens. Apparently housekeeping left the unused towels from the previous person in the room and never bothered to remove them or clean the bathroom counter. I was so grossed out that I will never stay there again.

The AC would go on every 5 minutes and it sounded like an airplane engine ramping up. So annoying. Got very little sleep. Room 322

Very friendly, efficient staff. The room was clean and roomy with a comfortable bed. The hotel is in a really convenient area- rows of restaurants, shopping and fast food around the corner. Close to downtown Akron. Very close freeway access. Only "complaint" was that the toilet paper holder is like 2 feet away from the toilet! Very enjoyable stay.

Quiet comfortable room..

Staff was excellent. Unfortunately the recent renovations left a lot to be desired. No towel racks or towel hangers in rooms. No shelves for clean towels and hair dryer but sink counter.. no closed drawers for wardrobe. Very noisy air conditioner in room. And tattered American flag hanging on flagpole

Everything was great. Except the bed pillows! No shape or firmness at all.

Our TV never worked well - the sound was awful and the picture kept blipping out for two days. The pillows are very small which was not very comfortable and our shower drained slowly and only reached lukewarm temperature.

I stayed 1 night and the overall room size and quality was fine for what you paid. However, my AC was SO loud I could not sleep. It sounded like an airplane was in my room every time it went on/off. Unfortunately, it was late when I got back to my room so did not want it serviced. When I checked out the receptionist apologized but did not offer any assistance.

Service outstanding Complaint has to do with the room. The hvac noise was horrendously loud when the heater was initiated.

Clean room, we got a king suite. Loved this because it had a couch and a TV and one room then you had a door that shuts where the bedroom bed was with also a TV bathroom in the middle. I think the room was room 102 first floor it. two adults in the king size bed and the pullout couch one adult or two younger or smaller people. The door to the bedroom was the best part just so you have two different places excellent.!

Front desk staff was rude and canceled my reservation because they couldn’t pre charge my card. Drove 2 hours for an event and had to drive 2 hours back home because of this after event was over.

Nate at front desk was wonderful! So helpful and friendly! We came into town for a concert, he gave us great advice for getting around. Hotel is immaculate. Hotel breakfast amazing and free cookie at check in!

Clean room, quite comfortable. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

I am a 21 year retired veteran and have stayed at numerous hotels and motels throughout out my career. This is the first time I ever had something taken from my room. On the 23 May 2025 on my second day of staying at the Comfort Inn, I experience a problem with my iron and tv remote, before departing for the day I informed the desk clerk of the problem and she informed me that she would take care of the situation. As I returned in the evening my room was cleaned, a new iron and the remote worked . I took a shower to go out for the evening and as I reach into my small travel bag to use my bottle of Tom Ford cologne, it was gone, I know the bottle was present because I utilize it the day prior. I immediately notified the desk clerk of the problem, who then called the hotel manager . The following day I made contact with the day desk clerk to explain the problem again. The clerk put me in contact with the manager who was aware of the problem. While speaking to the manager, I felt that she had already formed an opinion about my problem and it wasn't positive. She informed me that she had 100% confidence that know one from the hotel staff was capable of theft . She requested that we search my room to see if we could locate my bottle of cologne, which I oblige, and the cologne was still not located. I was not offered any type of apology or compensation. With my negative experience I would not recommend anyone stay at the Comfort Inn. This hotel lacks Integrity and Honesty.

Had to wait for a staff member to show up at front desk to check in. Not well trained and thought Ontario was a town. Very hard to understand person. The breakfast staff were very friendly and very attentive to keeping area clean and fully stocked.

The property was well kept and the staff was excellent. They really stayed on top of everything. Joanna at the front desk was phenomenal and made the stay very enjoyable.

There's a train that runs all night right next to the hotel. So noisy

This hotel is quiet, clean, comfortable, with a good breakfast znd a friendly and accommodating staff. There's plenty of decent parking and the location is great - halfway between Akron and the Cuyahoga Falls National Park.

Clean property and great value. Very near the Blossom Music Center, which was our reason for the overnight stay.

Hotel was within great proximity of many restaurants and close to the National Park. Beds were comfortable and staff is great. Would definitely recommend.

It was exactly what I needed for a single-night stay. Close to restaurants and easy access to the highway.

Breakfast staff was great and fresh baked goods on breakfast bar were very good. It's an older hotel but quite comfortable at a great rate. Room was clean.

From the moment we stepped into the front door everything was absolutely perfect. Friendly helpful desk staff, clean room, comfortable bed, great shower and best hotel breakfast we had on our travels!

The property is in need of updating and maintenance, which was in-progress during our stay. Future guests will benefit from that, but the property was very worn when we stayed. The breakfast was not well-supplied (milk only available on request, and then they only had chocolate… for cereal!?).
