Long Island Marriott Hotel

The staff tried to bill me for the breakfast that was included in my reservation. I had to show the clerk the reservation email on my phone to prove that I had already paid for breakfast when presented with a bill at the breakfast table. The minibar in the snacks-for-purchase area in the lobby had 5-6 brands of 375ml bottles of wine, and one type of NA beer, but nothing otherwise *single* serving, and no beer, which I thought was silly. Bed was extremely soft, to the point where I sat on the edge and the mattress sort-of tipped off of the bed. It was perfectly fine, but not luxury. My room was very quiet, which I appreciated.

They should have an express desk for pre- checks only. If you are pre-checked you shouldn't have to wait in line again after you already waited in a line earlier to check in.

Overall it was great except the toilet was running and the fridge had a whining sound. Fixed when I unplugged it.

This hotel is rundown. Our room smelled like a cigarette and the beds are only full size. It was a lot of money for little comfort.
