This was our second stay at a the Belvedere and we would go back. Our biggest issue the second time was there was a little mold in the shower, not much but it was visible. Also, strange that there was a microwave and fridge but no coffee maker.

Great location, helpful staff, old building with less than clean rooms, air conditioning worked well, overall positive experience.

Our room had a roach crawling up the wall. To get ice you had to go down into an old dining room and get ice from behind the bar. The room two doors down had police tape sealing the door. Not very cleanly. Barely passed as a place to sleep. Definitely the worst place I’ve stayed at in NYC.

Big room ( for New York) and nice bathroom. The lighting was dim though.

Quality hotel that retains it's 1926 charm, yet with all the conveniences and cleaniness of today. It is their 100th anniversary -complete with free treats. Super helpful and efficient staff. Location ideal. Place feels very safe for a single female traveler; lots of families in lobby, and doormen look out for you.
