The hotel was clean and the breakfast prep staff was great. The amount of parking around the hotel seemed just adequate for the number of people staying there. We had to search a little bit for an open space when arriving to the hotel later into the evening.

The hotel is located in a great area, with easy access to shopping and restaurants. However, I was surprised how run down the property was for it being a Hilton property. Our room was spacious, but not throughly clean. Wallpaper is peeling off the wall, paint chipping away. Dirt and grime in the corners. The staff was a very friendly and the breakfast was good for a hotel continental breakfast. The hotel also only had one working elevator, which even that one working elevator was a bit sketchy and rough looking. Overall, it served our purpose well for our 2-night stay.

Great overnight stay as we were passing through. Very pet friendly, staff even gave us a pup goodie bag upon check in and were very kind. Felt safe and beautiful mountain views behind the hotel. Lots of food and shopping in the area.

Friendly staff and good breakfast buffet- eggs, waffles, tamales, fruit, etc. in a comfortable dining area. Easy parking. Walking distance to Uptown Mall, Trader Joes and more. I've stayed here before, but this is the first time I heard dogs whining in this dog friendly facility. Next time will request a room away from pets as it's sad to listen to lonely dogs. Great deal for the price- we stayed in 1 bedroom suite with king bed.

The best way to describe the hotel is grimy, not kept up, dirty, dingy, disgusting and unkept. All the hotel staff were very nice. However, I was nervous to even walk on the carpet in socks given the stains and grime on the floor. Our room had several things either broken or damaged. Overall would not recommend.

I love the location of this hotel! There is so much within walking distance that this is my family’s favorite location to stay. We had a two bedroom room and it was decent amount of space. The beds were comfortable. The tv’s were old and not very good quality. The carpets are stained and look like they could be cleaned. The breakfast was excellent! We were able to make breakfast taco with carnitas and they were delicious. The only real problem we had with the hotel, was that we found two bed bugs. One on my son and one in the bed. 😞 We hightailed it out of there. I let the front desk know and after everything was said and done, the room was refunded for our nights stay. That is excellent customer service seeing as I booked through a third party (Expedia).

Staff who checked us in at the front desk was very friendly to us, including our kids, and I loved about it! The only thing I wish it was different was the cleanliness of the carpeting in the guest room we stayed in. I understand this facility is a pet friendly facility, however, there were many vidible stains and sticky spots on the carpeted floor which I wish they weren't there.

Homewood Suits Albuquerque Uptown has always been my go to hotel for trips. The breakfast is amazing and the staff and grounds look and feel safe. However, I was really surprised how dated the hotel looked on my recent visit. As soon as I opened the door the room it had a really bad odor. It reminded me of the smell that greets you when you walk into a Goodwill (body oils and old furniture). The furniture was tattered and had no firmness, and also had a strong odor. The bed sheets smelled like body oils and were worn out. The tack strip on the carpet was exposed and caused a lot of pain if you forgot to step over it. The chairs in the breakfast area are old, unstable, and have depressions in the cushions from all the use. The place desperately needs an update. I was disappointed because I paid more to stay at the Homewood versus the surrounding hotels. Until, they undergo a remold I will have to stay elsewhere.

While planning our visit, I looked through many hotel reviews. We wanted to ensure we were in a safe location and close to the interstate. We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel. Nice room, good variety for breakfast, and close to shopping/dining options. Downside were the pillows were pancakes and shower did not have a liner.

I would stay there again because it was nice to have two rooms and a little bit of space. Also the location in uptown is great. I will say however that the hotel was very crowded, the carpets and furniture was stained and very worn and overall everything had a dingy feel. For $200 a night it seems that it could have been cleaner. On the positive side, I will say that we slept very well and the beds were super comfortable. And yes I would probably stay there again because it's nice to have a suite with two bedrooms.

We usually stay here when we are in Albuquerque and we usually have a great stay. The room we got this time didn’t feel clean and my daughter noticed a cockroach late at night while she was watching TV. The shower was bizarre. Just a thin curtain that didn’t sufficiently stop water from leaking all over the bathroom floor.

It was really spacious and had a lot of room for my sister and mom. But the air conditioner was in my room and was so loud when it would turn on or off and couldn’t sleep. Light in bathroom kept flickering. Sofa was old and would sink in, so did kitchen chairs. They were very uncomfortable. Other than that it was nice.

I called and asked if I could get my room cleaned and they told me no that I had to make a reservation the night before. So the entire time I was there nothing had been cleaned up or changed. The elevator sounded like it was gonna break down anytime.

Crumbling walls. Nobody at front desk for checkout. Barking dogs in room across the hall. Handicap door push button didn’t work at front entrance. I have to wait 3 to 5 working days to get my “required” $50 deposit for incidentals (what incidentals ? There is no mini bar anything you can charge to your room). To be fair, the included breakfast was better than most. I had stayed at this hotel years past, it is now going downhill and needs repairs. Now in the budget hotel category.

Checked in around 5:30PM, given a key, got to the room and maids were still cleaning the room and not ready. Had to go back and get reassigned to a different room. made a snack purchase with credit card and not given a receipt, lobby person said they do not give out receipts, odd! Next morning the room coffee pot did not work. Would I stay there again, no way.....

We tend to stay at Homewood Suites when we travel in the US, and typically have great experiences. This specific one seems to be an outlier, but not in a good way. The staff we encountered all seemed to hate life, and it showed in their absolute apathy and lack of any personality. The property could use a refresh, as everything seemed old and due for replacement. The breakfast offerings were probably the worst I have encountered at any Hilton property I’ve stayed at. No real variety, almost all carb-heavy, bland, and dry. I’m still convinced the “eggs” were the cause of our unsettled stomachs. The location itself was good, which garnered the extra star, but I likely won’t stay at this specific Homewood Suites next time I’m in Albuquerque.

I really liked the location of this hotel. The neighborhood felt safe and it was easy to get to. I loved how pet friendly the place was, unlike any other hotel weve been to. They even had a "doggy bag" for our pup with a little toy, treats, waste bags and a print out of anything you could possibly need for your dog (vet info, pet supplies). The breakfast was amazing! There was an awesome oatmeal station and a waffle station. We loved this place so much we booked it again for on our way back from Vegas. This will probably be our stopping spot for trips to Vegas. On our 2nd stay I was approached by a woman in a van wanting money...I know this happens everywhere. But it wasnt difficult to get her to leave. The staff here were also extremely nice and pleasant. The rooms are a perfect size and I love the full size fridge.
