The front desk lady was very polite and helpful. The room was clean. The cons were the parking lot & signage was very poorly lit, so dark we barely found it as it was night when we arrived. That should really be addressed.

The hotel does not have a hot tub any more. All the staff smelled like weed. ( I had not idea if it was staff working or just friend hanging out with them) None of the elevators had been cleaned - touch points, floors were washed I was impressed that we did get to check in early, because it boarder was not backed up like they said to expect delays...so that was a bonus. We have been going for years and the hotel definingly has been going down hill in my opinion The pool area has been repainted but the company didn't even clean off the areas that was over sprayed - so the brown colour looks like mud over walls and on shower area. I don't think we will be coming back. thank you Canadians that still come to support your economy

The floor was not vacuumed. A big yellow stain on the blanket on the bed. Also the luggage rack on the wall next to the tv fell of the wall when I put my bag on it. Lucky I was not injured with it. The drapery was falling down.The whole hotel is old and needs to be updated. The side door to the side parking lot was not secure, open all night. I was in 103 on the ground level and anyone could have entered through that door. No milk on the breakfast bar and no bread for toast.I will not stay there again.

I stayed one night. I opened the bed and the sheet looked like black mold. I asked for someone to bring new sheets. I was told I had to go to the desk and get new sheets and make up my own bed. I went to breakfast at 9:40. Some food was all gone and they would not bring out more food because it was “too late”. Carpet in my room had not been vacuumed, crumbs/ dirt all over. Cobwebs and ceiling dirty too. I asked for a concession on the room fee but the lady at night couldn’t do that and I just left a bit frustrated in the morning.

This Comfort Inn was the worst one that I've ever stayed at! It wasn't updated in any way and overall was dirty. Just really nasty. We would have left if we weren't already going to a booked concert that evening and too late arriving back to stay somewhere else. Avoid at all costs!

Room wasn't ready on time had to wait until 6pm for it to be cleaned. Person working had there kid there riding a bike in the lobby. Pool was freezing couldn't swim in it. North side door to get in doesn't lock. The room was facing noisy backup traffic to get on the bridge semi noise honking all night. Room dirty. Electrical outlet doesn't work. Look under sheets mattress stained nasty. Wouldn't stay there again. Seemed people hiding in strange spots outside north side of building.Not worth 167 a night what I paid. Stay somewhere else safer.

The pool was nice, but the carpet in the room had nasty spots on it and there was a small spot on the bedspread that looked like blood. Hearing the guests talk about all the bugs, dead and alive was quite alarming. The receptionist at the front desk didn't know how to smile and made you feel unwelcomed. I won't be back.

The room wasn't clean. The bed was made. Found a piece of toast on the carpet by the bed. Dust on the dresser. Food crumbs on the table. The curtain was part way down. I always stay here. This is the first time this has happened. And no microwave in my king size room. The microwave is a deal breaker for me. Manager said she would see about getting me one but it never happened. I won't stay in a place that has no microwave or fridge.

Monday morning there were very few items available for what was supposed to be a full breakfast. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Would not recommend this place! Still trying to get the double charge on my card corrected. WiFi is pretty much non existent. The “breakfast” haha coffee pots were empty ,eggs were gone, sausage was cold, donuts were old. When brought to the attention of the front staff she chose to go outside for a smoke rather than address the issues. Very disappointing, would not stay here again.

Close to the entrance to the international bridge crossing to Sarnia, Canada. Trouble with desk service. Delay in response to a room lock that did not lock upon leaving room. When confronted with manager, he checked availability and upgraded to us a suite.

This is a terrible hotel in disrepair, drive further and do yourself a huge favor. There is nothing good about this place. Unfriendly staff, keys will only work for one day and have to go down to front desk to get new keys, but first you have to find the front desk person outside smoking, then they will tell you everyday you cannot put the door key by your phone, it will deactivate it, everyone knows every time housekeeper opens your door it deactivates your key 🙁

When we arrived they had no record of our reservation made on Expedia 2 weeks ago. After some time the found just a room. When we went to use pool they stated they had no pool towels as the gave to the kids ( hockey team) she then reluctantly found us some towels. The kids were screaming and running around all over in pool area. Staff was just sitting out on smoking patio with what appeared to be friends. We stayed in pool for 5 minutes as we were just surrounded by poorly behaving, cursing children. We were woken very early by kids playing in hallway. We were very dissatisfied and disappointed with this stay. We have being staying at this hotel for years when we come stateside shopping. We will not stay here again

They messed up our reservation. The lady at the front desk said, it wasn't her fault, and didn't care to fix it. Her answer was just, I didn't do it and we cant fix it. Our entire weekend was almost ruined. Finally after a while she decided to see if their sister hotel could take us. We got moved over there so that they could honor our reservation for two king beds. The guy there was SO much nicer, and made out stay much better.

I was greeted within 1 minute and the person was very informative and polite. When I stepped out for dinner, the woman at the desk asked how my room was since she wanted to make sure my stay started off right. I liked that.

There was never anyone at the front desk. They were always outside smoking and you had to call the front desk and they would come in from the lot. The HVAC just ran no way to control it the controls on the unit appeared broken. I will say the room was extremely clean with the exception of the upolstered chair which could use a good steam cleaning. The hotel was quiet making it easy to rest.

Came off blue Water Intl bridge from Sarnia. ZERO SIGNS to find drive entry to motel. Ended up lost then back on bridge through duty free lot and forced to cross bridge again. Took 3 hours to cross bridge and return courtesy of USA customs. And double bridge tolls. Very very unnecessary and we're super crabby. POST SIGNS FOR ROUTE TO HOTEL OFF BRIDGE. Driving through unmarked routes through empty lots amid closed businesses was not an obvious choice. Neither was driving an unmarked behind a gas station or Wendy's. Dreadful.

I stayed one night. I opened the bed and the sheet looked like black mold. I asked for someone to bring new sheets. I was told I had to go to the desk and get new sheets and make up my own bed. I went to breakfast at 9:40. Some food was all gone and they would not bring out more food because it was “too late”. Carpet in my room had not been vacuumed, crumbs/ dirt all over. Cobwebs and ceiling dirty too. I asked for a concession on the room fee but the lady at night couldn’t do that and I just left a bit frustrated in the morning.

Would not recommend this place! Still trying to get the double charge on my card corrected. WiFi is pretty much non existent. The “breakfast” haha coffee pots were empty ,eggs were gone, sausage was cold, donuts were old. When brought to the attention of the front staff she chose to go outside for a smoke rather than address the issues. Very disappointing, would not stay here again.

The room was clean and beautiful. I would change where the coffee maker was though. I had to climb under the desk to plug it in and it was so far from the water source. Overall, very pleased with our stay. Great breakfast too!

MY ROOM HAD TWO DOORS AND ONE HAD A BROK.N SECURITY LOCK?? THE JACUZI WAS VERY NICE, BUT THE TV IN THE BEDROOM WAS BROKEN AND NEVER WORKED DUING MY STAY. breakfast was just ok. no a/c in common areas. rooms are cleaned every three days. we asked for room to be for clean towels. not done. went to the front desk and was told they found one in the dryer and other was a stained one, but clean. key had to be reprogrammed 3 times because they need a new machine. staff was very courteous.

The property seemed older but clean. The best thing was the girl at the front desk. She was friendly and knowledgable. The worst was the breakfast. The round flat egg things did not taste good and I’m not sure what the meat was however, the staff kept everything full and clean.

The hallways on the third floor were a little whiffy. The room was without any odor. The shower was great. Clean and the best water pressure. We appreciated the breakfast offerings as well.
