Breakfast was good. Staff was overworked, so the service was slow. Hotel was badly outdated. The pool was closed for repairs, our sink was clogged, our first room had sheets that were tore and stained. All in all, probably met the expectations for the price paid.

The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to please you! The parking lot is terrible and has been for years. The patch was fixed 2 years ago still haven't fixed it. Need to redo the whole parking lot - start from the beginning and do it right!

This property had a very serious safety issue as it would sporadically not level with the floor. I brought this to the attention of management and finally they agreed to put up a very inconspicuous warning sign. Not the Best Western I had enjoyed when taking family vacation as a child. Room smelled moldy on top of everything else. Nightly drinking parties just across from the front entrance made us very uncomfortable. We will never again consider staying at the chain formerly known as Best Western.

The pool was disgusting!! Hair and a film on the water!! The staff didn’t know how to check us in?? It took 35 min to check in and they charged me another 35$ for what? I don’t know. It was terrible

I was happy I called prior to our visit because for some reason they did not have my 2 rooms reserved they only had one. Our visit was very nice, the pool was nice the elevator was very scary when it reaches the first floor it jumps and very slow. It was located very close to the soccer field

This hotel was the dirtiest and most disgusting hotel I have ever seen. Just filthy right from the libby to the room. The breakfast was awful and late. Save yourself some aggrevation and look for a different hotel.

The stay itself was fine. The room was just dirty. There was a piece of hard candy hardened to the carpet in our room, looked like someone used the curtains to wipe their hands instead of a napkin (it was red, so we thought maybe it was blood…hubby was brave enough to get close and look…it was ketchup) the shower curtain in the bathroom was dirty. Collectively it left a “ick” feeling. The sheets/linens Best Western uses seem old. The pool was way over crowded. Parking and check in were easy. Staff was great. Typical free continental/hotel breakfast. Internet worked fine. The hotel was loud and no one was even trying to control it. Doors slamming. Kids running up and down the hall. The smoke alarm beeped all night in the hallway. (Floor 3)

The good: Staff was very friendly and the check in was fast. The breakfast was surprisingly good. Nothing to sing songs about, it’s still a hotel breakfast after all, but there was a waffle maker to make fresh waffles, yogurts, breakfast sausages, eggs, bagels, muffins, roast, cereal, and more. Overall, it’s probably what I liked best about our stay. The bad: they were renovating while we were there, but everything still looked really run down. The pictures online were deceiving and I had expected something very different. Our room was insanely dirty. Stain on the blanket, sticky door handles, sooo much dust. There was a thick layer of dust on the headboard which tells me it has been a good while since it was last cleaned. Dust on shelves, dust in lamps, etc. big spider webs along the walls,.. lastly, aside from scruffs and some damages in the ceiling, there was also a damaged shower faucet, damaged “closet” shelf that made it nearly impossible to hang things, etc.. While the noise level was good and we did not feel bothered or had to hear loud noises from guests or repairs while we were there, there was definitely some heavy smoking going on in the rooms near us. We smelled it the entire time, especially in the hallway and bathroom. We didn’t request a new room. We had just come from a long 5 hour drive and had to rush to get changed and go to a wedding. But in any other situation, I would have requested another room.

The room they gave me had bed bugs. I woke up at 1:00am with bites all over me. I went to the hospital and I was told they were bed bugs bites. The hotel refunded my money but I'm not a happy person about it all. My trip was ruined

Room smelled horribly of smoke (signs everywhere saying it’s smoke free). Nothing was clean - stained towel in bathroom, hairs on floor & in shower, lobby for breakfast was a mess while manager & worker spoke about how dirty it was cussing as if nobody was around. Pastries they had out were rock hard, instant coffee machine. Both of us that stayed here got sick (seemingly norovirus) & took it home to our families. Just an embarrassment for the owner/any staff at this place. Terribly overpriced because they know there isn’t much of a choice on the US side of border. DONT stay here… if you have option, stay in Sarnia on Canadian side; much cleaner & better priced options. $150 I’ll unfortunately never get back… if this hotel was priced at $75 for a night that would still be too much.

We asked for another room because the room they gave us smelled awful, and the floors were sticky and dirty. Also was a double bed and we booked a king bed.The elevator was faulty as the hydraulics banged and thumped three times before the door opened and it was questionable as to whether or not the door was going to open.

Horrible. The “river” view is a drainage ditch that you can’t see from the overgrown bushes and trees. Kids above us running the halls at 4am, it sounded like bowling balls. I got the worst night of sleep I’ve ever had. People drinking and playing corn hole in the parking lot, as well as smoking pot out the emergency doors and leaving joints and joint tubes all over the premises. No one cared when we called the front desk at 6:30am as it was still happening. We packed up and left right away. All I got was an I’m sorry ma’am.

Nice, The view of the wetland was good. The bed was too high for a room designated as accessible on the website. Someone more disabled would not have been able to get on the bed. I had a very difficult time. The TV had no signal & was too tired to deal with it.

I stayed for 2 nights and both days were great. My room was clean, spacious,well stocked and comfortable. Check in was quick and easy. Pool is a nice area well stocked. Breakfast was good lot's of choices eggs,bacon,potatoes, waffles, cereal, bagels, danishes, coffee,milk,juices and clean eating spaces.i felt safe and had a view of the river

Staff on all shifts were very friendly and cooperative when I needed assistance or had questions Morning breakfast was good and served the purpose Shower needs an additional grab bar for safety purposes as the tub was very slippery -- drain in the sink to not flow and when reported to staff they noted it and would make adjustments -- light bulb over bathroom sink had burnt out light bulb making the area too dark---these little things were annoying but the staff on duty made note and a promised to fix Bedroom was clean and mattress was excellent for sleep Computer hook up was easy to accomplish and the strength of signal was very good Stay was vexcellent

We requested a late checkout and at 8:15 one of the staff came unannounced (as in didn’t knock on the door) and ACTUALLY opened it till it hit the flip lock…. So we went downstairs shortly after and I asked what the deal was and she said they didn’t put our paper in the right place and so it was assumed we wer checked out. 😒😒😒. So obviously it didn’t get marked for the late checkout. Then about 2 hours later someone came to the door trying to come and clean again. 😒Definitely poor communication between the staff. Breakfast also lacked extremely. The eggs we dried up, and the other options were pretty limited.

Needed a place to spend the night as we were traveling home from vacation in Canada in route to Indianapolis. Checked in @8p and Ronald’s customer service was the best! He recommended a place for dinner. The hotel is very clean and has a very nice breakfast included. Slept well. I loved that the vanity is outside of the toilet & shower.

Made a reservation for suite oversized room. Arrived and given key to room, would not open. Room was occupied. Given another room but again was not available. Given another room and was able to enter. This was not an oversized room. Excepted because we were exhausted but…toilet would not flush. Off to another room. Clerks was very apologetic and nice throughout debacle. Bottom line we did not receive the room we reserved and paid for. Probably will not use BW in the future.

Hotel room was clean, breakfast was great. Veronica and Roger were kind, welcoming and made our stay like home. My spouse lost her earring in the pool, and Veronica's adorable daughter jumped in the pool to find it for her. Absolutely amazing service! We will be back next summer for sure.

Actually thought we made a reservation at a different hotel but realized it was BW Port Huron. We were greatly impressed about everything. The customer service Cleanliness and comfort was perfect.. Price of the room was affordable too. Will definitely be back.

Rundown hotel that’s getting something of a facelift. Parking lot is a crumbled blacktop mess. Elevator will not crash despite the noise it makes. Room was quiet and had necessities. Breakfast was great. Plenty to choose from and good food.

The parking lot paving and entrance didn’t look good. If didn’t have a reservation we’d have kept going. Inside the carpet at the elevator was tread bare. Our room was clean and comfortable however there were old stains on the white sheets on one of the beds. We went to breakfast about 30 minutes before it closed to find they had run out of food and had to leave to find a restaurant.

Service at check in was great. Hotel’s main areas were a little dated, but seem to be in the process of updating. Room was very comfortable and clean. Shower was great. Coffee but no coffee cups were provided in our room, but coffee is available in the lobby. Breakfast was very nice though some items needed to be refilled. Overall a very pleasant stay.
