Very friendly and accomodating staff!! Very nice free breakfast. Nice variety! Clean and spacious room. Nice pillows. I have only 1 complaint. They need to get the elevator fixed.

Weekends, expect to hear bass from a nearby bar. It actually was heard from 9:30-2am both Friday and Saturday. The most disappointing area was the pool. It wasn’t very clean, and it was falling apart. Tiles and other chunks of cement were in the bottom of the pool. I plan on making a formal complaint.

The stay was overall comfy but you could hear EVERYTHING from above and the halls. The room above us must have been trying to get their steps in because they did not stop for HOURS. The rooms were really nice but you can see items that looked well used and needed replacing but that is just nit picking. You can tell areas were updated but seemed like it was a pitiful attempt on a budget. The pool area was subpar. Definitely could use a major face lift and some intense cleaning. The breakfast area was decent and the choices were your typical options. So many sporting events were happening that weekend so the place was packed but the staff stayed on top of replacing items and making sure things were stocked. The staff was super friendly though and never made you feel like you were interrupting.

They waited until all 4 of us checked in with very large heavy suitcase and guitars to tell me the elevated was broken and we would have to carry everything up 6 flights of stairs. They also said they couldn’t hold any luggage behind the desk. It was 1am. We left They denied the refund request with Hotels.com The desk girl said it had been broken for days

Staff were excellent. Very nice room. Hotel very clean. Only thing wrong was the elevator was out of service. The front desk was trying to get us a room on first floor. We declined and kept original room on 2nd floor. I'd recommend a stay here. We'll be sure to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at your place, although we did notice a couple of small issues. The pool drinking fountain seemed to have some mold that could use some attention, and we found that the gate outside by the old docks needed to be locked. Despite those minor things, we loved the overall experience and the convenient location near the Canadian border.

The Expedia reviews for this hotel are wildly inaccurate. The hotel was dirty and didn't seem to be cleaned regularly (spills on the floor and spiderwebs in hallways that were there the whole time). The room smelled like mold/mildew. People walking around above and in hallways was extremely loud. The bed seemed clean, but was not very comfortable. Overall our experience at this hotel did not meet the expectations set by the rating on Expedia!

Easy check in… all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was one of the best, fresh, quality of food overall was delicious. Rooms were very spacious & clean with lots of lighting options, and places to put your clothing. Shower was also very good and clean and plenty of hot water.

Everything was perfect for our stay. The room was extremely clean and we had an amazing view. Loved watching all of the different kinds of birds. Thankful that we had a refrigerator and a microwave in our room. The staff at the hotel were all so friendly and kind! Will definitely be back!

The toilet, microwave and fridge were very dirty. I spoke with the front desk they offered no room change or upgrade. Cleaned the microwave and toilet myself with the hotels products as they didn’t even offer someone to come clean it. Very frustrating.

Hotel isn't what it used to be. It could use some maintenance. The carpet in the room was stained everywhere and looked filthy. The tub faucet was leaking excessively. the room itself didn't seem the cleanest. Staff didn't seem overly helpful. Asked for a different room since I would be there 5 nights and none were available.

Room was updated, with a very comfortable king size bed, thermostat and glass door walk-in shower. Room was very clean with none of those "walk in hit ya" smells. Breakfast was the usual, but the lady was always out, refilling and replacing items which was nice. I would stay here again.

Hotel is clean, breakfast is good… however, my son and I did not get the room we booked because the hotel was overbooked. We wanted two queen beds… and instead were given an “upgraded room” with a king bed and a jacuzzi tub. I can see how that would be an upgrade in certain situations.. but not ours! The room we were given was on the first floor and close to the elevator and elevator mechanical room which was very LOUD. All night. We requested room change for the second night and even though the hotel was fully booked, they accommodated our request. Thankfully!! I highly recommend requesting a room far away from the elevator as the “ding” it makes each time it arrives at your floor is extremely loud and the elevator mechanical room on the first floor is very loud too.

Hotel was clean, only 1 very busy person on the check in desk. We got a free upgrade to a jacuzzi room on the first floor which was lovely. But the blind/divider between the jacuzzi and the bedroom was missing. That meant zero privacy if using the loo, and having to keep the outer blinds down to avoid a peep show when showering or using the toilet when we needed the lights on. Not something I’d recommend

We were SO impressed with how sleek, up to date the room furnishings/ tech was. The shower area was excellent. The room spacious and the King bed very comfortable. There was some noticable noises from the hall and other rooms. But our overall assessment was that it made us consider more Holiday Inns in the future.

The stay was overall comfy but you could hear EVERYTHING from above and the halls. The room above us must have been trying to get their steps in because they did not stop for HOURS. The rooms were really nice but you can see items that looked well used and needed replacing but that is just nit picking. You can tell areas were updated but seemed like it was a pitiful attempt on a budget. The pool area was subpar. Definitely could use a major face lift and some intense cleaning. The breakfast area was decent and the choices were your typical options. So many sporting events were happening that weekend so the place was packed but the staff stayed on top of replacing items and making sure things were stocked. The staff was super friendly though and never made you feel like you were interrupting.

Very friendly man at check in. I had requested not the ground floor and had called the hotel to ask about that. I mentioned to the girl that the last time we stayed there we had a view of the bridge which the grandkids loved so she made sure we had a room with a great view. Internet didn’t work the greatest

We came from across state for a wedding, and was unable to check in for almost an hour past the 3pm check in time. Front desk workers (supposedly the GM?) were not accommodating, didn’t offer anything for us for not being able to check in on time and just said “sorry we were completely booked last night, it’s not our fault”. We don’t understand how that is our fault. Room wasn’t clean either. Wouldn’t recommend staying here

The hotel is nice and updated. Breakfast was great. Hotel was quiet. Staff could just use some more training as we had issues with check-in and charges to multiple cards that we are still dealing with. This kind of soured the experience.

Very friendly and helpful front desk staff, funny and kind housekeeper, clean and comfortable room, reasonable rates, and most importantly, very comfortable beds! As one who suffers from chronic back issues, I dread hotel beds, but these beds were wonderful. Would definitely stay there again if I'm in the area! Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay with you. We were attending a function just over the river and the bridge was not far and it was an easy drive. The view is awesome. We were there in February and the marina was just out side which gave us a great view of the river. Just might have to check it out in the summer. Staff was great, breakfast was great. Perfect place to stay for a night, a weekend or even a week. Thumbs up on this stay.

We got there late, check-in was quick, had great view of the boatyard, breakfast was great had plenty of options. Too bad that the ghostly looking boat yard is not in operation, what a great venue it would be. Not far from historic downtown Port Huron. Would stay here again.
