Beautiful hotel! The room was spacious and quiet. The beds were super comfy. The pool was warm. The best part was the convenience of the Delta terminal in the morning. We will be staying here before every flight out of Detroit!

Staff at front desk were professional but not very welcoming. Staff at restaurants were very pleasant and approachable. Room had some wear and tear. Unfortunately swimming pool was under renovations.

This is a gem of a hotel! Of course, the convenience factor (inside terminal, with it's own hotel TSA line) is incredible, and certainly was the reason we booked the stopover. However, the amenities of the hotel are impeccable. The atrium lobby is stunning. The restaurant and bar have a wonderful atmosphere and provide extended food and beverage hours. The fitness center is top of the line and overlooks the gates of the airport. We will certainly stay here again!

Stay at this hotel whenever I have an early flight from DTW, the hotel has its own TSA check point that puts you right out into the terminal, this check point opens at 5am

Hotel and staff were great, but the property is way too large and signage was confusing. Also, staff should’ve asked both during making reservations and during check-in which airline we were flying out of. Turns out we were in another terminal miles from the one Westin is in. Didn’t find out until we went through security and couldn’t dind our terminal. Nearly missed our flight.

The hotel its self has very little dining options with limited menus. The plus side is that you can get a pass to enter the airport where dining options are unlimited.

The only thing that needs improvement is the parking. Other than that this is an amazing place to stay. Walking distance to delta airlines. A quick shuttle to all other airports. I was extremely satisfied

Be warned - the price of the room has doubled since 2019 - this property used to include valet parking with your room rental. There are no signs indicating that parking is now additional - we spent 13 hours on property and with two hamburgers and a bottle of wine , parking and room the cost was $950 CAN - will never go back and it’s a shame I used to love the convenience! I feel like the victim of a bait and switch scheme.

This was my second time staying at the Westin at DTW. Service was exceptional. Every employee I ran into was polite and helpful. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and comfortable here. I can't say enough about the front desk guy (wish I caught his name to give him a shout out) who helped me check in very early AM after a mishap on my end with booking online. The bed was super cozy and the room was immaculate. Would 100% stay again.

Clean, modern, well maintained rooms. Very comfortable bed and excellent shower. Room service was delicious and delivered on time, hot and plentiful. Didn't have time to explore the gym or pool facilities. Beautiful hotel and perfect for early morning flights. Will stay again next time we have a flight out of Detroit.

There was a tray of dried out food left under the sofa by a previous guest. One of the two drink glasses was missing, and there was trash left in the garbage can by a previous guest. So disappointed! I asked for Lysol and ensure the room was half-clean and received some discount bottle of disinfectant.

The noise from the room next door was outrageous… Crying baby all night long plus very active parents. Wildly uncomfortable as I was traveling with my 3 young children. If you’re looking for a good night sleep this is not the right place.

We were stuck in the Detroit airport overnight unexpectedly. Our stay at the Westin was incredible! From the food in the bar at midnight to the unbelievably comfortable bed, the stay was wonderful. They have a security check point at the exit of the hotel into the airport which made for a very smooth morning.

We checked into the Westin at the Detroit airport because we had several hours before our flight and needed a bit of rest. We had just dropped our son off at college and it was an emotional goodbye. I was teary-eyed and the woman who checked us in was an absolute angel. She said the sweetest words to cheer me.

Been standing at desk for over an hour and they cannot check me in… trying to bill my card for entire reservation when it is prepaid… It shouldn’t be this hard when you pay $400 for a room for the convenience and I would have been better off renting car and driving to downtown than getting a room at the airport… kept telling me they did not have payment from Expedia worst experience ever!!!

We arrive late because of a flight and we felt at check in like we were disturbing the employee. No information about the hotel were given to us, she also asked us for a security deposit without giving the amount or any explanation. The bed was old and uncomfortable. Won’t go back to this hotel, for the price it’s not worth it.

Every single member of staff we encountered was incredibly kind and helpful. The service we received was absolutely incredible. The food at the Lounge was delicious and service again was fantastic!! Shuttle driver was a joy. The costs are all high for this accommodation, food, and parking but the ease and staff made up for some of this. Westin DTW staff you are all doing a fantastic job please don’t change a thing.

This was the perfect hotel for a quick layover in Detroit. I didn't have to go through loops to catch an Uber with luggage. I literally wheeled my luggage to the lobby and the bellman did everything else. It's conveniently located inside the airport.

It’s a great hotel with comfy beds but not convenient when you fly Southwest. I thought staying at the airport would be an easy start to our early flight but we had to catch a bus to get to our terminal! I would have chosen to stay offsite and saved some money for a short stay.

The hotel itself is very good and convenient for leaving the airport when flying Delta. It’s a little pricey but that is expected. The bar area is ridiculously expensive. A Jack and ginger and a kettle one and soda we just over $28. Super weak drinks and just not worth it.
