Within walking distance to casino. It is an older hotel that is just in descent shape. No elevator. No pool. Beds were clean and comfortable. Hot breakfast was good. Eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles and more. Would not let babies crawl around. Perfect if you come to town to gamble.

The front desk staff was polite, room was very clean and comfortable, surprisingly quiet even though it is next to a casino. It had a very good breakfast. I do think it would be nice if they had an elevator. I didn't love walking up the stairs with all my luggage.

Definitely great place to stay if you are going to Firekeepers Casino. There is a shuttle that will take you to the casino and bring you back to the hotel, which was so convenient.

The only problem was that it was a two story hotel that DID NOT have an elevator. I had a shoulder surgery in January that didn’t allow me to carry luggage up two flights of stairs. (Please make note of lack of elevators in listings. ). Front Desk staff found another room for me on the first floor without a problem!

Layout of hotel was difficult to navigate. Finding my room was a challenge since there were so many hallways. Parking was convenient, but the parking lot needs repair. Close to casino, if that's your preference. Free breakfast was a plus, with lots to offer, by way of food choice. Rooms were clean and comfortable, only wish there were larger TV screens.

The property is a little aged, but it was in pretty good condition. The staff that checked us in and waited on us in the attached restaurant were very nice. The food in the restaurant was very good. If you like to gamble the casino is next door and there is a shuttle service available. The only complaint was that there was a strong scent of weed coming from their pool hall the first night. My buddy said he smelled weed in the hotel the next morning.

Close to casino and a great value. The place was clean. The staff were great including the van driver who will transport you to the casino back and forth until 2:00 am. Breakfast is included. They have an onsite seafood restaurant but we didn’t try it.

This is an old motel. Biggest problem was is the water isn't purified. It's WELL WATER! Tasted like iron and smell of sulphur. Toilet, sink and shower were brown stained. And we were a large wedding party. 3 we're nauseated and had explosive diarrhea. Some went to casino to take a shower where others stayed. I thought minimal standards are to at least have a filtration system when using well water. A.C. had a whining bearing that when the compressor kicked on, it sang. Difficult to sleep with that shine. Free breakfast was ok but we all laiat the bacon. It was so paper thin and crumpled while taking a bite. We'll never stay here again but all future stayers need to know this important issue. THERES NO ELEVATOR! So you have to use stairs to get up to second floor. If Expedia were smart in reading these reviews I'd drop this facility from it's site.

The hotel markets themselves as being "next to the casino" to attract bookings. Although it is in very close proximity, the property has not benefitted from the prosperous, near-casino location. The rooms and lobby haven't been updated since the 90's. There is a weird smoky smell that wafts through the halls even though the rooms are non-smoking. There was mold around the tub, peeling paint, a window-style air conditioner, a microwave with a dial vs. buttons and an iron so old it no longer heated up. In addition, the hotel uses well water vs. city water; which smells like sulphuric acid. The walls are very thin so expect to be kept awake hearing your neighbor's TV or full conversation if you stay here.

Property was ok. Room was non-smoking but the hallways smelled of stale smoke and when we returned for the evening the hallway reeked of marijuana. The room was clean but the pillows were too small for the king sized bed. The lighting was very poor in the whole room and especially the bathroom and over the sink/mirror.

Checked in quickly which was great after a long drive. Brought my bag and computer for an overnight stay. Went to sit at the desk and found a noticeable white bodily fluid stain on the seat of the chair. Lamps were dusty and the shower was not clean. In addition the carpet was coming up. Vending machine for soda was not accepting cash or credit card. Neighbors could also be heard through the wall, talking and what not. Overall I’d rather pay the extra $10 and stay at FireKeepers next door.

I woke up itching only to see bed bugs in the bed 3 of them to be exact . I alerted staff the manager came to check out my bed, only to tell me that those weren’t bed bugs , also she collected all 3 specks for investigation. I asked her why was she collecting the if she was so confident that they weren’t bed bugs ? I was told that I was welcomed to leave . Like ok I didn’t know I was welcomed to leave because I thought I was being held hostage 🙄. Room 105 has bed bugs period ants as well rolling all over the bathroom floor.

My husband and I booked a room to see a concert and do a bit of gambling at the casino next door. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They also have a shuttle that takes you to and from the casino or there is a path that you can just walk there. Free parking and free decent breakfast in the morning. There isn’t an elevator so that was one of the very few cons. Our room was nice but could use a few updates. For the price it’s excellent!

The price was right. We were in town for a wedding and we chose this place because of location and price. It really needs a face lift. The carpet is old, the wallpaper is peeling, shower needs to be redone. That said, it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and the staff was friendly. Not a bad place to stay if you are on a budget.

The room was clean and the bed was fantastic. However, the neighbors were extremely loud in the hall all hours of the night. I believe because the hotel is so close to the casino it allows for the party to continue all night long. I do admit it was extremely quiet once the people were in their rooms; it was just the hall that was noisy.

I've stayed here probably a dozen times and the only complaint would be the t.v. is too small. Beds are really comfortable and service is good. This time the shower didn't work. Made for a bad start to a day of driving.

I accidentally booked the wrong day and they would not just change it to the day I needed. I even paid extra for insurance. I had to pay for an extra day instead. Hotel was clean but could use some upgrades.

Front desk staff was very welcoming and let us know all the basics about the property and the path to the casino/shuttle schedule. Room was spacious and clean, comfortable beds. Was staying here for a wedding 30 minutes away. Breakfast ladies were constantly refilling and cleaning tables and counter areas. Would stay again, nice hidden gem.

It was a great location next to the casino. The lady who checked us in was rude and we missed the breakfast because it was the 3rd of July and breakfast ends earlier on weekdays, kind of confusing because it was the holiday. The lady was rude about it

The check in was seamless and easy, everything was in great condition, fridge and micro, iron, hairdryer and coffee maker was in the room. The breakfast in the morning was a big decider on which hotel to stay at in the area. No complaints at all, id stay again.
