Hotel Mazarin earns strong praise for its unbeatable French Quarter location and welcoming staff, while quieter courtyard rooms, charming courtyards, and handy bars balance recurring complaints about musty rooms, occasional noise, spotty Wi-Fi, and costly valet parking.

Friendly and helpful staff! Property is in close proximity to Bourbon St. so you will get a lot of residual noise from police and ambulance sirens entering and exiting the area.

We stayed at Hotel Mazarin for four nights. Everything was very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel in French Quarter and closed to all main attractions of the city. The only caveat is that if you are over 60 and suffer from arthritis, please ask for a room either on the first floor or the second. There is no elevator access to the third floor due to the phenomenal architecture of the hotel. Have pity on your aching knees and hips. Otherwise, it is an excellent place.
