We loved our stay at the Courtyard. The location is perfect. Right off Canal and one street over from Bourbon. The fact that the hotel is connected to the Ritz means you have access to the restaurants and spa of the Ritz, as well as, nightly Jazz performances at the Ritz. The decor is lovely, and the rooms are the perfect size. We had a suite with a bedroom and living area with a pull out couch which gave us two separate bedrooms at night. The bathroom was great and the shower was roomy and had good water pressure. The only downside was that the mattress was not very comfortable. The valet service was nice, and the indoor garage meant our car was safer than the outdoor parking lots of some hotels. There are a number of great restaurants within a block or two of the hotel which was nice. We would definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay if you're vacation is for exploring the area. Great location. Bar was closed and no pool. Had to cut vacation by a day due to death in family. Told no refund since booked thru Expedia.

Love the location as it was located near Bourbon St, far away from the noise but close enough to walk. Walkable distance from all the activities in the French Quarter. 24 hr lobby staff available for easy checkin/out. Ice machine station also has a microwave available. This hotel has a connecting hallway to the Ritz Carleton located on Canal Street.

The Courtyard Marriot was a perfect place to stay for Jazz Fest Weekend. It is just off Canal Street and fast walk to Bourbon St and all things NOLA. The hotel was clean and spacious. Despite the festival crowds, the hotel an oasis of calm. The room was great for our family. It had two king beds separated by the bathroom. This allowed our adult son to have a bit of privacy. The bathroom was updated and spacious. The fitness room was well stocked and had all the equipment needed. It was busy on certainly days/times. The hotel was priced appropriatedly for the Fest weekend, but the parking was very expensive ($49/day). If you are on a budget, be sure to factor that into the cost of the hotel. If you plan to use public transporation during your stay, there are cheaper public lots to store your care nearby. All in all, great hotel right in the middle of everything! Will stay there again next year.

Backed up pluming on several different days and even once we changed rooms, the new room had the same issue so I’m gonna assume it’s the hotel that has the plumbing issue and not a room by room case. Did not want to pack up and move to a third room or a new hotel so we just endured it for the last two days but it did also have an odor.

This was a beautiful, clean, quiet property which I enjoyed very much. Super walkable, safe girls only trip , and perfect location. Fitness center is awesome. Staff were friendly. Rooms were updated and nice. Bed comfortable. Wish the hot water was a lil hotter, the store downstairs is a lil pricey Motrin, Pepsi and small chips for $15 bucks And after checkout restrooms are card only entrance which is annoying but understanding . But other than that I would highly highly recommend staying here when in Nola.

There were 3 main issues, the bathroom in the room I was initially given was leaking and there was pooled water around the toilet. Then they gave me a different room that was not very clean, there was hair on one of the towels and in the shower. Then there were two employee fire drills that went on for so long and were so loud that I ended up evacuating too because I couldn’t tell if it was still the same drill or if someone had pulled the fire alarm for real. I think I could/should have been told at check-in. Do not recommend you stay here, I would not stay again.

We had a great stay and lots of fun. But.. I found a bedbug in the room and reported it with a picture. I was quickly called and informed it was not a bedbug and their team went in the room and no bedbugs were found. Except I have little trails of bites I’ve been dealing with for the week after leaving. If not for that it was a nice hotel.

This was my first time in NOLA and I will definitely stay here again. We booked a King Suite with a window. The view was a view of other rooms but it was still a clean, spacious & gorgeous room we were walking distance from Bourbon Street, & a short walk to a number of tourist spots. Definitely book!

If you want to be in the French Quarter in walking distance of just about everything this is a great choice. In fact, just a two block walk to the streetcar stop on Canal Street. On the other hand, two blocks away from Bourbon Street and it's noise. Parking is expensive but oh so convenient and always available. Too bad our room was facing Iberville St on the 4th floor so we could hear street noise if it was loud.

The beds were very comfortable. We hate the barn doors for the bathroom. It seems like all the newer hotels have them and its the stupidest thing. Everyone can hear you in there and the light wakes everyone up in the night. And to top it off, there's only a shower with a glass door so if you need to go and someones in the shower, forget about it. It was a nice place, we felt safe, great location and we loved the 2 king beds. Really the only negative is the bathroom. Tip: the bathrooms downstairs are really nice and private, go there.

My stay was wonderful. Everyone was very friendly. Shelita was always so upbeat. She seemed genuinely interested in making our stay the best it could be. She found tours for us and even booked them for us. This hotel is in walking distance of much of what New Orleans has to offer. There are excellent restaurants very near the hotel.

Excellent stay. The staff is very welcoming and greet you every time they see you. The hotel is very clean and easy to navigate. Very close to everything you need to enjoy NOLA - trains, Bourbon St., Jackson Square, French Market, and a wide choice of great restaurants. Loved the convenience of their mini market that was chargeable to the room, which meant I didn’t have to travel too far for a snack. I would definitely stay here again.

During our stay at the Courtyard, we were immediately greeted by staff without hesitation and had a very smooth checkin. The warmth of their presence carried over from the day we arrived to the moment we checked out four days later and would ultimately foreshadow our experience here. The staff who helped us check in, including Shalita Foe, also provided some very good suggestions of places to eat, shop, and explore during our time and to get a better feel of the city and community in New Orleans. Any questions we had were answered by the staff with confidence and out of true concern for our experience in New Orleans. As for our room, the staff did an excellent job each day of ensure that our room was sanitized and that our linens were changed properly. We thank the staff at Courtyard by Marriott- New Orleans for your generous hospitality and for making our trip to New Orleans worthwhile!

So my husband and I visited this hotel a few months back. And we were quite impressed with the staff number one. The ladies at the front desk were so accommodating and kind and compassionate. I was disappointed that the bar was not open at the time, but it didn’t really take away from the excellence of service. So I sent my husband and daughter back there again as they were going to a concert in the area. And I must say they were so well taken care of. We will always stay at this hotel when we go to New Orleans. You have our business. And our recommendations.

Great location that was walking distance to or transit accessible to all our activities. The room was also spacious, comfortable and clean and elevators were fast. The iced water in the lobby was also a nice touch. Gee gave us such a warm welcome after we arrived from our red eye flight. He made sure that we were first on the list for the next available room and went the extra mile to communicate that to his colleague. Just before he was off his shift, he was able to secure us early check in, which was much appreciated.

If you want to be in the French Quarter in walking distance of just about everything this is a great choice. In fact, just a two block walk to the streetcar stop on Canal Street. As per usual, Marriott delivers. The room was clean, soap shampoo, conditioner supplied. Didn’t need car parking but it’s available for a fee. All staff were pleasant. Rooms clean, daily breakfast available for a charge. It’s was 3 day getaway so we didn’t try the live jazz at the joining hotel because we had other plans. Go to Deanies, food was good. The other crab boil was just aiight. Have a good time eating and whatever!

The hotel is really nice and the rooms have been renovated. The only issue we had was the extra fee for parking our car $50 per day. I find it a bit too much. Also, we bought the breakfast package but it only included a sandwich and drink or two cold items and drink. I wish Expedia should specify this at time on reserving.

We enjoyed our stay at the Courtyard! Especially liked that we could access the Ritz-Carlton and enjoy the facilities. The room was large with a separate siting/desk area. The reception staff were extremely helpful for us "newbees" to New Orleans. The breakfast staff were great and it was nice to have Starbucks coffee. The towels were clean but pretty rough :(and on one day housekeeping came to clean, but we needed her to come later. Unfortunately, she didn't understand English at all and even with Google translate, she misunderstood "come back later" and never came back.

Staff was friendly and helpful Hotel room was comfortable and quiet. They serve breakfast or lunch items but only through Starbucks. If you need continental breakfast they do not offer that. However, there are plenty of places to eat near this hotel. They have a mini-store onsite with drinks, toiletries, etc. My stay was great overall.
