Melrose Mansion is a gem and was a highlight of our New Orleans trip. I was hoping to stay somewhere unique (non-chain) that incorporated the New Orleans vibe while still being comfortable and at least 4 stars. The mansion was right on the mark with nicely renovated rooms, clean/cute common areas, a small B&B feel and history. The pool was gorgeous and felt luxe and private. Our room was fantastic, clean, nice bathroom, comfortable mattress, all lovely. But the staff! The staff were welcoming, helpful, fun, and all-around made you feel like you were extra VIP. Special thanks to Emily who had a great personality and was over-the-top with her lists of restaurants and sites, even for my special dietary needs. I will only stay here moving forward. Loved it. 👏

Location was perfect - close enough to easily walk to the quarter but quiet and peaceful. The staff was amazing- so helpful, very personalized experience. We will most definitely be back!
