They are actively renovating the hotel. Only half is open. The stairwell smells horrible but our room was clean and the beds comfy. The walls are a little thin, could hear people talking when everything was off. Breakfast was decent. Once the remodeling is done it’ll be an even better place. We got our room for $100 a night so no complaints for what we paid compared to others.

Although under construction, the rooms are clean and comfortable. It currently is an active construction zone where half of the interior is under construction and blocked off on each floor. The carpets on the livable portion are dirty from debris from the work zone but that doesn’t impact the rooms. The staff was extremely kind and offered our group earlier breakfast times because we had to get out extremely early. They were very accommodating! I would definitely stay here again.

The staff could not have been more pleasant with us. It seems to be undergoing some renovations, so there were ice machines not working and general items seemed to be out of supply like tissues and soap in showerhad not been replenished, but we'd brought our own, so it was fine, though im sure they would have brought it right up if we'd needed it! So great, would definitely come back at any future trip this way! Thank you!

The hotel is being remodeled and is in disarray inside and out. The end of the building adjacent to the public highway has a large sign "Main Stay"...not "Sleep Inn". We drove past and had to turn around and drive into the parking lot before seeing a "Sleep Inn" sign on the far side. The outside of the building looks like a new building under construction...not open for business. Only one Ice machine worked on the third floor. The lady who checked us in never briefed us on any of the hotel's services. The shower did not have any safety grab bars and the ventilation system was not working. The continental breakfast was very skimpy and not well serviced. Not our usual pleasant stay at a "Sleep Inn"

I recently stayed at this hotel, it is undergoing upgrades, but unfortunately, the contractors they hired seemed to be creating more mess than making improvements. The hallways, room rugs, and bathroom floors were not being properly cleaned by the housekeeping staff, and the elevator floor was in a terrible state. Despite being aware of these issues, the front desk staff did not take any action. Additionally, the continental breakfast was extremely limited in options and of low quality, and the parking lot was not well-maintained, with debris, cigarette butts and trash left behind...

Our room was excellent - clean and spacious. The property is being renovated so not all amenities were available (this was fine by us). I would have liked more hot options at breakfast (i.e. sausage/bacon, scrambled eggs). Overall, I'd recommend this property.

First off, the building was heavy duty under construction which was a little off putting but that was my own fault for not double checking recent reviews before staying. Hotel smelt strongly of fumes and the building was just overall sketchy. Got to the room and the one bed had a weird yellow stain on it so we just used the other bed. There was a bunch of extension cords all tangled plugging everything in so definitely not kid friendly. Woke up in the morning and threw the blanket off only to discover a blood stain a little bigger than the size of a quarter and it was not our blood and it was not washed out so I have concerns that the blankets were not actually washed. Definitely won’t be staying here again.

The front desk clerk did not seem to know what he was doing. He wanted me to agree to an extra $150 hold in case of damage and said it was a hotel policy. Never heard of that before since you have my credit card on file and I refused to say it was ok. The free breakfast was a very minimal breakfast with some of the worst coffee i have ever had. The breakfast was so bad we skipped it the second day. Our room was clean but the hallway and elevator were dirty. It is evident the hotel is under renovation. Our second night there our key cards wouldn't work when we returned to our room from a long day. the same front desk worker tried three times to reset our cards but eventually just went to the room and unlocked it and then handed me a card and said it was a master key that would get me in. I hope it wasn't a master key, because I would not want someone else to have a key to my room. I will not be returning to the hotel the next time I am in the area, i will find another place.

The property is being renovated overall and most of the floor I was on appeared to be under construction with cardboard covering carpet and vacant rooms with no doors, painting supplies. It was quiet while I was there. There didn’t seem to be many guests, so the breakfast was limited to toast, cereals, a couple of muffins and a waffle station. I would have liked an egg choice.

Recently renovated room so everything looks new. Room cleaning is good but not great as there was some dirt and small hairs from the previous guest. Walls are a little thin so you can hear the rooms next to you and some of the road noise. Very convent to get off and on 81. The Free Breakfast was simple but adequate, cereal, muffins, yogurt and bread. Considering the price it is a very good value especially if you are just looking for a place to spend the night on your travels.

Under construction. Half the building is new and half isn’t. The lobby was new as well, but the elevator and halls were dingy and outdated. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. There’s also a lot of road noise from the adjacent highway. Decent for the price to be fair.

We booked this property and paid for our stay and when we arrived, we were told that the hotel had overbooked and that they did not have a room for us. It was past midnight and we were exhausted as we had just driven for 6 hours straight. The female manager on duty blamed Expedia and was not helpful at all. She stated that she did not have our money that we had to speak to Expedia to try to get our money back and offered no practical solutions except “we can try to transfer you to the local Red Roof Inn”, but after looking up the place on Expedia it was $50 cheaper to stay there and they refused to credit us the difference so we decided to call Expedia directly. After two hours on the phone with Expedia, we were finally set up with a new room in town at Best Western after 2 AM. The entire ordeal was horrendous for us including for our two children, one being an infant. In addition to this, the entire building looks like it’s under construction and everything is in disarray inside and out. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Best Western where they are established and know how to run a hotel properly.

Property was still under construction BUT the rate was excellent, the staff at check in was friendly and efficient, the staff member who was at the desk when we returned very late in the evening was 'resting their eyes' as we walked up but as we walked in smiled and greated us and the staff member upon check out was very pleasant as well. The only mid construction drawbacks were the elevator is still very 'original' feeling which made my teenager think this building for sure was going to result in her creepy murder (lolololol) only made worse by meeting the construction threshold as we exited the elevator which included missing tiles in the hall ceiling and a room that was used for construction material storage which was ajar that she also convinced herself someone was hiding in (seriously?!?). The hallway clearly was not maintaining the air conditioning, but the ice machine miraculously was like an old faithful friend of the elevator who had seen better days but still worked like a champ. The new lighting made the parking lot feel very secure, but I could definitely feel differently had it not been so very well lit!! And the room air was not on at all when we entered and on a 90 degree day it was HOT on the top floor...BUT we set it on cool 68 and within about an hour it was much better and a few hours later by sleeping time it was very comfortable to sleep in despite the hallway still feeling like a roasting oven! The lobby was also keep wonderfully cool!!

I hope it wasn't a master key, because I would not want someone else to have a key to my room. I will not be returning to the hotel the next time I am in the area, i will find another place.

The staff could not have been more pleasant with us. It seems to be undergoing some renovations, so there were ice machines not working and general items seemed to be out of supply like tissues and soap in showerhad not been replenished, but we'd brought our own, so it was fine, though im sure they would have brought it right up if we'd needed it! So great, would definitely come back at any future trip this way! Thank you!

A repurposed Days inn that had seen better days. Sleep inn is doing a wonderful job not cutting any corners. Staff are great. The property is a work in progress with about 1/2 the rooms available. Quiet and convenient to restaurants. If you are going to a Gettysburg like me stay here and save some money.

The property is under construction which is fine. However they are sure quick to charge you for "incidentals" My son spilt a small amount of a very light colored milkshake on the bed and used a towel to clean it up. They charged me $75 for it. There is no way it stained anything. I listened to her yelling outside someone's door that she was charging him $150 for smoking. (Granted I could understand smoking) but I think they are all over taking what they can from you. I've stayed here before with no issues and come to the area often. Will not be staying here again. Be careful!!

The woman at the front desk when I checked in was very polite, friendly and helpful. The building is under renovations so it wasn't as clean as it could be. The restaurant next door wasn't to my liking so I drove 1/2 mile down street to the Trojan Diner and had a well coked T-bone dinner and they served several local beers.

Recently renovated room so everything looks new. Room cleaning is good but not great as there was some dirt and small hairs from the previous guest. Walls are a little thin so you can hear the rooms next to you and some of the road noise. Very convent to get off and on 81. The Free Breakfast was simple but adequate, cereal, muffins, yogurt and bread. Considering the price it is a very good value especially if you are just looking for a place to spend the night on your travels.

The location is great if you need to stay near the expressway. Plenty of parking. Beds were comfortable. I did have to change rooms but the staff checked the last room thoroughly to make sure it was good. As far a breakfast options; very limited. Seems like they are still renovating but overall not bad.

Under construction. Half the building is new and half isn’t. The lobby was new as well, but the elevator and halls were dingy and outdated. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. There’s also a lot of road noise from the adjacent highway. Decent for the price to be fair.

The hotel is being remodeled and is in disarray inside and out. The end of the building adjacent to the public highway has a large sign "Main Stay"...not "Sleep Inn". We drove past and had to turn around and drive into the parking lot before seeing a "Sleep Inn" sign on the far side. The outside of the building looks like a new building under construction...not open for business. Only one Ice machine worked on the third floor. The lady who checked us in never briefed us on any of the hotel's services. The shower did not have any safety grab bars and the ventilation system was not working. The continental breakfast was very skimpy and not well serviced. Not our usual pleasant stay at a "Sleep Inn"

Hotel is still under construction. Work was quiet and shut off from the occupied end of the hotel. Staff was very nice to accommodate my early check-in. I told the front desk I was not in need of daily maid service, but that was not encouraged or presented as an option. Could be more eco-friendly. Location was perfect for me.

I stayed at this Sleep Inn six months ago. This more recent stay had less available for breakfast. Breakfast buffet supplies were not replenished routinely. I woke up earlier one day, thinking the early breakfast crowd had consumed more than anticipated. I didn’t see many people at an earlier hour. Other than the limited breakfast items, it was a comfortable stay and the rate was very reasonable. I would stay again.

There was a lot of road noise that came through the air conditioner unit. The breakfast was pitiful; advertised as a hot breakfast; the only things hot were toast if you ran it through the toaster a couple of times, the funky textured make your own waffles and the disgusting tasting coffee.

I read the feedback which were very good with a very reasonable rate. I was pleasantly suprised on how the building, rooms, and furniture were clean,good condition. Breakfast was scrambled eggs and sausage ,waffles cereal ect. It was a very nice stay.

We were disappointed in the condition of the hotel. The breakfast lacked butter for the toast and waffles, no honey for tea, limited options for breakfast. Our door was difficult to open due to the poor paint job around the pain. Room was fair. If the hotel was under renovation, we should have been notified beforehand so we knew what to expect.

Hotel was under renovation which was fine but it had an odd smell throughout and was a little cluttered. Bathroom toilet seat was barely attached and dirty. Breakfast was a joke with hardly any food and ants crawling all over the counter. I suppose it all reflected the $80 rate.

This hotel needs major updates. Room was acceptably clean. Public space were filthy and smelled. All carpeting needs immediate replacement. Highway access and location were great. What a shame as this could be a gem but someone needs to care!

I arrived after midnight for late checkin. I rang bell and was immediately taken care of and got my room key. Walking the very old carpeted hallway to my room I noticed it hadn't been vacuumed. Likewise my room had same old unvacuumed carpet. Pieces of paper gum wrappers etc. The bed was well made up clean as was the bathroom and shower. Being so tired that was my main concern and I crashed. I honestly would not stay at this location again.
