Great location. Lobby was updated and clean. Room was mostly good, except for a big rip in the blackout curtain. Hot tub was barely even luke warm. We sat in it but literally got chilled. Picture online is accurate but it's tiny! Max capacity of 3. Ceiling above pool is falling apart. Pool was freezing! Wouldn't stay here again unless those issues are fixed.

The hotel on the inside is very clean. The amenities are great except for the room did not have a microwave. They never opened the lounge. I was expecting a bartender to arrive. But mostly I would not stay again based on the front desk supervisor. She called my husband a liar after he told her the housekeeper never came to service our room after staying there for 4 nights.

Frront desk staff wre very respectful. Elevator was not working. So they offered to carry my luggage to my room. Excellent service. I have never been disappointed at a Marriott hotel.

Checking in was easy and the lady helping was nice. But then there were a few issues. The two TVs are only a few feet apart. The one for the beds had the volume on full blast and you could barely hear it from the bed. The bathtub filled so slow and the jets didn't work. By the time we made it to the pool area (pool is about 20 ft long and only has 3-4 ft) the jacuzzi water had a yellow tint so we decided not to go in. Then around 11:45am, pm e get two knocks on the door. Before I can walk to open it, it's a manager letting herself in to ask if we're checking out or staying. It's a good thing nobody was changing clothes.

The staff was nice and the free breakfast was sufficient. Overall the experience was good for the price. The issue i have is that our room wasnt the cleanest. There had obviously been a fight previously in room 240 as there was blood splatters on the wall, the couch and the curtains. The curtains were also torn. The blood on the couch was a little harder to see since the couch was orangish/rust color, but once you notice the blood in other places you notice the couch.

My first room had bugs including spiders, but the hotel moved us immediately. Our second room was perfect.The staff was amazing. Parking was great. Breakfast was very limited on selection.

I hate to give the review I’m giving but it wouldn’t sit right with me if I didn’t. My suite was nice and spacious actually, my children loved the space and comfy beds. Unfortunately, upon walking into the unit an instant stench hit our noses. Not from one area but two of the room. The bathroom and somewhere near the “kitchen”. I couldn’t distinguish exactly where from (the microwave, the refrigerator) but it was definitely a smell when you walked near or to that designated area of the room. Moving on, flies were also present in the room which just further led me to believe it wasn’t the cleanest. I was going to take a bath but I saw those jets and nearly fainted. I wiped the jets in the bath tub myself and dirt instantly came up. I wonder how often they are properly cleaned? Anywho, I decided not to proceed with a bath. A shower it was, until I realized the water didn’t reach pass freezing cold. I like to think I got a pretty good deal for the room itself but disappointment is an understatement when describing my actual stay. *sigh*

I found a long black hair in the bathtub, so got out and cleaned it before resuming my shower. Paint is peeling on the ceiling in the bedroom. The air conditioner in the living area would not stay in air conditioner mode for any longer than ten minutes before pumping out heat. Quite unbearable when outside temperatures were in the mid 80s. Staff was very pleasant though and the breakfast was quite satisfying. Room 139.

Hotel didnt met my expectations , housekeeping doesn't come everyday. I found the women staff to be extremely rude even to simple question being asked the response was given very rudely. The guy who helped us checked out was friendly.

Front desk personnel have no idea as to courtesy, greeting someone, or conversation. The night woman was rude beyond belief, and didn’t utter two words. Felt like we were a nuisance to her. Otherwise, nice hotel, clean, comfortable, average breakfast, good 24 hour tea/coffee service. Very nice ice water with lemon stand.

The hotel was close and convenient to my son's apartment. We had to change our reservation to a different date, and we did have some trouble with the manager after we checked out. She wasn't very kind to me on the phone. Expedia took care of the issue for us, and I am very grateful for that.

The hotel is pretty good, pleasant, and clean, but you have to request your room to be cleaned or else they don’t show up. When we checked in, they told us that they clean the rooms every other day, but two days later they just gave us new towels. The location is pretty far from Chicago and there isn’t much to do around the hotel unless you want to drive to Lombard center where there are a few options but again they close early, and generally the area goes dead pretty early.

Right off the highway. Lots of shopping/food options close Pool is small, hot tub is AWESOME THE BREAKFAST IS FANTASTIC!!!!! An excellent choice for a weekend stay!

There was a fire alarm one morning at around 8:30, which appropriately summoned the fire department. When they allowed us back in after clearing the building, it was just before 9 AM which is the cutoff time for the breakfast. As we got back in the kitchen staff was asking the food away, and I asked if we could get a few extra minutes because of the evacuation order, and she said "no, over at 9AM". She was not fluent in english, and I'm assuming she thought she must totally follow her instructions to close, but perhaps the management could do more instruction on customer service and how to deal with an uncommon situation. Also, the premade breakfast sandwiches were barely edible. Everything else during our stay was pretty good!

Fairfield Inn is absolutely spectacular! We were in a king suite. King bedroom separated from living area. The king bed was extremely comfy!! The only complaint I have about the room is the couch definitely needs upgraded. We reserved this room to accommodate our family of 4. Two on the king bed and two on the pull out couch. The couch bed is extremely small and super thin mattress to the point where you can feel the metal bars. During the day, we would sit on the couch, but not for long as you uncomfortably lean to towards the middle due to it being a very worn in couch. My biggest compliment was the breakfast! Holy cow was it amazing! BEST breakfast from a mediocre hotel! They had it all. Eggs, sausage, cereal, oatmeal, waffles, yogurt, fruit, breads. And all the toppings you could think of!! I would most definitely recommend staying here! Whenever we come back to the area, we will be sure to book with Fairfield Inn!
