BON Hotel at VidantaWorld Nuevo Vallarta

The Vidanta world resort is absolutely beautiful. It wraps around the river at Nuevo Vallarta all the way down to the beach. There is a Skydream cable car which is a great way to travel around the sprawling resort, the only problem with it is that when there is bad weather, and there are a lot of thunderstorms in July/August, the Skydream will shut down and turn you have to rely on the shuttle to take you around the resort. One morning, my family had to wait almost one hour for a shuttle to pick us up from one part of the resort to take us back to our suite. We did complain, as it’s lucky we didn’t have our flight home to catch that day. That was the only disappointment, other than that the cleanliness of our suite and the entire resort was immaculate. The restaurants are amazing, we tried Gong, Quinto and La Cantina. You need a reservation for all the restaurants apart from La Cantina, because most of them are fine dining. My favorite restaurant was actually La Cantina, the Mexican food was so delicious and the service was excellent. It’s also the more affordable option. The multiple pools are also beautiful, but the lazy river was closed on most days, also due to bad weather. We only got to try the lazy river once and it was fun and quite refreshing on the ring floats passing by the many waterfalls. They also had a water slide which was great fun for the kids. The pool service is also great, there are always people on hand to serve you food and drinks by the pools.

The property is breathtaking, very tropical looking. Customer service was great and property well maintained. Ocean was nice but not beautiful.

Everything was exelent! We had a great time

My check-in experience was very disappointing. Upon arrival, I was informed that BON Hotel was under renovation and that I would not be staying at the hotel I had booked. Instead, I was assigned to Grand Luxxe. Unfortunately, the room I received was not clean upon arrival. There were dirty lamps, stained bedding, and other cleanliness issues that made the room unacceptable. I reported these problems immediately and was told that a deep cleaning would be performed, but the issues were not properly resolved. We also had to wait a long time for the bedding to be replaced, and even the replacement bedding had stains. On the third day, we were moved to another suite that was cleaner, but this required us to pack and unpack all of our belongings again, causing significant inconvenience during our vacation. Being relocated from the hotel I originally booked, combined with the cleanliness issues and repeated room problems, negatively affected our stay from the very beginning. This experience did not meet the standards we expected for the amount we paid.
