Check in was super nice helpful people. One elevator broke this seems to be an industry standard. Updating the hotel makes it look dingy. The tv has no channel recognition as to what channel you are watching or looking for. The restaurant was closed.

I guess it was a decent accommodation for a last minute trip. The worse thing was to have to pay for parking to park at the hotel! That is crazy to me. There are no other parking lots or any street parking so you have no choice.

Got a lot of noise bleeding into the room from the street and the very busy parking lot. I didn’t read the fine print on parking. Simply seem “Parking Available”, what the meant to say was parking available for a fee in a very small and busy parking lot. Good luck! Lobby was very loud from the music coming from the bar area with lots of people coming and going.

Was surprised to find that we had to pay $23 for overnight parking - wasn’t aware. Would have booked elsewhere. The lighting in the bathroom was not very bright & no exhaust fan. The walls in the bathroom were not clean or in the entry hall. Very loud as well. I realize we were by an airport but it t was like a raceway outside. The desk clerk was very knowledgeable and professional.

Wasn't in the room 5min before I laid on the bed & bed bugs came out the pillow. Literally 3 big bed bugs came out my pillow while I was laying on the pillow. I jumped up in disgust while checking my body for more bed bugs & snatching my luggage off the bed me & mom. Me & my mom started recording & taking pictures. Only found 1 remaining bed bug on the pillow. Did not stay at the hotel, was forced to leave. Was not reimbursed my money to my knowledge. & Had to pay additional money at another hotel. Drove 8 hrs to Chicago from West Virginia to attend a funeral. I was very disappointed & that experience added more stress to me & my mom that we was already experiencing from losing a family member. Terrible experience

The room was fine and comfortable but I really don't like sliding bathroom doors. The area was super congested and the hotel was infront of a dying mall. Location was one of the biggest disappointments and then we were surprised with a 20 dollar parking fee which was the bigger disappointment. There was a decent fitness center.

The hotel looked to have been new, but it is built in front of a trucking company. Every night between 2:30am-3:30am we were startled out of our sleep from what sounded like crashing trucks. Other than that it was okay.

Nice clean place to stay, but does need some updating, i.e. sliding door for washroom, not convenient and difficult to 'close'. Also right a major road with loud traffic, upgraded windows would help.

The outside of the hotel is plain but once inside it is very nice. The people were professional and friendly. MJ Rose helped us in so many ways to make our stay great. She suggested restaurants and attractions for us. Our room on the fifth floor was recently renovated with nice fixtures and was clean and fresh.

Lobby and rooms have recently been redone and are very stylish. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. I slept so well! Staff was very friendly. Only draw back was there wasn't a pool/hot tub.

Travelers beware!!! I don’t know who they have working in the front desk. They were very polite but somehow ended up charging me and extra $165 for a one night stay. I made the reservation through Expedia….cool no problem. They told me there was a $100 security deposit that you get back in a couple of days. No problem! Then I check my bank account today and I was charged (totally separate from the Expedia charge) an extra $165. For what I have no idea. And when I called the hotel to get them to fix their mistake, not only did they have me on hold for 25 min but they said they couldn’t see anything being charged on their end. How is that possible you say? I have no idea either. And the charge wasn’t pending it was posted and taken out of my debit account. The hotel couldn’t do anything for me. I Ended up having to call my bank to dispute the charge and I hope all that works out. Also they’re cleaning products smell so strong. Grateful for a clean room but if you have allergies to strong smelling cleaning products like I do beware.

We had 3 rooms, 2 for 3 days, and 1 for 2. The people that worked Friday night through Monday were awesome. They handled problems, check-ins, and check-outs as fast as they could, but for $1,760, very short on counter staff, no bar, (sign "open in summer"), one elevator, and an $18 breakfast that wasn't any better than a free one at Super 8. The front counter people are obviously not paid enough and stretched way too thin. I would hire any of them in a minute, but that would leave you with self check-in. I just shake my head that for this kind of money, this is what you get, even in Chicago.

The staff was incredible! Very kind. The airport driver went above and beyond. We had an unexpected stay with our cancelled flight. We ended up ordering Giardanos pizza and only wished we had offered the staff some before we started to eat as well had too much!!

Took over 15 minutes to check in. They couldn’t find our reservation but finally found it stating that they had already checked us in for some reason. Got to our room and there was already someone in there. The hostess was very apologetic and got it all straightened out but not a very good experience. Otherwise the hotel was fine. Rooms were clean and the shower worked great.

It was an emergency since they cancelled my flight. It is close to the airport, they have a shuttle and the driver was super friendly and nice. Service was great. Hotel needs some maintenance, but it was good for the purpose.

Very clean and convenient, less than 2 miles from MDW, modern & chic. Staff is very friendly. Key card is required to access the elevator. I felt very safe as a solo, female traveler. $50 flat incidental fee. Recommend! 5 stars

Not organized at all bldg. was still being updated. Elevator wasn't working overall poor experience.

Left the hotel for the day - when we returned our beds were made up but all of our clothes and toiletries were gone. The hotel ‘finally’ said they would contact a manager - because there was no manager on duty. No word back from the manager. Stuff still missing. I wouldn't trust staying at this hotel again. Also - breakfast is not included. It’s $18 for the breakfast buffet which was definitely not worth $18. Powdered eggs, etc. The usual Holiday Inn breakfast that is usually free (for a reason).
