This hotel has a great location and a friendly staff but is pretty disappointing outside of that. Overall, it is one of the lower priced hotels that is this area so you are paying for what you get. Rooms were decently cleaned and stocked with enough towels. But furniture was a little dingy, the sink water pressure was terrible and the shower drain kept backing up. The door handle on the bathroom was also partially off. Breakfast was not good. The eggs were the fake powered kind, sausage was gamey and oily (even for sausage) and the rest was just ok. We were out and about most of the weekend so we didn't have to deal with the room too much, but it definitely wasn't a room to relax and unwind in.

Staff were very helpful. Included breakfast is convenient. The carpets in the room and stairs to mezzanine were not clean. The elevators were very busy especially in the morning. Unfortunately there was a barking dog which we could hear for a good length of time. We were on the 30th floor so not sure where dog was. Likely in an adjacent room. The hotel had a good location very near Michigan ave. The seats and benches in the dining room were not only in poor condition but so worn out they were uncomfortable.

Didn’t advertise the pool was not functioning pictures of pool in advertisements deceiving and elevator took 20 minutes minimum to go down many people had to walk 22 plus flights of stairs vs wait for no elevator to stop on high floors. Won’t stay there again

Our AC thermostat didnt go below 76. With a heat index of over 100, was not a comfortable stay. Alerted front desk after first night, they said an engineer would look at it but we never heard anything. All we know is 2nd night was no better.
