Major issues with elevators - plan on at least a 20 minute wait. They only had one working elevator for all guests and employees with cleaning carts. Subsequently, although the elevator was full, employees were on every floor trying to move up and down through the 13 story building. Not a great experience if you don't have a lot of time to waste.

Hotel is located Downtown in close walking distance to many restaurants and entertainment areas. Easy to access valet parking. No waiting when we parked or retrieved our vehicle. The bar atmosphere was busy when we checked in at 1030 pm on a Thursday night, even busier Friday night. The bartender was attentive and quick to acknowledge and serve me. The rooms were clean quiet and very comfy beds. Not once did I hear any other guest while we were in the room. Hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly. We used the hot tub and pool, the gym and pool areas were clean and not too busy. Breakfast in restaurant was delicious and quick. We pre ordered room service breakfast the 2nd morning and it was on time and very good. Check out was quick and easy. I will definitely stay at this hotel again when I am in Boise.

Beautiful high end hotel in the heart of downtown Boise. The use of the gym was my favorite part. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool and sauna the night we arrived and the large gym the next morning. The whole area is walkable to restaurants and shops. Definitely recommend!

Chose the Grove for easy access to nearby attractions making them walkable, ie: State Capitol, restaurants, parks, etc. Room was clean and worked well for us. Only issue for us was the underground parking where car slots are very tight and we have a smaller car. Made it difficult to open doors on both sides. Also a lot of parking spots were reserved for valet making it harder to locate a workable spot.

The parking garage was terribly cramped. It was difficult to manuever into spots even with a small car. I think they should just do valet. Too stressful.

Perfect location and love that they offer shuttle services to and from for the airport. Staff is super friendly. Only downside is the elevators are super slow. It also seems like a common gathering place before and after the hockey games which is fine unless you’re just trying to get in your room and the lobby is packed

The Grove's workout and spa area was a very nice surprise! They had a swimming pool, hot tub, steam room and a sauna! I ordered room service and they were prompt with the delivery. The food was very good as well!

Everything was great. The food was excellent. They’re just doing construction now and it’s pretty loud. The gym is under construction. But everything else is lovely.

Inside the bedroom wasn’t a desired clean. The bathroom was a dirty hanging towel in the shower, carpet wasn’t Vaccum (that made my mom at 75 years old allergy even worse), then when she laying down in the bed wasn’t really clean. I talked with the front desk and show her the pictures than she just say “thank you for sharing”.

The mattresses were very hard, the floors hadn’t been vacuumed, the curtains and bedding were stained with what looked like ink and food, and the emerald green arm chair was covered in a nasty brown film. The Trillium restaurant was great though and had amazing staff!

The hotel is quiet and in a convenient area for walking. We did find the cleanliness a bit lacking when packing up we found some used soda cans that weren’t ours shoved in a corner. Other than that, it didn’t seem dirty just not thoroughly inspected between guests.

We love the Grove with its lounge bar and location downtown. Our one complaint was the room didn't look to have been vacuumed for quite a while and there was hair all over the carpet.

We were not satisfied during this stay. Mainly because of the renovations- we are super bummed they are “modernizing” their rooms/hotel. We loved the older feeling the hotel had. We switched rooms due to this and were put in an older room- which still looked updated besides the stained carpet and outdated bathroom. I did not check bedding before we slept due to our busy schedule, but woke up the next morning and noticed a big water mark or some sort of spill on one of the pillow cases. There was also no microwave in our room which seems off but this one I’m not sure if the hotel accommodates. Sad to say this will be our last stay there due to all of this. Plus their pricing has become outrageous. We booked in May and still paid $300- booked hotels with better rooms for cheaper downtown Boise.

Room was a bit dirty, bugs inside the light fixtures, peeling paint, and water pressure so low you'd think you where in a camp trailer. Worst of all was the mattress that felt like laying on saggy baling twine. We really had expected more from the Grove.

Keeping the rooms too warm. Makes it hard to sleep. It would be nice to have a coffee station or somewhere for quick bites. Bathroom Could've been cleaner. Brown stuff on the floor and scum on ledge of tub.

We had a very interesting time. First off, you all need to work on sound proofing the rooms. People talking in connecting rooms with a door, sounds like the people are right in the room with you speaking normally. The door shutting in the hallways rattled the whole floor. There was a guy next door that would get up and clear his.lungs like he was a TB patient every morning. This was hard ti listen to at 730 am. Harder was our last night there, he had a woman there, who had not been there previously, and it was like being in a porno. You need to do something about this. The thickness of the walls between other rooms without doors between seems to work well, but connecting doors and hallway doors need work. As a note we stayed in a revovated part of the hotel. You all need to do better, especially if someone has kids.

Our stay at the Grove was definitely disappointing when you consider it is supposed to be a premier and top hotel in Boise. Check in was smooth and easy, parking was difficult without and direction on where to park before we arrived. Our room at first glance was nice but we soon noticed a broken tub faucet, dirty floors (we found trash and used earplugs by the dresser), and a broken bedside lamp. There were clearly shards missing from the base. At 12:30am we were woken up by the fire alarm and had to run downstairs and outside into freezing weather. When we came around the front we saw there were still people hanging in the lobby so we went inside to find an employee to ask if it was safe to wait inside. The only employees we could see were the bartenders who were obviously closing up. When we walked up to ask if it was okay to be in the lobby, the bartender didn’t even give us a second before she snapped “we are closed!” And turned away. There was no direction about the fire alarm and we waited for 20 minutes before a security guard told us we could go back to our rooms. At check out it was as if staff had been trained to not acknowledge what happened the previous night. They did not ask about how our stay was, and when we asked what had happened with the fire alarm we were quickly given a “someone pulled it, how do you want your receipt sent to you.” Definitely not the hospitality you would expect at a hotel like this.

When I entered the hotel I was thrilled with the customer service of the initial staff. The rooms were clean, stylish and comfortable. It has a great restaurant attached to it and lots of options if you wanted to eat outside of the hotel. My only disappointment was the valley service. I had called ahead to have my car ready and even after 40 minutes they still didn't have my truck out yet.

When we checked in on the first day the girl at the front desk had no personality. I believe her name was Morgan. When we got up to our room , we checked the shower and there was male hair everywhere left on the sides and on the wall of the shower. The bed sheets never once stayed on the bed our entire stay. They had their staff using all the elevators and making it a longer wait for the guest to go down the elevator. 2 out of 3 of the elevators are working. Went down to the hot tub to find children in there. Kids don’t belong in a hot tub. Paying all this money to stay in a “ moderate “ hotel. Would NEVER stay here again

One of the worst check in experiences I’ve had at a hotel. The woman was robotic and very unwelcoming. Asking for a a late check out and she said she would check but then immediately said no. Just unprofessional with the whole interaction.

The Grove Hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Boise just a few blocks from the Capital. One of the things I enjoyed was the excellent selection of places to eat nearby. Room was clean, comfortable and a great spot to stay. If ever in Boise I would definitely stay at The Grove again.

Service was great. Staff friendly and helpful (valet, front desk, everyone). Trillium restaurant was delicious. I didn't find the bed or pillows very comfortable at all. Room a bit stuffy and hot for me even with AC on. Hot water at the sink was very very hot.

This is a great property with an excellent restaurant, great location, and fantastic views on upper floors. That said, the room was on the dusty side and the AC thermostat was more of a guideline than actual control. Had a problem with the TV but the engineer (facilities) person was excellent and took care of it right away. I would stay stay at this property again.
