I was dissatisfied I had to pay extra to park in the garage. There is limited street parking. Very understandable considering location of the hotel. It’s in a great location with many places to enjoy within walking distance. The pillows were less than average, I found myself adjusting most of the evening. I would definitely stay there again due to the location and what the area has to offer. 4 out of 5.

Can’t remember his name but the gentleman working in the lobby was outstanding!! Provided us with recommendations around Ybor and drove us to the port for our cruise the next day. Always had a smile on his face and super friendly! Pool is on the small side but if you’re going on a cruise I’d definitely stay here.

The hotel itself was great. The parking situation was terrible. We had to drive two vehicles that night and did not catch the $22 fee for parking. We scanned the QR code the front desk advised us about. I entered one vehicle then when I entered the second vehicle I had entered thew wrong plate info. There was no way to change it on the app. I asked the lady at the front desk and she said I have to contact the company because it is not through them. I did the chat and that was no help. I sent the company a message on their form and got no response. The next morning I had something on my car saying to register the vehicle. Piss poor service in my opinion. The fact that the hotel cant help you when you have to pay to park at their hotel is terrible. The website not being able to update the plate is terrible too. I will never stay at this hotel again just because of the parking being such a pain. Not to mention it is in a shady area and very limited parking spaces.

We stayed here the night before boarding a cruise. There’s a free shuttle to the port. There’s also a free trolley downtown that is super neat to ride. It stopped near a Publix so we could get a few things we forgot for the cruise. The staff was super nice and informative.

Once inside, the hotel was clean and the staff were kind, however, the main entrance doors do not work with the key card, causing visitors to enter through a back street and walk through the parking garage in the dark. This is not the safest way with so many underprivileged and homeless in the area living by the dumpsters and along the train tracks. The railroad track is along the back side where the parking garage is and the street car is along the side. The outside area that you drive through to get to this hotel is a very “rough” looking area, so the least the company could do is fix the doors quickly! Even if you went to the gym, you could not get back in to the building without going back outside and walking around to go through the garage.

Rooms were very expensive for event going on in town (Women's NCAA Final Four). Hotel was excellent, but we didn't get our room cleaned once in 4 days. We even asked the cleaning staff & only got towels & garbage taken out. For almost $500/ night we felt like they could have cleaned the rooms

While the property was located in a decent location, we weren't impressed with our room because we were placed in a room where construction workers were working outside our window. We had to request to be moved and when we are moved, our room smelled terrible like weed and dirt. The service of the staff was very good. They were helpful and friendly.

The room itself was spacious, as it was designed for accessibility, however, the moment I walked in, there was a strong smell of humidity—almost as if the room hadn’t had proper air conditioning for a while. I had specifically requested not to be placed in an accessible room during my reservation, but unfortunately, when I called the front desk to ask for a different room, I was told the hotel was fully booked and there was nothing they could do. I left feeling very disappointed. As for the parking lot—what a mess. There were very few available spaces, and the ones that were open were extremely tight. It made parking a real hassle.

My room was fumigated and the fans and machine with the blue light was still in my room. The smell was so bad I didn’t get any sleep and woke up with a headache Please refund my stay. I had to sleep with the sheet covering my face to lessen terrible smell of the chemicals. I’m heading home early and missed the final game because of what Hampton Inn did to me. I had to call the front desk to pick up the air cleaning equipment and the guy lied to me. He said all rooms have those fans and ionization machine when the cleaning ladies clean the rooms. For God’s sake why would you put me in a room that was just fumigated and charge me. I could not find another hotel. I missed the final game and am flying home early back to Columbus during the game time. The trip cost me $2,000. Please refund me.

AC leaked water. Put towels on ground. Very super tiny room for over $200. Toilet next to bed, hear everything. Lol. View of dumpsters. $22 to park. Initial front desk person seemed cranky, everyone else nice. Location nice to.Ybor. breakfast good. Had moldy odor in room. I sprayed cologne all over.

The parking was very tight and limited. The room itself was okay. We had to work on the toilet to get it to flush. The closet doors were falling apart. We ended up moving rooms adter the first night as the trolley was very noisy

The convenience is probably the best thing about this hotel, their breakfast selection was also pretty good and the staff were nice! However there are negatives, you have to pay extra for parking which should really just be included in the price like most other hotels. To even use the elevator you have to either have the app or use a keycard everytime to select a floor which was annoying. The A/C in my room barely worked all night and it was so humid. The beds were pretty uncomfortable and the faucet in the bathroom sink was way too close to the side. Besides that, it was average and worth the convenience of being able to walk to our concert.

It was very clean and the guest service was outstanding. The front counter attendant, Allie was super helpful and very accommodating. We had just returned from a cruise that morning and our check in time wasn't until 3:00pm. She allowed us to check in our luggage and gave us the option to check in early once a room was available. She also gave us advise on where to visit and the location of the trolley stop near the hotel. I was so grateful the hotel was able to accommodate us. The pool area was nice and the overall hotel was super clean.

The elevators were incredibly slow, and there was no attempt to fix them. There was one rude young man that was challenging my friend. They were shortstaffed and did not clean the room. Our garbage‘s were overflowing. They did not restock towels or soap. We had to go get those ourselves. When I’m paying that price for a hotel room, I expected it is a service coffee. The coffee and tea water were always cold. I have to say the breakfast buffet was attended as well as could be. There were a lot of people staying, and sometimes it took a while to get food up, but the young man who was doing it was doing his best.

The room was fine and the location is very convenient. Check in is supposed to be 3pm but they didn’t have a room ready when we went to check in at 4pm. It wasn’t ready until almost 6pm. This was a management issue but the front desk just kept telling people that they weren’t required to have a room ready - only that check in starts at 3. Taking a little more responsibility and acknowledging that we have every reason to expect to be able to check in would have gone a long way. So if you stay here, don’t bank on being able to check in by any specific time.

Upon arrival parking was full, and no clear place for unloading. parking attendant says more parking available on lower level. We unload and go to check in. I booked a room that included drinks and snacks. The room is bare. I go downstairs to move my car and notify the front desk of the lack of items She answered in a bothered tone that they no longer provide those in room But rather a credit from the selections in the foyer she added in a rather stern tone that the credits do not carry over and are only good for one nite each. Ok whatever. I go out to park, lower level full upper level full. Attendant now tells me spaces are available on the street. I go and circle the block, all spaces full. i get a phone call from my girlfriend the toilet doesn't flush All within 10 minutes of arriving. I go back up to the upper level the attendant again tells me more parking on lower I tell him its full He tells i can park in public lot across the street, they just charged me 20 bucks a nite and now i have to pay for public? Im a little annoyed to say the least, the manager asks whats the problem I'll admit i was snotty but im not the in the hospitality biz His attitude was there's plenty of parking we own the whole block, the attendant never communicated that. Then i find out one elevator doesnt work the attitude from the manager was pretty much there's other places to stay. I couldn't agree more. Unprofessional behavior is not acceptable wont be back, more to say but space limits

The staff was rude when we checked in and was upset because I did not check in digitally. Our room had a humidifier in it due to the recent hurricane (understandable). However, it was so loud and took up half the room. When I went back downstairs to inquire about the humidifier the staff at the front desk pointed to a sign and said oh yeah there are humidifiers in some of the rooms because some of them got rain in them. Don’t you think that should have been mentioned to us when we checked in instead of expecting us to read a sign? The gentleman at the front desk needs to get another job because he acted like he really hates his current one. Breakfast was cold.

Excellent service, especially from Laura at the front desk. They did run out of coffee both days at breakfast but were able to refill quickly. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Van driver to the cruise port was excellent and a great help!

Check-in was terrible. I had two rooms booked and said we only had one booked and was going to make us pay for another room. This was even after we show the clerk our Expedia confirmation. Said she didn’t have two rooms and we would have to take it up with Expedia. Finally, she found the room. I’m addition, the parking is terrible.

The staff and hotel were great. The main issues there are nightclubs next door that had bass shaking the entire Hotel. It was so loud we couldn’t sleep till 2am when the club stopped.

No at all impressed with the entrance of the Hotel. Two men on a elongated golf cart was stationed right in front of the front door. Loudly asking if we needed a ride. Going in we could see the pool; very pretty; except all you could see were many families and most of the older men were all smoking cigars in the pool. Immediately, we knew we would not be going in that. Breakfast was inedible; omelets were burnt, and tasted odd. Blueberry muffin tasted like paper. Room was okay.

This hotel is located in a great location, with a trolley stop right outside the property. The complimentary breakfast and cruise-shuttle were a great feature. We always felt safe when walking around Ybor city, with dozens of bars, restaurants and shopping less than a 5 minute walk away. The breakfast needs work, the potatoes and eggs were not seasoned, at all. The coffee was cold and took nearly 20 minutes to be corrected once an employee was notified. The 7th Ave entry door (Closest to the trolley stop) required a room-key to unlock the door, The reader was broken meaning you had to walk all the way around the property, and through the parking garage to enter the hotel. We returned from our cruise a week after our initial stay to find that the reader was still broken. The rooms were very comfortable with lots of HD channels on the TV, a mini fridge and microwave. The bathroom was spacious and soap/shampoo dispensers were available. Our bathroom was not fully cleaned, hair and urine stains were on the toilet, sink and tub. The wifi was free and very fast.

The room was comfortable. Parking is terrible. You also need to pay up to $25 a night for parking. Seems expensive when you have to park on the street instead of a secured location. The free breakfast was very bland tasting. No flavor to the potatoes and eggs. The room is nice, the parking and breakfast was lacking.
