Everything was great except that my door did not close unless pushed/pulled hard. It appeared the frame or door was warped. Also main area A/C issues so they had auxiliary fans and units blowing.

It was okay at best. It's an older building....the elevator shut down for a couple of hours, lights flickered. I also had an issue with my check in. The first front desk clerk was amazing, I extended my stay an additional night and was given the same rate. Unfortunately, the next day Brent removed that extension and I had to repurchase at the current rate. Breakfast was great, not only the food but also the service. Would I stay there again, I'm not sure there seems to be alot of other options in the area.

Found the room to be clean & comfortable. Located close to I 75 which was great for locations I needed to get to. Arrived to find automatic front door was brokken & getting a cart with clothes very hard. Stopped at the desk and gave them a 4:30 am wake up call to get on the road early the next morning. That didn't happen. I check out & find a 15 dollar charge for not valet but just to park on there lot. What BS!!

There was no room service. I requested clean towels and were never received. I was there last October and the only working ice machine was on the 2nd floor. The machines are still non functional. The ceiling was peeling and so was the bathtub. It’s way below Hilton standards,

I had an excellent stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Ft. Lauderdale SW/Miramar. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making check-in a breeze. The hotel rooms needs refurbishing. More directly, the ac unit was operating very loudly and rackety... They claimed to have replace, but, the replacement was only a fraction better. Also, the bath tub requires recoating or replacing. Makes your pensive about entering. Those conditions are not for the scornful.

Staying at this hotel with my 2 kids for 7 days is my worst experience ever 😔😔, since the first day I realized they didn’t even do nothing in the room before give it to us, it was late once I get in the bed my whole body started itching and my oldest child 7 years old been telling me the same thing and we were in two different bed, when checked out what’s going on I realized the sheets are all so dirty, the room have very bad smell, dirty carpet floors, old and stinky microwave, sofa bed ripped and very dirty, trash can inside the room and the bathroom smells and dirty, they only did services every other day and they keep asking are you sure you want services.. I would never going back there and referred this place to family and friends 😔😔😡 I have pictures of everything

The bed was comfortable. However the shower was nasty. You can see mold on the shower ceramic where you cut it on and adjust the temperature. The room was rusty in areas and out dated. Not worth the price.

Its time for a total renovation. The bathtub is peeling, dirty grout, old dingy furniture, and the ice machine hasn't worked in 3 years. It use to be nice and clean and now it is old, outdated, and the room doesn't smell fresh and clean. We use to live in the area and out of habit I've been using this hotel since 2016. I'll try some of the other hotels in the area on my next visit.

Since we entered this hotel we could smell a bad odor. They have something spraying the entrance so they can hide the smells but it isn’t working. When we got to our room, the carpet look disgusting, was wet, and the room smelled like mold. My husband who is terribly allergic to mold got sick right away. The bathroom had ants. The ceilings were peeling off. The water was not draining. We spent one night there and my husband didn’t sleep at all and woke up looking and feeling horrible. We were on the 4th floor and the window was unlocked and we were able to open it fully. Very dangerous since we also had our two kids with us. Overpriced hotel…more like a motel i would say…terrible experience. We had to go to the hotel across the street.

Good room, convenient, pool was nice Helpfull staff, nicely stored off the shelf food area for cravings On the minus side my room was right over the Hvac. I was given another room 1 floor ......over the hvac too.... a little noisy. Rooms was spacious and hotel looked renovated.

Room 229: There is definitely room for improvement in certain areas. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi was down from the time we arrived on Friday until we checked out on Sunday, which was quite inconvenient. At check-out, I inquired about any possible compensation. The front desk staff member initially informed me that she couldn’t authorize anything herself and that I would need to speak with the manager, who was not available at the time. She did, however, provide me with his contact information and informed me that she was able to waive the parking fees. Therefore, confirming that the $100 deposit held on my card would be refunded. She also stated she would leave a message regarding there being no wi-fi service during my stay In terms of the room, there were a few maintenance issues: the bathtub appeared worn and in need of refinishing, so I used slippers while showering. Some of the bathroom floor tiles were loose and should be re-adhered. The toilet paper on the holder was not replaced with a fresh roll—it appeared half-used, which was not ideal. Additionally, the walls were quite thin; when the A/C turned off, my children and I could clearly hear activity from the neighboring room, which was uncomfortable. I ended up turning on the TV to mask the noise. Despite these concerns, the hotel stay met our basic needs.

Pillows were horrible and coffee maker was dirty, clogged and not working. Had to call housekeeping three times, six hours apart to get extra pillows and pillows were as thick as a Q tip. I mean horrible

The facility was mediocre. The room was so humid that my clothes in the closet were wet. No other room in the facility was anywhere near that humid. The lamps in the room had rust on them. It was just run down. I woyld not return

The air conditioner gave the room a damp smell and feel. We had to open the window a few times to get the “dampness” out. But it wasn’t that big of a deal to us, so we kept it moving. Loved our stay!

I had a great stay. The location was perfect for me, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean and a good size. I was in 528. The only thing I would have loved was if the water pressure in the shower was greater. I love a high pressure shower. Besides that everything was great.

I was unimpressed with the cleanliness of the property. The first room we were in had ants so we had to move. The front desk clerk was apologetic and was extremely polite and moved our room without any hesitation. I definitely wouldn’t recommend to anyone based upon the upkeep of the place. However the customer service was superb.

Hilton always delivers a quality stay. We received a digital check in but found out that our key would not activate until actually checking in to the front desk. That caught us off guard since we were waiting in our car for the digital key to activate. Please be more clear about check in procedures when given a digital key. We finally went in to find out that the digital check in meant that a desk visit was necessary to activate the key. The directions clearly stated that we did not need to check in and to simply wait for the key to activate. That was a first and made no sense since we uploaded all info requested to include our Hilton CC. The condition of the room however clean showed uncharacteristic wear with worn carpet and a slippery shower. And … breakfast was $14 + and nothing special. Free breakfasts at all other Hiltons is what we have come to expect and appreciate! Lastly !!!! as Hilton members, why did we get a better rate on Hotels.com? That makes no sense. Hilton members discount rate evidently is nothing special. Leaving on a good note: nice people at the desk, comfy bed, good location, clean room!

When traveling, I always stay at a Hilton property because I expect a level of service and standard with my accommodations which I love the Hilton brand. Upon check-in, my room was already pre-paid so I was only expecting the hold to be placed for incidentals. I was charged again for the full amount of the reservation and then told by the representative it didn’t go through on her end so I ended up having to re-book and then be charged a 3rd time. Plus incidentals. I showed her the email confirmation and the withdrawal of the charges and she still wasn’t able to honor it. It was such an inconvenience and having my money held for several days for a 1 night stay. The representative was essentially useless in trying to resolve the matter saying there was nothing she can do or no one to escalate it to. The room was decent. Bathroom and furniture outdated. I had a suite. Sofa bed was uncomfortable. Springs protruding through the mattress. The bathroom needed touch ups. The water pressure in the bathroom was very low including toilet and faucet. Only plus, main beds were comfortable. Upon entering the room, immediate stench of “wet” greeted us. Moldy odor and stale smoke lingering. Possibly because of carpet. Carpet was also damp. Socks were wet and we ended up having to either walk barefoot or keep our shoes on while in the room. I’ve definitively had better experiences with Hilton. Will not be returning to this location or recommend it to other family and friends.

There was a stressful mix-up for checking in. I reserved and paid for the room, in person, so that my son, after a long drive, could go into his room. The front desk person handled this, and assured me that everything was taken care of, and when my son arrived he could pick up his room key. When my son arrived, another front desk personnel tried to get my son to pay again. It was very stressful.
