This property is unique in the way it is set up with open floors for fresh air and amazing views. The pool was always busy but never overcrowded and the staff taking pool side orders were friendly and attentive. A very special shoutout to the room service staff, they not only replenished the towels but made sure that there were no traces of the sand we dragged in from our numerous trips to the beach. The complimentary water and beach side chairs are a plus. With complimentary van service to and from the beach, this hotel has it all. Don't hesitate, especially if you are traveling with kids, this is a family friendly hotel.

The view was so beautiful from our room. A very dreamy vacation, with the palm trees and Gulf views. Clean and updated hotel rooms. We travelled with our toddler, and the area felt very safe. The pool was a lot of fun (great hours, as well!) Walking distance to renting jet skis, paddle boards, kayaks, boats, etc., and walking distance to a cute strip mall with small businesses - clothing stores and dining options. Will definitely be back!

Pool is small for the size of the property. Every pool seat is covered with a towel or a toy by 8am while no one is at the pool and people come back to their chairs hours later. You only get 2 beach chairs per room so 2 people in our room were without chairs. Beach isn’t walking distance.

We had a beautiful weekend the resort is wonderful but 25.00 a day for parking on top of what the room is. This is ridiculous you should at least get one spot with your stay. It’s pretty obvious they rent out spaces to people nor staying there too. Parking seems to be a money grab.

The property advertises that you will receive a beach umbrella 2 chairs at the beach. What they don’t tell is that for the 1000 Plus rooms they only have 30 sets of loungers and umbrella’s. Not nearly enough even if you get there by 9am. Very disappointing.

I originally chose this property for the great kids pool, splash pad and sand box which they have! They also have a great view of the Bay, they are right across from the Sand Key Park and very close to the beach/downtown Pier shopping area which is a free to trolley ride away. They have a little cafe with yummy gelato, a kids education center that you can pay (I believe it was $10 an hour) to have your kids watched and taught at the same time, a little spa (a spa is a spa doesn’t matter how big it is!) and restaurant/bar. Very quiet for how child friendly it is and they also have an adorable parrot that is upfront a few hours out of the day for the kids to get a picture with and draw a picture of. Loved this stay and will stay again with the kids!

First time staying with 4 kids. The room was ok. View of the bay on one side and the gulf at the door. Decent size room for everyone to move around in. Pullout couch was unbearable to sleep on. Fast elevators. Friendly staff at the front desk. Pool lounge chairs had the most disgusting stains on the cushions! They need to be replaced! The pool towels are so paper thin and cheap as if they have been around since the 80’s! I’ve never seen anything like it and this is a Marriott?? Pool was also dirty. It needs to be deep cleaned. There was a film on the side of the pool where my kids were able to use their fingers to draw a picture on it and it stayed! About 4 inches above the pool water had this grayish film on the tile. Cabanas were ok. They were a little dirty but nothing too bad. Only outlets for you to charge a phone was above your head by the TV so you needed to get on a chair to reach it. Cabana staff was prompt and very friendly. Food was ok at the resort. I don’t think we’ll be back because of conditions with the pool area.

I didn’t get one good night of sleep here. It was so noisy. In our room there was blood on the curtains and I asked room service to clean it which they promised. No one ever showed and we were left to try to close the curtains with it on there.. so disgusting and unsanitary. The next day it was cleaned but was still visible. The location also was good but the bay smells when the water recedes. The balcony railing in our room was loose and unsafe. The pool was nice but way too many ppl inside, not enough chairs and they ran out of towels. I did prefer this location instead of the other hotels bc of the location but probably would go with another hotel next time. Cleaning definitely needs to be a priority here. My shower attachment had mold crusted all the way around the handle and the walls were brown with water stains. I brought lots of cleaning wipes so I did a thorough cleaning myself but I don’t feel like I should have to do that especially with paying for a hotel. I was disappointed with this stay at Marriott.

Well, beds were too small, there was no way for 2 adults to sleep on one bed. We are an average 5’10” 180 lb and 5’5” 160 lb and couldn’t fit in the bed. The AC is too loud to the level that you can’t sleep. The bed sheets were dirty too. Location is good and outdoor amenities were good too

Room very noisy from the HVAC cooling tower directly below my room. Requested clean sheets from the start. Found a butt stain on the sheets not from me. Asked for anther room, was denied at the front desk. Could not stay another minute. Was very disappointed, this stay was my daughter birthday surprise. Very hard to believe they treated us so poorly since we are locals to this site.

Checked in, no one offered to help us with our bags which is very odd at an American hotel, our first room was on the third floor and was very tired. Curtains wouldn’t close properly and then the neighbours were outside on their balcony having a very drunk chat before some chundering in the toilet. Called reception and they quickly moved us to the 8th floor which has recently been refurbished (repainted) but the curtains still didn’t close properly so we were awoken in the morning. When we checked out we made our disappointment known to the desk staff who offered a very half hearted apology and nothing else to remediate the issue (a complaint will be following). Coffee in the rooms was rubbish with only 2 tiny milks and sugars to share as a couple - crazy.

Our stay at the Marriott for spring break was great. Location was good, customer service from any and all employees was honestly fantastic - they were on point for everything and displayed the Marriott service the company is known for. The rooms were a nice size, having the extra space was really nice for a longer stay. The housekeeping was very good as well, very prompt etc. Only thing I would say is in the rooms themselves, the cabinets and storage were more “beat up” than I would have expected since the hotel was just remodeled. Also, out front of the hotel, on the walkway to the parking lot and in front of the spa area, is where everyone goes to smoke- so it smells. A good pressure wash a few times a week would probably improve this spot tenfold. All the other facilities were great.

Overall the stay was great in all aspects except ONE. the REfrigerators in the suites are set WARMER than the room temperature? NOT COLD at all. i had medications that had to be refrigerated - and I chose the hotel for the minibar and fridge. I called front desk - the maintenace crew came up immediately and replaced it - the replacement was worse than the first one. the worker showed me the thermostate on the back was up to the highest level - but it was WARM? We kept having to put bags of ice in the unit which would melt and leak all over the floor. We finally had to go buy a cooler and ice to keep the meds in. Upon checkout - i mentioned to the front desk - who gave me about a $25 credit. Come on Marriot - I expected better. if we are paying $300 a night you can't put in a fridge that actually works and is not set so high things spoil? That being said -the STAFF at this place are amazing and a friendly as can be.

The Marriott was fantastic, the staff was so friendly and great with our family. Our room was clean and smelled fresh. Only downside was that we wished there was a kitchenette and the room is long a narrow, but overall, we will return! Loved our stay.

Heist the room attendant was very friendly, asking us if we needed extra towels or any issues with the room. Also Bob at the front door was outstanding, we had a few rooms and were 6 adults. Bob did not miss a beat offering us waters and offering to take us on the golf cart to the beach. The entire crew was 5 stars and more. We will certainly recommend to our friends and families to stay at this property.

The hotel was generally really nice with beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately the building works going on at 6am most mornings kind of ruined the experience. I understand that maintenance needs to take place some time but it should be done at a reasonable hour. Staff were completely unresponsive to the multiple complaints from guests.

The service staff was incredibly, attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend their restaurant. I had the best pork chops ever, thanks to the recommendation of Kevin our waiter. He made us feel at home. In general everyone staff members was wonderful. I can’t wait to go back.

As always we had Ann awesome time. The front desk workers was very snooty and uptight no matter who was on duty. However the bellhops were always happy and willing to help which is why I dropped them 20 each time I saw them. Little things like a smile go a far war.

Large, well-appointed room. Not quite walking distance to the middle of the Clearwater Beach action, but that's not necessarily a negative. Not a 5-star, but that's okay, too. Great choice for the price when staying in the area. Several reasonable dining options in the strip center next door to the hotel. Quiet part of the beach is an easy walk away.

Highly recommend this property. Ideal & quiet location in South Clearwater Beach. The lively North Beach area is easily accessible in just a few minutes with free the trolley ride to & from the hotel. Easy walk to beach & picturesque views of Clearwater Bay. Staff & property were excellent, although the area is a bit of a tourist trap & therefore quite expensive. My only (minor) quibbles - not a lot of ‘extras’ with our package (i.e.: even had to pay for parking & only got free wifi due to my Marriott Bonvoy membership). Also, there should be a kids hot tub. The only hot tub was constantly occupied by the young kiddies - one of whom spent his time picking his nose & then ‘disposing’ of his little nasal treasures in the hot tub water. Not the hotels’ fault of course. There is a kids area in close proximity to the main pool area, but it didn’t seem to be used much. Would be an ideal location for a ‘kids only’ hot tub. Anyways, we loved this property & already looking at booking again.

The hotel is well located & has a free trolley across to clearwater which is really fun! There are also shops & restaurants next door although the food & bars at the hotel were excellent & the service by all staff we encountered from reception to cleaners, waiting & bar & pool attendants everyone was outstanding! The pool area was clean & they had pool toys for the kids & activities. I can not recommend this hotel enough we loved it! Thank you!

The hotel layout allows you a private view of the intercostal on one side and a outside view of the Gulf of Mexico on the other to enjoy a nice sunset Very nice pool area with drink servers and right next door to the famous and fabulous Colombia restaurant

Enjoyable getaway. The property is walkable to some shops and restaurants and complimentary trolley service into Clearwater was great. The beach is a little far from the property (they will shuttle you by golf cart which we didn't use) and you have to rent chairs/umbrellas so if you are looking for a beach vacation, this may not be the place for you.

We stayed at the Marriott in Clearwater Bay and had a wonderful experience. The room was spacious and perfect for our family of four, with very comfortable beds and a lovely view of both the sea and the pool. The hotel is set in a quiet, safe area where we felt comfortable walking around. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the beach, but the shuttle bus was a convenient option too. The food at the hotel was very good, and there were also some nice restaurants nearby. The pool area is on the smaller side, but it was always clean and tidy, with activities running throughout the day to keep things lively. Overall, it’s a lovely hotel that made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We’d definitely visit again.

So happy we picked this hotel. The pool was excellent, the splash pad area was excellent. Perfect location directly across from the beach. We rented a car so we could go whenever but the shuttles Looked to be running all the time. View from the balcony was also excellent. Staff super friendly. We drove through downtown Clearwater beach area where all the other hotels are located and I am so happy I picked to stay where we did. Close to everything but away from the overcrowded areas. Great great stay

Beautiful location and property! Front desk staff and poolside staff were friendly and helpful. Easy walk to the beach. Trolley every 30 minutes to Pier 60 and Clearwater Beach was so helpful. No need for a car. We will be back!

I live in Florida I would think that the fruit would be better at a Florida Marriott The breakfast fruit was terrible. The breakfast waitress staff was not friendly. I realize people steal from buffet but I felt like I was being stared at. The staff at the pool bar was above average.
