This property was fantastic! Only 1.5 miles to monuments. Lots to do around the hotel. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Bar and restaurants were great. Staff so friendly and accommodating. I will be back. If you do not do valet parking, know that the parking garages close between 10 and 11 pm and you cannot get in or out.

Nice room with plenty of space. Nice restaurant for brunch and dinners. Plenty of options near by for dining and shopping. The A/C unit made a racket when coming on or turning off waking us during the night. The elevator made a LOT of odd noises that was concerning while in the elevator. Employees said it has been like that for a while. Overall a great stay at a fair price.

I’d highly recommend upgrading the elevators, especially for guests with higher flights. A few times in my stay the elevator was not working and remained stuck until I had to wait for one of the other two. A upgrade needed there. The air conditioning was very loud. Understandable for cutting on and off but there was a loud bang on ours all night long. Besides that, I loved the staff and valet. Room was very nice, hotel was walkable and drivable to my activities and I would stay again.

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Room was nice and spacious, however beds were very noisy/creaky and the temperature control wasn't working very well. Parking is $50 per night, you can probably use one of the garages nearby for less.

Upon arrival I was told that there would be a $35 "facility fee" for all guests. After I complained that this was not advertised properly the receptionist said that they would waive the fee. However, after I checked out I was still charged a $35 fee. If you want to jack up the rates then just do so, stop the scam with such fees.

Sadly the hotel has become quite basic and cheap. I’ve stayed here many times but unfortunately this will be my last. They used to include breakfast for free which they have now stopped. They also used to use fantastic L’Occitane products which they have now replaced with AWFUL cheap synthetic ones. The gym was also really run down and basic with equipment not working. I usually stay many times a year here, around 20 days a year in total but there I won’t be going back after my recent stay. They have been taken over by a company callled Eurostars who, for some reason, think clients now want a cheap and basic experience. We don’t.

1. Gym infested with bugs. Had to abandon workout during press-up as wrists and ankles were attacked by insanely itchy bug bites. 2. Loud air con - it only ran on high fan, so it was pretty noisy. Luckily, I had earplugs, which muffled it enough. Also, they charge a “resort fee”… for what? The Lazy River that floats past my cabana??! It’s a city hotel for goodness sake!

At first glance it was nice and elegant. We arrived late so we checked in, put our things in the room and went to eat. We were pretty tired when we came back so we went straight to bed. In the morning when we went in the bathroom to get cleaned up and saw the toilet had dried up urine on the back of it. The tub faucet was broken and the bathroom sink had the hot and cold sides reversed. Not encouraged to return.

For what I paid almost 1k for two nights the rooms were very dirty and outdated. Peeling tub and sink, black mold in the shower and in the floor and hair in the bedding and on towels. I even found a stain in the bed very disappointing I travel to DC a lot and won’t be back.

The hotel has a great location, needs updates in Some areas, my complain is about housekeeping, they don’t clean your rooms, just bring clean towels and that is all, the phone in our room wasn’t working and we had to go to the reception every time that we need clean cups for our coffee, etc

Overall, the hotel is quite nice from the lobby to the restaurant. The check in was quick. It’s in a great neighborhood. The main challenge is housekeeping. We stayed 2 nights and our room was not cleaned after the first night (we were gone from 9AM to 10PM). I told the front desk the next morning and he made a note to have our room cleaned. It was then cleaned, but we ended up with 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel for a double room. Housekeeping needs to be improved. You also pay an amenity fee, so the rooms should be refreshed with new water.

We had not previously heard of this hotel but it was a pleasant surprise. Nice spacious rooms, very clean, and good amenities. Restaurant is very good too. Convenient and safe neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again.

Check in was terrible, no acknowledgment of status and unpleasant person. Room wasn’t very clean, found hair on bed. They don’t clean each day, which if I’d known I wouldn’t have booked. Air conditioner barely worked. After multiple great stays in the past, this experience has changed my desire to return.

The first room we were Given was an ADA suite with a Queen size bed (we booked a King), a terrible smell and and incredibly load HVAC. We asked to change and the room we ended up with was good but the internet did not work (an issue when you have work to do.) Disappointing experience for a “luxury” hotel.

This hotel was so nice and staff at the front desk were so friendly. The only thing that others need to keep in mind is that the walls are thin… we could hear everything. A dog a few rooms down was howling until about 3am. It didn’t bother us too much cause we brought a travel fan that blocked out some noise and the room fan was loud as well which helped.

The air conditioner in the room is ridiculously loud, we had to turn it off to be able to fall asleep. The wall is super thin, I can hear my neighbors talking and walking. The room is very spacious though.

Our stay at the St. Gregory was overall a fine experience. However, we were looking for what it was advertised as: a luxury, four-star hotel. The bathrooms were older without any ventilation and the beds were uncomfortable with pilled linens. The photos of the listing are beautiful as is the hotel's website. However, the reality of the situation is just an okay hotel disguising as a luxury accommodation.

Overall, very nice hotel! Restaurant, bar, and front desk staff were great but housekeeping was lacking for sure (never cleaned our room 3rd day, called and asked them to bring up coffee pods so we could at least have coffee the next AM. They did this while we were at dinner... but didn't bother to include any creamer)!!! My biggest gripe is that for rooms facing M Street, the street lights are SUPER bright and the hotel's black-out drapes are... lacking. We did not sleep at all night #1. After that, we had to use binder clips to hold the drapes closed and shoved jeans beneath the (too short) black-out drapes. Lastly, when our a/c unit cycled on it sounded like a 747 during lift-off.

The hotel is nice, but the service is trash. I had to ask for my room to be turned over daily, and I always needed to call down for towels; the front desk staff didn't care. Too much money is spent on poor service. I spoke to the front desk multiple times during the 9-day stay and expressed this was a work trip. I still came back, and the room wasn't turned over, and there were no clean towels.

We were in town for a college graduation. Very convenient location for restaurants and shopping too. Overall service was fantastic. Great folks at check in and housekeeping. We needed extra pillows and bedding for sleeper sofa. Housekeeping responded quickly and even made up the bed perfectly which we weren’t expecting. Very nice restaurant and lounge area with decent menu if you need a convenient and tasty option. Warm cookies and chilled water in the lobby were a nice touch. Would highly recommend!

Poor customer service and was booked in a room that had a defective heater and took long for staff to attend to the problem. The room was cold . I was so inconvenienced by changing rooms twice in my 3 nights vacation.

While quaint, this hotel was understaffed. Waits to check in, get your car, ask questions, etc where way too long. Multiple occasions the food service staff went looking for the front desk clerk, the hub of everything. Service did not seem like it was a priority.

Great location less than a 10 minute walk to the Metro. Many restaurants, bars and convenience stores within a 5 minute walk. From hotel doors to the national mall via the metro about 25 minutes. The room was nice the staff friendly and knowledgeable. I parked in a garage about 800 feet from the hotel and saved $30 a day and had access to my car as opposed to using their valet service. A great stay!

You can’t find a better location in Washington DC this hotel. It’s walkable to virtually everything. There are many great restaurants nearby and whether it’s for tourism or business, it’s an excellent choice.

Check in was fairly easy and our room was available upon arrival. Marcel got us checked in and explained our dining options. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom could us some renovations, as the tub show signs of rust. There’s an adjoining restaurant that’s decent. The restaurant’s evening hostess sat us and then came back after we’d ordered to try and move us for a large party. We just headed upstairs to our room instead of relocate.

Excellent and very large comfortable room. One of the nicest rooms I’ve ever stayed in. We however were not impressed by the overpriced restaurant. We used our “required to pay” resort fee $25 coupon for breakfast, but it didn’t even cover half the cost for two people. On our second day we opted to eat elsewhere.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Check in and out was a breeze. Valet super nice and fast with in/out privileges. Its worth it to not worry about garage parking hours. Enjoyed the large size of the room, with large closet, desk space, and bathroom. Loved the Duke Ellington Bistro for dinner. Ideal location for us, north of Georgetown, south of Dupont. Check out the Tatte bakery and Blank Street cafe nearby. No complaints at all. We plan to stay again with our dog next time.

The St. Gregory Hotel is wonderful. It's very well styled with a great bistro and bar located inside. The rooms are large and clean. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. If you are a light sleeper, know that the heater in the rooms is loud when it cuts on. It's an excellent location for dining and walking distance to the metro and shopping. We would definitely stay here again.

The internet access has been sketchy at best, and that is the only "complaint" I would have with the hotel. The staff is fabulous, the restaurant (food and service) excellent, the rooms wonderful, and the location cannot be beat for convenience to everything DC has to offer.

Gym has been neglected for over 6 different visits. - A/C in the humid gym room is a recipe for heat stroke - Gym had bugs on the towels. - Scheduled rooms are never ready - Dirty/Blood stained bed sheets not being replaced Prior to the EUROSTARS buy out I never had any issues like this, under them it's consistently been a disaster.

I was electricutet by the toilet paper holder. The staff didn’t believe me until they felt it themselves. Room 902 I was downgraded to a worse room, but got a "complimentary" breakfast. They later asked if i was okay, i told them no but i told them i would hope they got it fixed. They just told me maybe? This has propably been one of the most expensive hotels i have stayed at, and yet it has been one of the worst.

The room was very clean as well as roomy and the staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Things I appreciated was that the rooms included bath robes, instead of an iron a steamer was provided, staff was very helpful by providing us with umbrellas the day that it rained. Will definitely recommend this hotel - specifically the location - to anyone traveling in DC.
