It was a great place to stay, just wish they had dish soap/sponge for dishes in kitchen and hand soap for bathroom. Also had two washers and only one dryer, took about 3 hours to do four loads of clothes.

We enjoyed our stay here with our 3 older children and have zero complaints. The property was close, convenient and a lot was within walking distance. It was nice having the valet and the service was quick. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was filling and we had no issues. We were even surprised with the complimentary wine and snacks on Wednesday as that was a relaxing treat after being out most of the day. We loved the city and will definitely be back.

Laundry room awful only have 2 washers and 1 dryer for the entire hotel. Only option is vallet parking and is $62 per day. So be prepare to pay extra money for that. You can’t park anywhere else otherwise your car will be towed.

Only one elevator working and no service elevator, so the wait time was very long! Good sized rooms, but the pull-out couch bed was one of the most uncomfortable I've ever slept on. Breakfast was really good. And, Wednesday night happy hour was a nice surprise.

Would I stay at this property again? No. The location was adequate. We still had to use an Uber especially if traveling to the Capitol. The breakfast was fair, at best. The food was always cold, but at least there was cereal, yogurt, and coffee. Twice I asked the front desk to refill the conditioner, and they never did it. There were two washing machines and one dryer. One washing machine didn't work for the first couple of nights, and the dryer wasn't working on two nights. This is unacceptable especially since there are 175 rooms. We packed very little since we flew with only carry-ons. The good things were that the staff was very nice. I even ordered some umbrellas from Amazon and the staff held them until I could retrieve them.

The property was very convenient to all things DC. It was clean and beds were comfortable and a nice breakfast. The only complaint I have is having to pay $66 for parking. We only had a vehicle for one day and they said they only did valet parking. It was $56/day with $10 tax. We parked there for less than 24 hours. I thought that was a big ripoff, but other than that- great stay!

Breakfast was good until we found bed bugs crawling on our body’s from sitting in the lobby to eat.. area is too far to walk to places, Lyft is your best option. Our friend also had to make a report about bed bugs in her bed. After they cleaned her room she was notified that they did indeed find bed bugs. She thought she was refunded, but it looks like they never refunded her.

Found a roach in the room second day morning, reported to the front desk. They seemed ask the terminator to come and spray and it wool a little while for them to confirm when I called, which made me wonder if they ever did. Overall staff is friendly.

Tina at the front desk was very polite. However, upon entering the room, we encountered a cockroach resting on the sofa, and kindly asked for another room. The new room assigned smelled awful. We decided to take our chances with the original room booked. Later that night, there were two additional cockroaches found by the bathroom. One of my family members did not get any rest that night (we hid the additional bugs from her). It was the first time I visited DC. My family traveled from the Caribbean for the holidays. This was not a pleasant experience (with the exception of my interaction with Tina who tried to help). I hope that the property keeps it word and offers some type of refund. I cannot recall the last time I had such a negative experience with a Travelocity booking. The property was not in the condition that was presented on the Travelocity website at all.

I liked the adjoining rooms. Did not like the location of the rooms which were right next to the elevator, which was not easy to block out. Our last morning there we had an early flight and the whole hotel water was out!! Not good!

Easy walk to the White House. Complimentary continental breakfast. Coin operated laundry. We had a 1 bedroom unit with full kitchen and sofa bed in living room. Room 708. Spacious and in good condition for the age of the property. No opening windows but fortunately good air conditioning.

The hotel was fine, pretty average. Continental breakfast was pretty good actually. Staff at front desk was friendly but not a ton of amenities and rooms need some upgrades. The water in the bathroom sink came out milky and it smelled like weed everywhere. Room ac also musty. Again, it was fine. We enjoyed our stay but nothing super memorable.

Great breakfast options ,good location thats all good. Lack of parking . I was told over the phone that they will park my van for fee but when arrived 9pm with family they said no parking for my van. They left us on our own. Manager rude and unprofessional, front desk just dont wanna help. They dont even tell me that i can park for free on street overnight. When i drive around to look for parking gentleman from other hotel told me that i can park on street for free until 7am! How hard was to say that from desk? From 7am we pay for street parking and left this hotel. Minor stuff but only one elevator was working which was a little disturbing in am but ok. Tub clogged but those can happen i guess.

This hotel is in an extremely poor spot. There is construction next door, Uber drivers invariably goof up as the street directly leading to the hotel is almost always blocked. Facilities, beds were mostly okay room service/house keeping was fine. The morning breakfast lady was awesome, both of them. Diligent and quick considering how many folks they were feeding. Problems: The shower was like a jet spray no way to adjust. Front desk while checking in assured me that there is laundry facility with coins and they usually give us coins. We loaded our laundry in the washer on the last day and walked up the front desk. The bell man tells us there are coins and the front desk says (quote: talk to management they dont leave us enough coins at front desk). We were also told to get change from CVS. We got mugged there when we went to buy some groceries. I came back and told front desk this and multiple times we requested them to spare us some change. Our stay was for 5 days and bill upward of 2k. We were fortunate fo find another fellow guest who shared a few. One of the drier is out of order. I did notice another review mentioning this. From the condition it was in you could tell, it has not been attended too. Finally they charged me some extra charge on my card saying a refund is in progress. Just stay away from this place. Only if this place was run well.

Tina took the time to listen to my needs and went above and beyond to assist me. She even followed up with a thoughtful text message to ensure I was satisfied with my stay and offered further assistance if I had any questions or needed anything else. The room was spotless, and the mattress was very comfortable, which made for a restful and relaxing night. The breakfast buffet had a great selection, and every staff member I encountered was courteous and attentive. Overall, I had an excellent experience and will definitely be returning. I highly recommend this location to others.

I had called ahead of our stay with some questions, and the staff were very helpful in providing options. When we were ready to check-in, they remembered our conversation and followed-up on how things were going the next day. I was there for work and walked about 20 min to the convention center. My family was with me and took the train, which was a 10-min walk away, to go to museums and the zoo. There were good restaurants within walking distance.

We stayed here last weekend as a family of five & found the accommodations just right for us. The hotel has been recently remodeled, so everything felt fresh. We had a room with two queens and a queen sofa sleeper bed, which accommodated our two teen boys and 9 year old daughter perfectly. I was able to do a load of laundry while here as there are laundry facilities available onsite ($2 to wash, $2 to dry—bring your own soap and dryer sheets & quarters if you can). Breakfast hit the spot each morning and front desk service was always helpful/friendly. Valet Parking is expensive, but upon searching for alternatives, found it was less than overnight parking nearby. The only challenge for us was the walking distance to things. Wish it was closer to the mall, but I’m not deducting stars for that as the hotel itself was great!

Would not recommend. Hotel is not in a good location. They charge almost 60 a day to park to your car, we waited one day over 40 minutes for the car. When you’re showering, little black things come up from the drain. Absolutely disgusting and dissatisfied for the price.

The breakfast was fantastic. The room was comfortable We had our family of four - two 12 years old boys - in a room with two queens and a sofa. It worked out really well. Anyone who says the breakfast is less than a 10 is unable to please. It was great. Check in was a little bumpy, but it was worked out very quickly and there is not much of a view, but overall, for the value this was a fantastic deal. We would definitely stay again.

The staff was nothing but amazing to us. They took care of us the minute we arrived. Homewood offered us the best breakfast that we have ever had! The lobby was cozy and large enough to space out. We truly enjoyed our stay!
