Stayed 1 night

In general, the room the room appeared nice and clean initially but as we relaxed we noticed the comforter(blanket) was frayed and worn exposing the inner fill material. The pillows were not as comfortable as others on our trip. The phone charger was not working and we determined the electrical outlet was not operational. To use the phone charger, we had to relocate the device to another outlet. However, when moving the charger, the table lamp cord was tied together with the charger so we had to relocate both appliances to use the charger in another outlet. The bathroom was a basic combination tub/shower and somewhat cramped. The breakfast was the highlight of the hotel and satisfied the morning fuel stop and refreshed start to the new day. Overall, this Holiday Inn was a slight upgrade over a standard motel and we would most likely stay elsewhere when visiting the area.

We stayed one night because a family member had a 0030 flight. We're thankful for the airport shuttle, and that the posted pick-up times were accurate. Breakfast was good. I'm easy-going, but the lady who checked us in didn't seem happy to be there. It may have been a busy day, but a little warmth would have gone a long way. I didn't feel welcomed. She also didn't mention the parking fee. Although an e-mail about it was sent via Hotels.com, I only found out when I saw an extra charge and messaged the hotel for a breakdown (still no response). My suggestion: e-mail guests about upcoming charges, especially if staff don't mention them. This is the main reason for the 4 stars. The gentleman with her was more accommodating. Once he finished helping another party, he asked the purpose of our visit and directed us to the shuttle schedule. The room was clean, but the shower soap dispenser wasn't working. Not a big deal, since we could use the shampoo and the sink's bar soap, but everything in the room should work. We'd consider staying again, but with many nearby hotels offering shuttle service, this one would be our last choice.

It was the best IHG hotel that we have stayed in todate and we stayed in quite a few. It was a an overnight stay from the airport. The only thing is and it was actually kind of funny and not a problem was that our room view was into a parking lot that had lots of cardboard boxes, and pallets.
