Hilton Garden Inn Oxnard/Camarillo

The hotel was nice. The room was clean and spacious. The gym had working equipment in it. The hotel had an outdoor pool. The only thing I did not like is that breakfast was not complimentary. You had to pay an extra fee for the breakfast buffet. Over all, it was a nice hotel.

It was an easy, peasy check-in, room was great, updated. Bed was comfortable. The only negative was the Fitness Center. It was tiny and the aerobic equipment did not work. Not much of an area to use the weights and no bench.

We stayed there for 10 days and the entire time the hot tub was no working and we never saw anyone trying to fix it. Everything was great other than the hot tub not working and the beds are horrible and the pillows are very soft. For the price the beds should be MUCH better quality. We were so happy to get home to our own bed.

Quick check in Clean room Gym closed but a pass was provided to use at a local gym. Convenient location to restaurants less than 5 min walk. Short 10 min drive to the beach.

The king room was large, the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good but you had to pay $17.00 for it.

Hotel was okay but the hallways and elevators smelled and it was very warm inside the hotel and lobby. Tea was available all day but hot coffee was only in the morning. Smallest pool we've seen at hotels. Overall it was decent but i would not visit again.

This property was a disappointment, the lobby was nice upon entering however once got off the elevator on our floor it smelled like old dirty carpet tried to shampoo out the smell but it was a disgusting smell . Our room the odor was not as bad but smelt musty , we just turned up the a/c to get the humidity out . The furniture is very dated with knicks and scratches . Our coffee maker didn’t work but they responded rapidly and brought up a new one. I’m not trying to bash too much but honestly I’d definitely choose another property next time I’m in Oxnard. The food was good and bar was good. But the hotel needs an overhaul big time. Like getting rid of the carpets they are old and musty .

When we first walked into our room - it smelled like dirty feet. Additionally, either the carpet or the bathroom smelled like dirty wet dog. Obviously, the rooms weren't cleaned well and I felt like the towels smelled like wet dog when I was drying off. So gross. The property itself seemed well taken care of so we were expecting more. The coffee in the lobby wasn't refreshed very often & when they did refresh it, we had to wait for it. Staff was friendly. Probably wouldn't stay here again. Very disappointed for a Hilton Hotel.

The rooms had an odor that was annoying. The rooms didn’t seem clean with the remaining dust on the furniture, left over hair in the bathrooms and on the pull out sofa. The customer service was lacking - on their cell phones and leaving you waiting at the counter. Interactions were as if you were bothering them. Desk agent didn’t want to print a receipt and directed my to a 3rd party where the stay was booked. They offered food, but no menus in the rooms. You have to run downstairs and place an order. The grounds were clean, well kept, but the parking stalls need to be remarked, caused issue with the bigger vehicles taking up two spaces and blocking your vehicle door.

This is my favorite place to stay when I come to work with clients in Oxnard. The staff are always friendly and professional. The hotel is always clean. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The coffee station in the morning is a plus.

I really enjoy my stay,but the air conditioner in room 211 was really loud. Slept terrible all night long! It was bad!

The problem with this place is that it is very expensive for what you get. Sure the hotel looks nice and all but the rooms themselves are ok. The issue is that the walls are very thin so you can hear your neighbors talking and walking around. It was also strange that for the price I payed breakfast was not included

Do not stay at this Hilton, we have always trusted and loved staying at Hilton brands but this place was terrible. The bed was like a rock, with the flattest pillows, the bathroom and room we old and run down. The staff made tons of noise at night while we were trying to sleep to the point that I opened the door to let them know they are waking us up. Not sure we will do Hilton anymore unless it’s one we already know well. Trust me find a different hotel especially for the price we paid.

The kitchen/bar tender service staff was more professional and welcoming than the front desk staff. Even the gentleman that was mopping gave us a good morning smile. Thankfully the room was clean and cozy. Management really needs to train desk staff better and I mean it starts with basic manners.

this is a GREAT hotel to stay at. Muhammad (the General Manager) is a Gentleman and he manages his hotel so well, I’ve stayed here for a few MONTHS. The bar staff is top notch and the restaurant staff are fantastic as well. I recommend this property to anyone visiting Oxnard.

The alarm at the Solar Urgent Care kept going off at night and it was very loud. My window was facing the Urgent Care. I wish that the 2 young ladies in the front desk would have been a bit more friendly. There was an Hispanic male worker that was so nice to us. He answered our questions and was very friendly and kind. The room was clean, the bathroom was too. The faucet in the shower didn’t shut all the way and the running water was a bit annoying at night. Other than that the stay was ok.

1. I reported a large dog waste filled bag to the front desk just after check in as I had nearly stepped right into it... They said they would have maintenance take care of it but it was still there at 0800 the next morning when we checked out 2. We reported a leaky tub faucet. Maintenance did present for it but he stated the entire faucet unit would need to be replaced (he said many of the rooms were needing but it would take a long time). We decided due to the intrusive nature of the repair we would need sleep and couldn't have repair work done on our time. When we were getting ready for bed and the room was now quiet we realized the leak was noisy, we were getting up, wrapping the faucet with towels, placing towels at the drain... just trying to minimize the sound so we could try to sleep ~ I even called the front desk to complain about this faucet! 3. After a night of no sleep, I went to make coffee with the provided Keurig just to realize we weren't provided any bottles of water for the Coffee machine so my daughter went to get bottled waters for the coffee and she was told it would be $2.00 per bottle when the afternoon before the front desk said they were (2) bottles complimentary per person! She declined ! I certainly hope Hilton staff was not being discriminatory against my daughter who is an amazing, strong, independent person but will not return to a Hilton establishment anytime soon. I am currently requesting a refund of the $284.92~I did not get rest!

First off, Customer service was above and beyond. Super nice, to answer any questions you may have to your satisfaction/ fairly quickly to check you in if you reserved your stay in advance.

Check in was not great, no hospitality at check in. The Resturant was great very hospitable and friendly waitress staff, made me feel at home. The food was great, I would come back just to eat without being a guest. The chef definately knows what he is doing, pays attention to detail. The Resturant made if for the lack of hospitality at check in.

Drove down to LA for week-end trip from No. Cal. This was the perfect location to stop at Friday night and start from Sunday morning on our trip home. Very convenient to shopping and restaurants. Clean and we got what we expected out of the hotel.

I STAY HERE EVERY TIME I COME TO WORK IN OXNARD SPECIFICALLY FOR THE RESTAURANT. The staff is awesome and the BRAISED SHORT RIB DINNER IS WORTH THE PRICE OF THE ROOM! I wish the shower put out HOT water but aside from that, best hotel in the area.

Breakfast/bar was terrible and so was the service in the dinning area. I’ve stayed here numerous times and the service in the dinning area has never been so bad.

It’s m favorite place to stay for my business travel. It’s close to everything if I need anything, the customer service is always awesome, the food in the restaurant is delicious and my room is always clean, cozy & comfortable.
