Staff were very pleasant and kind as well as helpful with suggestions for dining and directions. Only two disappointments. I felt the breakfast was poor. Have been to Hampton Inns in other states and this was prob the worst for quality of food and variety. Second disappointment was the pool. Cute and water twmp was good however no one bothered to skim/clean the pool. It qas off putting to want to get on with leaves and debris floating and across the bottom. Otherwise it was a good experience.

Bathtub was very discolored and dirty looking. Elevators were out of service, ice machine was broken. Large amount of Food crumbs in hallway outside our room when we checked in and 2 days later at check out they were still there. Extra fee for parking we weren’t aware of even though the lot is unsecured . We would not stay there again.

Good location close to hiking trails, restaurants and stores. Room was nice and comfortable. Unfortunately the pool was closed for construction during our stay which we planned on using after hiking each day. So this was extremely frustrating. In the hotel description breakfast hours said 6am daily. At check-in we discovered it was actually 6:30am daily which impacted our ability to be on the hiking trails early which is important when the temperatures are high 90’s. Also there is a $17.00 per night parking fee. For all those reasons I would not stay here again.

The property was fine, nothing special other than Amy the front desk agent who was very helpful and pleasant. The water in the pool and hot tube was dirty. Breakfast was fine, nothing to write home about. My biggest complaint was the charge for parking $17 a night, it was a parking space on the property, not a parking garage, not a valet parking situation, just a space in the lot around the property. It was a notification in the hotel.com site I missed, to go back and view it I found I had to drilled down a bit to find the notification. Not a happy surprise, we had stayed at another Sedona property, there was not a charge for parking. Just doesn't seem necessary or welcoming to your guests.

First off, what I didn't like: $17 parking fee, maybe it was mentioned but I didn't know about it until I checked in. The fresh juice/smoothie bar: there wasn't one. I was looking forward to that. But the room was nice, the breakfast was excellent and our stay was pleasant.

Paying for parking is a scam. Not happy at all with that. I've NEVER had to pay to park on site before. I'm EXTREMELY disappointed with that.

Beautiful location, exterior of the property was attractive. Interior was run down, old and unclean. Pool was disgusting and unmaintained, the filter clearly hadn't run in the week before our stay with gross things floating in the water and mud all over the floor and steps. Room was old and unclean with garbage and leaves under the bed, carpet was old, faded, and stained every where. Room service never showed up to clean room while we were there. definitely not up to the standard we expected from our previous Hampton inn stays, we couldn't wait to leave.

There was a surprise $17.00 parking fee at this hotel :-( No elevator and placed on the second floor, meaning we had to carry all of our bags up two flights of stairs! If you parked around the back, you could have walked in with your luggage (second floor access), but of coarse there were no spaces available there when we arrived.

If you have issues with mold, don't stay here. Room was humid (not sure how in AZ). Mold on ceiling in bathroom and under sink edge. Paint bubbling above window. Mold also appears to be on ceiling above vent near elevator. The wallpaper appears moist and is pulling off. Room not really clean. Dust on desk top. Hand print smudges in various places. It felt dirty.

We waitied for our room and was told twenty minutes then waited another forty becuase they said they had to change the sheets. Sheets had something on them as did the comforter. We booked a king size bed. It was two bed not king size. The mattress was worn and did not make for a peaceful night. She refunded my parking and blamed Hotels.com for the mix up. Told me to call them but they had NONE!

The air system in the room had black mold all over the inside, vents and on the control panel. The fountains at the pool looked gross/ covered encrusted in mineral deposits and so clogged they couldn't run. The carpets throughout the hotel were very dirty. The breakfast was great.

Bathtub should be replaced because it looks dirty/stained. There was a pile of what looked like crumbs on the hallway floor across from our room that we noticed after our first night and stayed there until after we left 2 days later. We exchanged towels because we never had anyone change them out the entire 3 nights we were there.

I chose to stay at a Hampton because it was what was familiar and there was an expectation of quality. However, this was the worst Hampton I’ve ever stayed at. The walls were paper thin to where you could hear conversations in other rooms and the halls. The beds were uncomfortable. The pool tiles were filthy. Staff and parking were nice, and the location was great for what I wanted. Next time I’ll definitely go with a local Sedona hotel though.

We had a small room and our heating unit froze up and kept us awake the first night. They sent someone in to fix it. Second night was better but not great. It wasn’t as nice as the rest of the Hampton inns I’ve stayed in. I was disappointed

Older building that has been updated. We had a room with a balcony and gorgeous view. It was conveniently located for us as we were there for a hot-air balloon ride with the very early meetup about one mile away. Room was clean, staff was friendly.

Unless you enjoy sleeping on the world’s most uncomfortable mattress, don’t stay here. That was the worst sleep I’ve ever gotten on a vacation and my back still hurts.

The property was nice and the rooms were spacious. However, we had two rooms and one did not have a/c. They were nice enough to give us another room. Unfortunately on the day of checking out the shower did not work, water did not come out at all. In the breakfast area there was no waffle mix and when my wife asked about it they said they would have until Wednesday. To top things off the lady told my wife sarcastically “I can go buy at the store if you like”. Fortunately the lady at the reception found some and problem solved when some other people asked about it as well. Bad customer service if you ask me.

The black out blind was broken when we arrived. I informed the desk clerk and she had an employee up to our room in 10 minutes to fix it. We also had prompt service when we asked for extra towels. The elevator was out, and this made things a bit awkward for getting to our room, but we were given very good directions about where to park and enter for a second floor room. Sedona was hot, but AC worked great.

Great location to access hiking trails and neighboring towns. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was on hand at all times to keep it stocked and the area clean. The front desk clerk was very helpful with dining recommendations.

The elevator was broken. Kelcie or Kelsie at the front desk kept telling me my room was being clean upon arrival but when other guests arrived after me, they went straight to their rooms. She even said my stay would be over $240 when I paid $200. Thankfully once Fabian (after 45 minutes of waiting) came and took over, he gave me a different room right away. He also said the charge was not over $240. The whole hotel had such a bad smell to it, like chlorine, especially the lobby. It wasn’t the cleanest in the halls either with other guests leaving food etc outside their doors all day/night.

The unexpected fee of $17/day for parking upon check out was upsetting. Especially after being told we were all clear in person and reviewing the bill via email. Overall the location was convenient for doing things in Sedona. We did have an exceptional interaction with a employee named Jamie who helped us when we were about to be late for a tour due to the incredible traffic and parking problem in Sedona.

I paid over $600 for 2 nights (3 adults including my 85yo mom and my pregnant wife) and when i checked in the receptionist told me that the manager before to clock out decided to change my reservation and because they were all booked out they offered me to sleep on the floor... but they gave me the sheets thou!! They were sorry but they couldn't find a solution so... i slept on the floor and they still charged me $641

I loved the property and its location. It was nice and clean. Close to restaurants and shops nearby. Parking was close to room. Breakfast option was great. Hotel and common area was clean. Staff were very attentive and courteous, greeted me a smile and was able to accommodate an early check in; which i was very grateful.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast changed daily the three days we were there, and that was a treat! The location was great-easy access to shopping, restaurants, and major roadways. The views behind the hotel were amazing! It was quiet and the room was comfortable. Although we didn’t swim, many did! The pool was heated and looked relaxing! The only problem was traffic-it was easier to take a right and go to the next light to turn around and go to the left. The highway was busy at all times of the day! But I would still stay there again if in the area and would highly recommend others stay there, too!

We stayed 2 nights. On our first morning, we tried your breakfast. With over an hour remaining, I was surprised to see items gone. The most disturbing thing was NO napkins, not even paper towels. An employee told us they ran out days ago & we're waiting on a supplier. Why not go buy some cheap napkins? Kelsie at checkin was wonderful!

Pictures online are deceiving. The hotel is very run down. Beds are hard and pillows are flat, breakfast was terrible. Got there at 8am and hot foot was like warm, most items were gone and food area was a mess. Didn’t see one employee restocking or cleaning up.
