A nice two night stay. Very easy street parking instead of using valet service. Rooms were very comfortable and unique. A chair in the rooms would have been a nice touch since there was no seating except the beds. Rooms were nice sized and we didn’t hear any other guests so they kept all noise out. TVs were very nice. No microwave or fridge but they did offer ice and ice buckets. Lounges on first and second floor were amazing. The gym was well equipped. We were very happy with our stay

Very clean and fun hotel. Hotel personnel were friendly. My partner checked in before me and when I asked for a room card at front desk they did not ask for my ID and just gave me a room card based on last name. The valet was fast. Liked the bar and free drink tickets for staying overnight. Not quite worth the price but worth a splurge.

I had a great stay. There is valet parking, but honestly I never used it. just took advantage of the two hour parking around the area. If you move your car by 10am every morning to a new spot, you get another two hours. easy peasy. the room was clean and I like the stash closets on every floor. you can grab towels, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo conditioner, even razors and shaving cream. the coffee is yummy too.

Our first time at Moxy and we loved it. It is a smaller hotel with eclectic rooms. They have valet parking for a fee and plenty of street parking. We did not have a view from our window, but we were only there for two days. The hotel was very clean and staff was friendly. We would stay here again.

Check in and valet was easy. Once we were in for the night we noticed our room wasn’t cooling to the temperature we set it to. We called the front desk and they said they would send someone up. They never came. There was also a blood/food stain on our blanket which made me question all cleanliness. There was also a concert across the street. The noise was fine but the curtains were a thin linen and the bright lights lit up the room all night. It’s a fine place to sleep for a single night downtown but could not spend more than 1 night.

Room was clean. Cozy.Very friendly staff. Cool vibe. Great location. Do wish the bathroom light wasn't motion sensor so when someone gets up late it isn't so bright dor everyone. Also we couldn't find a switch to turn on the bathroom fan, which is nice with 4 people using it in small quarters would be nice to work/have to keep smells down. A small folding chair to sit in the room would be nice.

I travel for work and usually stay at a typical Marriott or Hilton but I wanted to try something different. I thought this hotel looked unique and it definitely was - not impressed. I felt like it used to be a strip club or brothel. The hallway to my room was dark with weird lighting and dark carpeting. My room was super tiny, no refrigerator, no closet, no desk, no view. There was just enough room to walk around the bed. The bathroom looked updated but the sink was so narrow that washing my face was a little messy. Good shower though. Won't stay again.

The hotel as a whole is very nice. We got a king room. Loved that it had hard flooring and no carpet. However the only thing in the room other then the TV was the bed. No wardrobe just 3 clothes hangers hung on the wall. No clock. No microwave no coffee maker. No refrigerator . Most disappointing was no place at all to sit other then the toilet. So if you like to walk in and just lay down this room will work. But if you'd like a chair to relax in you will need to go down to the lobby. Very uncomfortable just sitting on the bed.

Pros: Nice desk staff, good bar, great modern feel in lobby and rooms. Cons: Beds are stiff as a board and the pillows are crap, very minimalistic rooms (no fridge, desk, etc), the walls are pretty thin, late night bartender made it very apparent that she didnt want us there at 1230am. Lastly, heat/ac is centralized so keeping the room a nice temp is hard.

Very modern hotel. The room I reserved had two double beds that were separated by the bathroom, which was very nice. Everything was very clean. The beds were a bit hard, but I was still able to get a decent night sleep. This hotel is steps away from the Sylvee which was perfect for this visit. I would definitely stay again.

The location, lobby, and bar of the hotel are terrific--the location is convenient and the public areas of the hotel are inviting and comfortable. The check-in/check-out area is cramped. The rooms are small but well appointed. No coffee maker in the rooms was a disappointment, though coffee is available at no charge in the lobby. Also no closets in the rooms, which seems to be a trend in new hotels.

4pm is a pretty late check-in as it is and we got there at 4:15pm and our room was not ready. Staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean. Excellent showers. The rooms are very small tho. Very little room to do anything in but sleep. Convenient and cheap overnight parking in a garage close by

The hotel as a whole is nicely kept. But we were very disappointed in the king room. There are no chairs at all. The only thing besides a tv is the bed. The only place to actually sit is the toilet. No refrigerator no microwave no coffee pot. No clock. No wardrobe just 3 clothes hangers hanging on the wall. If all you want is to walk in and lay down then this will work. But if you want to actually relax....Walk over to the Hotel Indigo. Also $34 a night for parking. No breakfast.

Wasn’t impressed with any of the staff. Waited and wasn’t greeted when I could have multiple employees in the back room just chatting. Small crammed room, bo coffee maker in room. Very dark hallways. Wanted to see what the place was like, but don’t plan on choosing it again.

We stayed at the hotel to go to a concert at the Sylvee which is literally right next door. Perfect location near the capital too. The hotel was really nice. It is brand new and the room was really comfy and quiet. The only issue I had was the automatic lighting in the bathroom. It was a real eye-opener when it kicked on in the middle of the night during a late night bathroom visit. I could not figure out a way to turn off the sensor permanently. It came back on the next time I used the rest room even though there was an integral night light in the bathroom.

Hotel was very nice, and we had everything we needed for an enjoyable evening in Madison. Valet parking was a cinch. Our room was comfortable, and we enjoyed appetizers and drinks upstairs at Atico with a lovely view over the city. We were in town for a concert at The Sylvee which was a super easy walk around the block. Downstairs bar was hopping when we returned if that's your kind of thing. The 2 free drink tokens (poker chips) upon check-in were also a nice touch! Our room was quiet when returning to bed. Great stay!

Liked how the two beds were separated by the bathroom, it felt like separate bedrooms. Having a large tv in each bedroom area was very nice. We thought the elevator security was nice - having to use room key to go up from the lobby. Valets, when asked for walking directions to a local pub, gave directions going the longest walking directions possible! Not happy with that as we are 86 and 75 years old with walking difficulties (one of us was using a walker). The breakfast menu was very minimal, and the least expensive items were $10.00. My husband asked if he could have a piece of toast only and they told us they had no bread. No restaurants in the area is what we were told. We were told the hotel is "one step above a frat house" by other guests. We are not used to going to hotels with no pool, no ironing boards and no in room small refrigerators, and breakfast. All are perks we (and others in or block of rooms) enjoy. We were there because of the closeness to a wedding venue. Will not stay there again and the pros did not outweigh the cons.

Your complementary drink consisted of seltzer with essence of cranberry. How about soda with real juice, and a top shelf vodka. Such a great hotel and such lousy service and lousy drink. I won't return. There's plenty of awesome hotels in Madison, WI.

Super cool space, so close to everything including downtown. Small rooms- but you have everything you need and everything is new, clean and comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel was amazing with an even better wine and drink menu(the food was excellent). Such a great stay!!
