Lovely hotel in centre of Liverpool near lime st station. Free parking absolute bonus. We stay here every time in Liverpool. Made the most of Happy Hour with the delicious cocktails in the hotel bar ( Castaway) while watching sky sports. Its really close to the Empire theatre too. There was a slight musty smell in the bathroom, but nothing too bad.

Only one person on check in which meant it was slower than it could have been particularly on a busy day but she did her best to keep the service going. Rooms were spacious and clean. Bed was very big and comfortable. The complimentary use of the robe and slippers was a nice addition and good selection of hot drinks. Our room overlooked the train station and disappointingly we heard every announcement made over the station tannoy. We did plan to add breakfast on but the restaurant had no tables when we went down early Sunday so we went elsewhere. The complimentary parking was an added bonus and the hotel is close to amenities. Would stay again, would just ask for a room on the front not the back!

Hotel is right next to a train station and walking distance to the shops. Bar attached did lovely cocktails which were buy 1 get 1 free between 6-8pm. Breakfast was lovely. Bed was comfortable and room generally clean although 1 towel had marks on and radiator was very dusty which isnt great as my husband has allergies. 1 of the Ellivators wasnt working so we had to wait quite a while as it was also very small. On the whole it was good value for money and i would stay again if i visited liverpool.

Definitely a nice hotel centrally located in Liverpool. Very easy access if coming by train. Very friendly staff. I needed to work without disturbing my travel companion, and they arranged access to a private business room and even served me a cup of coffee. Excellent service. One downside is that it takes an extremely long time for the hot water to come (on the 4th floor), so a lot of water is unnecessarily wasted. Additionally, it was almost impossible to adjust the mixer tap to a comfortable temperature, as it went from ice-cold to scalding hot with only a slight adjustment

On arrival we were greeted by a friendly receptionist. The hotel is lovely and in such a great location, close to the theatre, station, museum and shops. Free parking was a great bonus as was the 2for1 happy hour from 6-10pm on Monday and Tuesday. We will be back next time we visit Liverpool.

Lovely welcome with friendly Reception to check us in. Room lovely and clean, comfortable bed. Sadly one lift out of action and one very small lift. Breakfast service wasn't the best- both coffee machines out of action despite 2 x members of staff stood around so I had to flag this up, but once done was rectified straight away. Average breakfast. Hotel is in a great location, even better that it was super close to the Empire Theatre and there was plenty of parking- free for guests. Cocktails/drinks offer reasonably priced buy would've liked more selection.

A lovely hotel with lots of little extras including robes and slippers and a nespresso machine in the room. Onsite restaurant and bar were good. Food was lovely and the staff across the hotel were friendly. Free parking close to Liverpool centre was really handy

Our stay at the liner hotel was faultless. The check in quick easy with a great welcome from the reception team. Very cheerful and informative. 2 ladies on reception were veey welcoming and efficient upon check in. The whole hotel is pristinely clean. The room was spacious , spotless and comfortable. Everythkng was modern and the little toiches such as bottled water and slippers were very much appreciated. The location is so convenient for the train station , as well as local shops , bars etc. We didnt eat here at all as we already had other plans but now i wish we did as the food looked really good and fairly priced. The bar area is again very clean and welcoming.

I have stayed at the Liner many times over the years. It really is my go-to place to stay in Liverpool. The place is spotless, the rooms are spacious and very well equipped. The staff are very friendly. What's not to like?

Workspace was good as had the executive room... comfortable sofa but TV not visible from bed. Everything we requested from reception was provided promptly... staff very friendly. Bathrooms getting dated and carpets generally worn BUT still love The Liner and will return. Location os unbeatabke with free parking... fantastic. Used our 25% off voucher for the restaurant and the food was excellent.

Reception staff were very friendly and helpful and we were able to check in early. They had allocated us a room away from the noise of the train station as requested. The room was clean with good amenities. The beds were comfortable and a fridge in the room was a bonus.

We booked this at the last minute having won tickets to a Liverpool match. The location is great, close to everything without being troubled with noise. We were given a room on the top floor and were not disturbed on either of the two nights. The room was very clean and comfortable with good facilities. The only issue was it was very warm. I would suggest a top sheet is provided allowing you to set the quilt aside. Aircon would be great but I suspect to try and retrofit that now would be expensive. The attached bar has a great happy hour(s) meaning two G&T's only cost £6.30!! A shout out also for the breakfast buffet. Normally I don't like these as they tend to be bland but this was the tastiest breakfast buffet I've ever experienced. All of the ingredients were delicious. Overall a great stay and I would recommend it to anyone.

There was no available parking so we had to pay £20 to park. This however didn’t matter as the lady on reception was just so lovely and helpful that we didn’t mind. Our room wasn’t ready for us and my husband was struggling with a migraine so rather than us wait for a room she gave us an upgrade.

Positives: location, ease of parking, breakfast, Senior management’s follow up response was good after the initial protocol for safeguarding of customers was not followed. Negatives: room safety, not following protocol to safeguard customers while sleeping in their bed, unprofessional behaviour by the security and reception team dealing with the situation immediately after it occurred.

Near to station and amenities, restaurant manager very rude needs addressing as made people feel very uncomfortable ? Infact there was only one member of staff who was pleasant , waitress kept rolling her eyes and pulling faces when asked for anything , service was very slow but food was good once it did arrive nearly and hour later , the manager needs serious training in customer care skills !!

A very comfortable hotel in the centre of Liverpool. It has its own car park and an excellent restaurant attached. Lime Street station is Next Door and within 400 m is St George’s Hall, the walker art gallery and the world Museum.

We always enjoy staying at the Liner hotel. Good central location right next to Lime Street Station. Free parking at the hotel is also a welcome bonus. Breakfast was great with plenty of hot and cold selection, rooms nice and spacious although in some rooms can hear the nearby station announcements until late at night. Haven't been put off though, this is a lovely hotel and will be back again.

Great stay had at the liner, complimentary parking was ideal and the beds were comfy, great touch with the coffee machine in the deluxe double that we stayed in. The only negative was it was very warm inside the even with the windows open and it wasn't particularly warm day/evening. There's a fan, which we had to leave on all night. But overall a great stay, I'd certainly stay again. Thanks

Great location near train station and comfortable clean room- The communal areas were clean and well maintained. We dined in the restaurant and the food was tasty and reasonably priced, the breakfast selection was excellent however we would have preferred a warm plate as food soon got cold. Overall an excellent stay

Staff welcoming but food served was not to the usual good standard that we have experienced in the pass. Bacon and sausages where dry to being hard and crispy, fried eggs had been left on the hot plate without being checked and had dried up and rubbery .beans had been standing and had skinned over. The overall available was substandard to the usual breakfast at the liner and we have stayed a few times over the years that we have been coming . Everything else was the good standard and cleanliness that we have been used to.

Hotel and room were lovely. Perfect location for the theatre. Castaway bar was nice with the happy hour between 6-8pm. We booked a meal in the restaurant for 7.30pm, not sure if the chef had gone home because the food was terrible. I had bland lukewarm soup but I was so hungry I ate it anyhow. My husband sent his starter back because it was cold, it came back hot but tasted again very bland. The Angus beef cheeseburger was bland with no frills. For £16 I would have expected more.

We only stayed or one night, but we so enjoyed it. Staff on reception were excellent. The room spotless. Central 2 for 1 cocktails were the best. Then the restaurant. Staff fabulous. The food was to die for. Definitely saying again for longer. Breakfast was fab too, well worth it. We did take the wrong door and ended up in someone's conference room lol. Overall fabulous.

Very popular hotel in a convenient location close to Lime Street Station. Room was spotless and well appointed. All areas of the hotel were very clean and tidy. Breakfast is buffet style, delicious and plentiful. We ate in the Seven Seas Brassiere from the pre-theatre menu which was delicious and good value. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Luggage storage before check in and after check out is a very welcome service when visiting for a city break. The only downside was that check in at 3pm was very busy, but the staff were always friendly, polite and helpful. We would stay here again.

Perfect central location with added bonus of free parking in city centre Short walk to Empire theatre Nice room very clean, good easy check in / out service Only complaint was breakfast waited around 7 minutes for eggs only seemed to be 1 Person in kitchen cooking and by the time eggs were ready the rest of my food had gone cold
