An excellent location in the centre of town, very close to The Docks, the shopping areas and the restaurant areas. With on site parking, including electric charging - note there is more parking at the back of the hotel. The room we had was on the ground floor but felt secure and was quiet at it overlooked the rear car park. The bed was ok, the shower was good, the room was clean, but the seating space would probably not be great to work at if that was what you needed. Staff were friendly but a little busy sending at the bar when we were checking in... However we only had to wait a moment. Very good for the price.

Excellent value for money; good clean facilities- everything we needed was available. Friendly service. The pool table and bar were a bonus. Good location close to docks, museums, galleries and the city's many attractions. Would definitely recommend for anyone who wants good quality and clean accomodation with limited frills

The hotel is in a fantastic location and has good amenities. The breakfast was tasty. It has an on-site car park which is first come first serve, which wasn’t an issue. I’d happily stay again.

Very clean room, plenty of space. Lovely spacious bathroom. Parking was touch and go. Even though we paid for parking the car park was full and we were lucky to get a space. Noticed that no action appeared to be taken with vehicles parked in disabled spots that didn’t display disc. Good location..right across road from Albert Dock and adjacent to City Centre, so perfect spot. No noise and lovely looking out of window onto to Albert Dock.

Town very close. John Lewis pretty much on your doorstep if you go out the back of the car park. Albert Docks over the road and a Tesco express also really close. Good self-service breakfast for £12 and free for children with a paying adult. The door room key card stopped working about 4 times which was a bit annoying.

Room fairly standard for the chain. Good enough for the price. Excellent location, close to Liverpool One and the shops and Albert dock. Lots of restaurants nearby. Parking £10 per day but in front of the hotel, so convenient. Breakfast buffet good. Overall a good choice that we have used several times

Convenient for Albert dock. The staff were unhelpful. I walk with a stick which was obvious but given a tiny room as far from the lift as you could go at the end of two long corridors.the barriers in & out of the car park never worked properly & we had to call staff everytime to open them. Very, very disappointed. Would not recommend!

Great location to Albert Dock and downtown, easy walking the city. Easy to get to, with great onsite, and affordable parking. Very nice breakfast buffet & coffee selection in the morning and bar service in the evening. Nice out door picnic table to sit and enjoy a drink. Rooms are smaller but to be expected, bathrooms and showers were nice.

Room was never cleaned. Replaced towels full stop. Didn’t remove the tumblers we took up to our room the night before. Didn’t make our bed. 4 nights with the same sheets. Shocking.

The location is really good BUT the room wasnt cleaned properly, the bedsheets didnt smell like detergent which indicates that they weren't changed, the bed had some crumbs on it. The side table was sticky and has signs of old sticky water rings.

Lovely and modern main reception area which was very welcoming yet also a comfortable relaxing space. The rooms were extremely underwhelming and in honesty not only very tired and shabby but also the cleanliness was somewhat questionable with the felt carpet looking like it had been some time since a hoover had graced its surface and the shower a bit gunky! definitely disappointing.

Great location, especially for the price! We came to Liverpool for a concert at Anfield Stadium and there was a direct bus right to the concert only a five minute walk away. The wifi at the hotel barely worked and one of the beds had a weird smell but otherwise we liked everything else!

Room was clean and very quiet. A bit hot. Room service menu needs replacing. Staff very nice. Room door card stopped working a few times. Breakfast was good. There was one morning when there was a huge que for breakfast which put us off but we did have a very nice breakfast at a local cafe.

Hotel and staff are great but the building works going on around the area are really loud and starting work at 6am makes it impossible to sleep. Had we been told about it we wouldn’t have booked. Also collecting bins at 5.20 am on bank holiday Monday morning was ridiculous. Looks like the building work will be a long time before it’s finished so I believe we should have been told before we booked.

We loved our stay. The location was brilliant. It’s just across the road from the Albert dock and took only between 5-10 minutes to walk into Liverpool one. Breakfast was great with lots of choice. Rooms were quiet, could only hear people shutting their doors. Couldn’t hear any noise from neighbours. Our only negative point was the beds are so uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on a brick wall

I have stayed in many hotels and this was by far the worst bed my husband and I have slept in. The mattress was rock hard and had a thin topper which didn’t add any comfort. Worst sleep and got up each morning aching.

So was woken up by a fire alarm, due to something in the kitchen, there was no organsiation, and I'm concerned that had it been a real fire people would have been hurt. When I mentioned it at check out, the only reaction was 'I wasn't wokring last night', not any interest in my concerns, or perhaps have a credit for the disrupted sleep. I did have other bookings at this chain, but have canceled them due to this

Hotel was ideally situated for our stay in Liverpool. Had an issue with the heating in the first room we were allocated but this was soon rectified when we were moved without any issue. Room was clean, however, it could do with a bit of an upgrade, as it looked a little tired. Would have been disappointed had we paid the original price quoted, however, on checking the website 2 weeks before saw that the price had halved! Staff were lovely and very helpful, would stay again.

The stay was fine the reception kept us waiting untill dead on 3pm to check in even though some other people clearly were allowed to check in between 2.30 and 3, we watched while we sat waiting no need I didn’t get her name but she was so abrupt and miserable it would have put us off coming back only we have stayed before without any issues. The room was basic but clean for one night it’s all that’s needed but the shower could have done with a good clean in fact I went around the door and the seals in the shower tray with a cloth and cleaned it before my partner saw it she would have flipped the cloth was dirty and black when I was done not good enough really. I’m not one for complaining and I wouldn’t normally say anything but I was sent this to fill in

The property is what it is and you get what you pay for to which i have never had an issue with my rooms, however one member of staff inparticular stood out for the wrong reasons, looked very disinterested on the first night we were there, was more interested in listening to his voice notes and sending voice notes back all this whilst being on the bar and even making people wait for him to finish to serve them. Asked the same person for BBQ sauce, to which he returned with sachets of HP brown sauce

Ibis Albert Dock is a great location. It's across the street from the giant Ferris Wheel, amusement park, museums, restaurants and cafes and the bus tours all centered at the Albert Docks, a beautiful, scenic area. It's easy to get to from the airport taking the C1 500 bus.

Lovely place to stay staff friendly and welcoming. Would think the tea tray should be placed in a different location as boiling the kettle under the tv is not very safe steam and electricity don’t mix. A couple of small towels to fry your hair would be helpful. Nice food breakfast a little bit limited fresh fruit would be nice. Overall a great stay will be back

The hotel was clean as was our room and the staff were helpful and friendly. Drawbacks were the room was extremely cramped with just one chair in a twin room. Shower and bathroom were excellent with plenty of room ironically. Had a number of problems with the swipe cards for getting in and out. The evening meal was disappointing.

The food was terrible. I ordered fish and chips, and it made me feel nauseous due to its low quality. On a positive note, the room was a good size and had all the necessary amenities. The parking was also satisfactory. I regret ordering the food, which was my mistake.

Room - small but adequate. Cleanliness was fine. No hand towels only bath towels. Bathroom door didn’t close and there was a mirror handing on the door that banged and rattled every time you used the bathroom (not ideal when having a middle of the night wee!) Breakfast - really good. All food was hot and fresh, good selection. Only issue was the tiny plates! A proper sized plate would have made life much easier. Staff - everyone we interacted with were very friendly and helpful, no complaints at all. Overall - good hotel, small tweets here and there would’ve made it great.

I like the location as it was very close to Princes Docks and Liverpool One. Reasonably priced parking is a plus as it would be for any driver. Breakfast is reasonable if a bit limited, Full breakfast was missing mushrooms and one could not get fried eggs, only option was scrambled eggs which is not my thing. Staff would not oblige fried eggs on request. Overall, a nice place to stay.

Very clean, breakfast plates were vety small and didn't hold baked bean, juice very well. The scrambled eggs were not very appetising in my oppinion. Bacon was very hard to chew
