I regret staying at the Timhotel, and I would not recommend it to anyone. The hotel lacks the amenities for a comfortable stay. The beds aren't comfortable and are too hard, the lift is very small and shakes when you're using it. The TV doesn't work properly and all the channels are in French. Some of the staff were a bit rude.

O Timhotel da Gare de l`Est é uma ótima opção para ficar a poucos metros do Quai de Valmy, numa região com muitos restaurantes (Na própria rua do hotel já há alguns), bares, cafés e lojas. Para o lado da estação o entorno é mais deteriorado mas ainda assim tb há bons restaurantes e a facilidade dos transportes. O hotel em si é simples, sem nenhum charme. Mas os quartos tem tudo que é necessário, cama e boas roupas de cama, chuveiro eficiente, kettle e chás/cafés de cortesia. O café da manhã é razoável, vale a pena se estiver incluído na diária.

Decent property if you need a place to sleep while visiting Paris. Don't expect too much from the hotel. Lady at service desk challenged me.about whether breakfast was part of my room and board, even though I had paid for it, at the point of check in. There was also no working safe in my room. Hotel staff played games with me when I asked about the safe. The breakfast is decent. Hotel location is close to all major transport, including to Charles DeGaulle Airport. Oko A ( Chicago) H

We had a fabulous stay. The location was really convenient for Metro & the train station meaning exploring Paris was easy. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. The room was clean, comfy beds, excellent air conditioning, great shower with good water pressure. Lovely view from the room. We would absolutely book this hotel again.

Unfortunately when we arrived the reception area seemed to be having a rennovation and was therefore quite cluttered and dusty with wires showing from where electronics/desks etc were being moved. We arrived around 22:00 and the staff said they were changing over and we needed to wait before we could check in. This seemed slightly inconvenient but we were however offered hot drinks while we waited and the staff were very apologetic about this and otherwise very friendly and welcoming. The lift was quite dirty and noisy/rattling going up in it which seemed disconcerting and one day did not work at all. As well as this the room it self was quite small with some mould in the shower. The bed was comfortable however and we didn’t have any issues with noise. Overall an average stay but slightly better priced than other central hotels in Paris.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Zimmer waren eine Katastrophe. Die Zimmertür konnte man kaum öffnen, da das Bett im Weg stand. Die Nachttische waren so nah am Bett, dass man immer dachte, man stößt sich gleich. Aber am schlimmsten war das Badezimmer. Die Decke der Dusche war voll mit Schimmel. Es stank dermaßen nach Schimmel im Badezimmer. Außerdem waren am Duschkopf noch die Haare des Vorgängers zu finden. Generell war das Badezimmer nicht sehr gründlich geputzt.

The room was a bit small but for the price, I can't really complain. The convenience to transportation was the best part of the local. Just a five minute walk to the Gare de L'est Metro. Took about 45-50 minutes to get to the airport.

De kamer en we hadden een eenvoudige gekozen was zo klein dat we niet rechtoplopend naar de badkamer konden lopen omdat de afstand tussen en muur ongeveer 20 cm was en er in dat pad ook de tv hing. Een kamer waar alles aanwezig was. Maar de douche zo groot was dat ik bij gesloten deur claustrofobisch werd maar gelukkig waren de deuren doorzichtig. Draaien was voor mij niet mogelijk ( 188 cm) grt

The shower tub combination was difficult to figure out. And no one could attend to it until the next working day. Sometimes it best to keep plumbing fixtures simple for ease of use. On a positive note, you are steps away from Gare de est making it extremely convenient to get to any part of the city on the metro including the airport. Great connectivity. We stayed 2 nights there as we needed to get to Brussels from Gare du Nord which is 5-7 mins walk from Gare de est station.

Evitez de vous tromper dans vos dates de réservation... l'hôtel ne voudra pas modifier ou annuler votre réservation même en prevenant 1 semaine à l'avance. 1ere fois que cela se produit pour moi qui ai l'habitude de voyager dans le cadre de mon travail alors que j'ai connu jusque-là plusieurs hôtels beaucoup plus compréhensifs et conciliants.

We had a fabulous stay. The location was really convenient for Metro & the train station meaning exploring Paris was easy. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. The room was clean, comfy beds, excellent air conditioning, great shower with good water pressure. Lovely view from the room. We would absolutely book this hotel again.

Unfortunately when we arrived the reception area seemed to be having a rennovation and was therefore quite cluttered and dusty with wires showing from where electronics/desks etc were being moved. We arrived around 22:00 and the staff said they were changing over and we needed to wait before we could check in. This seemed slightly inconvenient but we were however offered hot drinks while we waited and the staff were very apologetic about this and otherwise very friendly and welcoming. The lift was quite dirty and noisy/rattling going up in it which seemed disconcerting and one day did not work at all. As well as this the room it self was quite small with some mould in the shower. The bed was comfortable however and we didn’t have any issues with noise. Overall an average stay but slightly better priced than other central hotels in Paris.

The staff at the hotel were poorly trained and failed to inform us about important details, like the fact that breakfast was not included in our stay. During a previous stay at a hotel in Brussels, we were clearly informed that breakfast wasn’t included, but the staff kindly offered us a complimentary breakfast. However, at this hotel in Paris, there was no such communication. We unknowingly picked up our breakfast and were about to start eating when a staff member quietly asked for our room number. We were confused and decided to check with the reception, only to find out that breakfast was not included. We left without eating, but to our frustration, we were still charged for it. This incident spoiled our vacation. Additionally, the room itself was lacking essential amenities. There was no iron, refrigerator, or closet, which are expected in a four-star hotel. Overall, I would rate this hotel two stars instead of the three it claims to be.

The shower tub combination was difficult to figure out. And no one could attend to it until the next working day. Sometimes it best to keep plumbing fixtures simple for ease of use. On a positive note, you are steps away from Gare de est making it extremely convenient to get to any part of the city on the metro including the airport. Great connectivity. We stayed 2 nights there as we needed to get to Brussels from Gare du Nord which is 5-7 mins walk from Gare de est station.

The room was a bit small but for the price, I can't really complain. The convenience to transportation was the best part of the local. Just a five minute walk to the Gare de L'est Metro. Took about 45-50 minutes to get to the airport.

O Timhotel da Gare de l`Est é uma ótima opção para ficar a poucos metros do Quai de Valmy, numa região com muitos restaurantes (Na própria rua do hotel já há alguns), bares, cafés e lojas. Para o lado da estação o entorno é mais deteriorado mas ainda assim tb há bons restaurantes e a facilidade dos transportes. O hotel em si é simples, sem nenhum charme. Mas os quartos tem tudo que é necessário, cama e boas roupas de cama, chuveiro eficiente, kettle e chás/cafés de cortesia. O café da manhã é razoável, vale a pena se estiver incluído na diária.

Die Unterkunft ist gut gelegen, da man zu Fuß nur etwa 2 Minuten zum Bahnhof „Gare de l‘Est“ läuft und somit direkten Zugang zu 3 U-Bahn Linien hat. Außerdem gibt es in der Nähe einen kleinen Kanal in dessen Umgebung schöne Restaurants angesiedelt sind. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, leider funktionierten der Fernseher und die Leselampen nicht. Beim säubern des Zimmers wurden stets frische Handtücher und ein ordentliches Zimmer hinterlassen, lediglich der Mülleimer wurde nicht geleert, was etwas enttäuschend war. Alles in allem hatten wir aber einen guten Aufenthalt und das Preis - Leistungs Verhältnis stimmte hier.

Welcoming and accommodating staffs. Room and hotel condition are decent. Never had any issues. The only missing part was a minibar. I think any hotel room needs a mini bar to keep food items, drinks etc.
