Days Inn by Wyndham Staten Island

Very central and commutable location to different parts of Staten Island and even the express bus in Manhattan. Staff was very helpful.

Pros: Front desk person was nice, room was clean, bed comfortable, and they had a bare bones breakfast. Cons: Entire place smelled disgusting. Reaked of pot and cigraette smoke. No way to get that smell out of the nonsmoking room I was in, and it made my clothes reak of it too. Which is embarrassing given I don’t smoke or do any THC products. I have a photo of the fact that they put a plastic covering over the smoke detectors too, which is sketchy and franky seems illegal. At around 0530AM I was awakened Sat morning by the most insane domestic disturbance I have ever heard. Two people, a male and a female, yelled loudly for about 1 hour. Thought there was going to be gunshots next with how terrible it sounded. It didn’t feel safe. Never ever want to go back, which is sad. It is clear that they do try to keep it clean, but these type of things just makes it not ideal for someone to stay over and get any degree of rest.
