The beach nearby was good. The hotel pool was closed yet this was used as an attraction to get you to book this hotel

Receptionist was welcoming, very friendly and helpful. Nice room with great seaview although we officially had cityview. Breakfast is complete with good choices. Free parking on the premises. The hotel is situated at a very busy road but while inside you don’t hear the noise. You need to take a public bus or taxi to get to the city center. Walking is not really an option. I would certainly recommend this hotel for a short stay.

Vantaggi: colazione a buffet internazionale e locale ottima, bella piscina rooftop (si richiede l'uso di cuffia personale o a pagamento) con vista sul mare e città con lettino ed asciugamani inclusi, ascensore panoramico, parcheggio gratuito interno, materassi molto comodi in memory foam. Svantaggi: assenza di navetta gratuita dall' hotel al centro come invece scritto in fase di prenotazione, mancanza di bollitore, scarsa pulizia dei pavimenti e doccia, menù del ristorante con poca scelta e non di qualità.

After 5 days cycling across Sicily I was really looking forward to relaxing at the rooftop pool before catching the ferry to Cagliari the following day. At reception I was informed the pool was closed that day only for an emergency problem. I got the feeling this was a regular and convenient excuse so be careful fellow travelers when booking this hotel for the pool it promotes heavily. I saw no-one in a rush to fix the emergency for guests either so wonder whether it would really be fixed by the next day. I left early morning so had no chance to find this out. When checking out I asked for a small discount (just wanted to see them make a little gesture, even a bottle of water might have been something) on leaving on account that they had not fulfilled their part of the offer. I was told they could not do this but I could refuse to pay my bar biil if I liked and they would report this. I didn't appreciate having their issue represented back to me as a defaulting customer in this way so paid the bill and decided to write this review instead. The hotel itself was dated, the bedroom was quite acceptable although the bathroom was certainly in need of modernizing. The neighbourhood was a bit rundown, ok for walking through in daylight hours but I would have been more anxious after dark. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the historic centre and there appeared little choice of local restaurants so you will probably need a taxi to go in abs or if the city to eat at night.

Old hotel, not a four star hotel now, swimmingpool not for kids, check in very slow.

We got a quiet room on the 9th floor with a great view of the ocean. Rooms could use some updating to meet the 4 stars the hotel claims itself to be but it was comfortable for our needs and the bathroom was decent. Their continental breakfast was a highlight and had a variety of pastries, savory buns, some hot items like scrambled eggs and bacon, and a good selection of grains, fruits and drinks. The dining room was located on the top floor with a panoramic view of Palermo. There’s a rooftop swimming pool but wasn’t open in March. Location may not be ideal for travelers on foot but there’s free parking for the car inclined. I would definitely stay here again.

AT FIRST THIS HOTEL NEEDS TO USE SWIMMINGHAT ON THE POOL!!! AND THEY ASK 2€ FROM THE HAT!! U CANNOT SWIM IN THE HOTELPOOL WITHOUT IT!!! And there is no allowed to take any drinks or food in poolarea. We was 2 nights in this place. Beds was very soft and pillow very small and hard. Staff was friendly in reception and knew how to speak english. That was nice. Poolboy needs still learn customersercive habits and english. Breakfast was mostly sweats, and salty ones was all empty when we went there, we didnt get any. Only bread and eggs. Was nice that in the evening is allowed to go on rooftop terass. There was beautiful views. Sadly this hotel was little far and all taxi and Uber cost 15-25€/way to go centrum. So this lift the travel budjet. Also there is no offer ex. Airport taxi.

Struttura abbastanza datata, situata in un punto strategico della zona porto e quindi molto transitata. La pulizia lascia a desiderare,le maniglie delle porte erano appiccicose e appena ho passato un tovagliolo con l'alcool il tovagliolo era nerissimo,il water risultava sanificato e appena alzata la tavoletta era sporco di pipì e il fondo ingrigito dal calcare... diciamo che sarebbe il caso di fare un corso di igiene e pulizia.

Dette er IKKE et 4-stjernet hotel. Hotellet fremstår i komplet nedslidt stand, og i hotellets galleri er der benyttet materiale der ville gøre en hver ejendomsmægler stolt. Hotellet ligger i den nedslidte ende af Palermo, og hotellet står op og ned af ufuldstændige bygninger, afbrændte skraldecontainere og lukket industri. Værelserne og dets faciliteter er mere nedslidte end jeg før har oplevet i Italien, og leder tankerne hen på hoteller under USSR i midt 1980’erne. Værelset var tydeligt beskidt, med klaskede myg på tapetet, en udtørret bussemand på væggen og badeværelsesfaciliteter der syntes udtjente og beskidte. Sengene var dog udmærkede. Jeg kommer ikke igen.

Stunning views, I couldn’t believe the look over the city right to the ocean and it felt like I was staying in a castle. The staff were friendly and helped me get around. However I did find someone else tooth floss left on the hand soap bottle

I realized on the last night that the room was so cold and noisy because the window hadnt and wouldnt close all the way. The hotel is old. They put two single mattresses together. Sheets didnt fit. Pulled out at once. A little out of the way. I walked to station in twenty minutes. Wouldnt advise it at night. Easyjet got me in four hours late and a cab charged me 15e. Bfst was ok. One day i return3d and the safe was open. Maybe i forgot. Nothing missing. I told them and they couldnt have cared less. There may be a conad down the street.

Le petit déj est très correct. Ce n'est pas l'abondance de tout et n'importe quoi mais pour monsieur et madame tout le monde c'est très bien. Le personnel est gentil, poli et cordial. Les chambres manquent effectivement d'un petit rajeunissement mais surtout d'une isolation phonique. Les bruits de chocs à l'étage et les conversations des voisins necessitent des boules quies pour dormir.

Hotel qui semble sorti des années 70. La propreté et le confort de la literie sont bons, mais l'insonorisation est quasi nulle, même du 11e étage, on entend la rue et la circulation comme si nous étions sur le trottoir. Les chambres vue mer sont les plus bruyantes, car la route du bord de mer est très passante.

San Paulo hotel was a wonderful experience. We got our room on the 11th floor with a sea view and we woke up to the sea view and sunrise everyday from the window in our room. We found the hotel very safe and generally quiet with excellent breakfast and facilities. The staff were courteous and very helpful and the experience surpassed our expectations.

The accommodation was clean? Breakfast was good, but the location a bit out of the way. Although buses can take you to Palermo city center in 20 minutes. The hotel is however outdated and not worthy for 4 stars. The hotel really needs an upgrade to the 21st century. A thee kettle and coffee maker next to an ironing board are standard in a 4 star hotel. The wooden floor is also not very comfortable.

We stayed at the hotel during the Memorial Day long weekend, and the hotel refused to turn on the central controlled air conditioning saying it would only be on after June 1 - same as the outdoor pool. The hotel staff said the only way to get the air flowing inside the hot room is to open the window. However, the outside traffic is noisy while the window is open, and it only helped a little. In addition, when asked to have a fan put inside the room, the hotel staff said they would send one, but they did not even after we followed up twice. Besides these critical points, the hotel also does not have drinking water glasses and refuse to provide wine glasses for the room quoting security concern, which is obviously an excuse not to provide glasses. The hotel offer plastic cups instead. The hotel is also very old, but the most unsatisfying part is the poor service and finding excuses not to provide property basic hotel functioning service.

Great pool and breakfast- location on beach but a long walk from center of town in the boiling heat- reception nice and friendly. My only issue was the lack of wifi in the room. No matter how many times I asked- there was no wifi and so I could not use my computer in that private space. Also no Spanish or English subtitles working on TV- I learned a lot of Italian watching it. Really a great deal for the price other than wifi!!

Very good hotel with totaly friendly and helpfull staff. especially the guy at the reception was totally helpfull and gives assistant whenever needed, also helped by organizing a rental car etc. Some areas in the hotel are not totaly new, but the rooms etc. are renovated, so this is not really an issue. In my opinion, what you get is perfect for that pricing.

The pool area was ok , but the staff try to rip you off for money . We were given a bill on checkout which did not relate to what we had eaten or what the city tax should have been. I queried the city tax as he said 32 euros was correct for 2 nights he then halved this to 16 which was still incorrect as the new rates don’t apply till October the 1st . They don’t get you to sign in the restaurant this is so they can make your bill whatever they wish . I ended up paying a wholly incorrect amount just so I could leave - as I didn’t want to miss my train . Restaurant staff seemed nice but pay as you go or you will get ripped off - my advice avoid and stay somewhere else . I intend claiming a refund from my card provider for the overpayments they have wrongly taken .

Je mets 5. Je trouve les avis beaucoup trop négatifs. L’hôtel est de bon standing. Oui il manque un peu de peinture sur quelques portes, oui l’ascenseur est un peu long. Oui c’est une baignoire. Mais l’hôtel est très propre. Les literies sont très confortables. Un peu de bruit de circulation mais c’est normal, le centre de Palerme est à 10 minutes en voiture. Le petit déjeuner est nickel, complet et très bon. Alors oui on monte quelques étages à pied si il faut. Bravo au personnel souriant avec tous ces touristes aigris. A l’accueil, elles parlent plus ou moins français mais ça va, on fait tous des efforts. Petit bémol pour la serveuse du bar de la piscine, elle aussi, aigrie. Et oui il faut un bonnet qu’ils vendent, c’est ce qu’on appelle de l’hygiène. Bref, je mets 5 même si ça en vaut un très bon 4, pour rééquilibrer les notes négatives.

Very old hotel and in a bad location for tourists. Don’t go there

Fint hotell med en fantastisk utsikt. Väldigt bra frukost! Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Lite långt från stan och få restauranger i närheten tyvärr.

Si vous restez toute la journee dans la chambre .c est vrai que c est bruyant. Mais rester toute la journee dans la chambre .n allez pas si loin (vu ds les commentaires)

It was far from many things and walking was very dangerous. Due to the fact there wasn’t any sidewalks. You had to go against traffic. That was the only thing the location should’ve been a little bit better.

The area around the hotel is dirty. The hotel staff were very friendly. I spent 7 days in this hotel. Everyday there where 2 -4 buses full of school children around 6 pm. It was an absolute ZOO. Kids wouldn't let me off the elevator. Bottom line, teachers couldn't control the mobs of children coming into and out of this hotel. Get a hotel in a cleaner part of Palermo.

Personal muy amable, las instalaciones muy cómodas y limpias, los desayunos estupendos, es cierto que la zona da un poco de miedo, pero es segura, hay restaurantes bastante cerca a los que se puede ir caminando, si ya quieres más variedades hay otros a los que quizás tendrías que ir en coche pero es bastante cerca

Las habitaciones y el baño son muy amplias y agradables falta cuidado en el mantenimiento. Hay areas descuidadas. El agua de la piscina muy sucia. El restaurante es lo mejor del hotel.Tiene un exelente servicio y muy buena comida. Vale la pena comer ahi.

Hotel de 4 estrellas pero sin modernizar, moqueta y muebles antiguos. Desayuno muy completo y en estancia agradable con vistas. Un poco lejos del centro de 15 a 20 minutos caminando, pero al lado de carretera y sin acera, por la noche daba miedo al ser oscuro y sin nadie salvo coches.

L'hotel mériterait un rafraichissement. Les chambres ont de la moquette qui est tachée et elle ne semble pas être aspirée régulièrement (poussière visible à l'oeil nu). Un doute sur le double vitrage des vitres pour le niveau sonore, sachant qu'il y a une route passante juste en bas. Sinon le personnel est très agréable et souriant. Le petit déjeuner est très fourni.

Used the Resturant could not eat the food. Most expensive meal on our holiday and easily the worst. Don’t be fooled by waiter dressid in white with brass buttons could not dven ensure salt and pepper was in the table We had to change our room after the first night, depressing dark room over looking a building site. All in all worst experience of our holidsy
