It’s an old building & our room was a bit tired, don’t expect shiny & new. The bartender was fab & we had a great cocktail on the roof terrace.

Good hotel in good location. Nice area and wonderful city. Hotel has parking but in order to reach the hotel you have to drive 800 meters through a crowded pedestrian street. Very uncomfortable. Better not drive.

Ótima! A localização do hotel é excelente. As atrações turísticas e os mercados de rua podem ser visitados a pé. O prédio é antigo e muito bonito. As acomodações são boas e o café da manhã com bastante variedade e qualidade. O ponto negativo é o banheiro que não fechava direito a porta e o box é muito pequeno, precisa de reforma. Os atendentes da recepção são alegres, educados e gentis, principalmente a Stephania que nos recebia sempre com um sorriso e nos deu várias dicas de passeios e restaurantes. O hotel possui estacionamento e fica em uma zona ZTL, então é preciso mostrar a reserva para a polícia para chegar de carro até o hotel. Recomendaria o hotel e voltaria.

We had horrible experience of this hotel. First, we had to drag our bags to the hotel as taxi driver dropped us in the next street corner because it was no entry street. Then the room they gave us was stinking with dust, mold and mite as if it was not used for years ! The bathroom was stinking with bad smell! The bed was hair of the queen size single bed. So we called Expedia. They gave us another room, which was worse if not good. Two tween bed on each corner of the room and bathroom was stinking and room was as not used for years ! The furniture was century old and not maintained! We jdecided to checked out and moved to another hotel , Grand Hotel Wagner after we went there and checked it out ourself. We were celebrating our 41st anniversary and we were totally disappointed with Eurostar and we called Expedia for give us full refund. Expedia should not list this hotel at all. Please take it out of your listing and arrange for the full refund. Thank you for understanding!!

They put us in a room below one that was under construction. So from 7am to 10pm there was constant banging. Bugs in the bathroom. Room very small and dirty. Staff tried to charge us multiple times for facilities we did not use. Worst hotel we’ve stayed in in any country.

Front desk staff was incredibly helpful, but this property is very tired, sad and in dire, dire need of a renovation. Portions of our bathroom looked so dirty, but in fairness to the cleaning staff, it was difficult to tell if it was dirty or just too old to be able to be cleaned properly. Overall, there was a lack of cleanliness. The floor of the room was dirty even when we first arrived. The location of the hotel was the reason we booked it - to be in the middle of the city center, within easy walking distance to sights, restaurants and shops. I’d book something in the same area again, but unfortunately, not this hotel.

Molto bella la struttura: sembra di soggiornare in un’antica dimora. Spettacolari le aree comuni, la hall e la sala colazioni. La nostra camera molto carina. Busted and Old AC unit made exaggerating noise all night. Room is way small for EU standards. Seems that the Hotel was 4 stars some years ago. Lobby is beautiful and classy but that’s it. Theres no parking. Period. Don’t ask. Location is perfect and close to everything. Wish they do some renovations and mayor maintenance soon, very promising hotel.

The room was located under the breakfast rooms and at 6am every morning people were dragging furniture. The housekeeping staff thought it was good to drag trolleys and have loud conversations outside the room which echos immensely. The room smelt and the bed seemed to be prison issue. It was so uncomfortable. The hotel staff were lovely and very friendly. The location is very good but do not book anything on floor 1.

Our room was directly beneath the dining room—the noise from the chairs grating against the floor above us every morning was unbearable. The room effectively had no view or balcony, it was like a cave. The bed was extremely hard (rm 115). Terrific breakfast and good music playing. The public rooms were gorgeous and the rooftop restaurant was terrific, the location fantastic. But a terrible room.

I think the main issues I found was when I checked into the hotel the guy in reception didn't speak English very well so he couldn't understand what I was trying to say which was frustrating. I was simply saying can my friends who live in Palermo come visit me to say hello quickly and he was like oh I need their passports and driving licence and they need to check in if they want to stay the night. This was not what I was asking for, it was simply a quick hello and goodbye but anyway, once he finally understood what I was saying he still said they have to check in at the front desk if they want to come and see you apparently due to Italian laws which I've never heard off and when we stayed in Rome a few days later this was not the case as our friends from Rome came to see us so I'm having a hard time believing him. The second issue was I was still asleep and all of a sudden I heard my door being opened at 10 am in the morning and lights came on immediately and I woke up and said hello from the bedroom and a man's voice in Italian said oh sorry and then left the room and turned the lights off This was very annoying as I was enjoying my sleep and he woke me up now and it made me think he didn't even knock to ask if he could enter my room with my stuff inside very suspicious.

Check-in was horrible. My husband stopped car near the hotel. I went into the hotel lobby. The female staff was supper snubby, the way and tone she tlked to me showing she does not think I am qualified to walk into this hotel. I told her I reserved parking and showed her my message to hotel on hotles.com. Then she laughed laudy at me and rolled he eyes. She said, "we decidef not reply to you. Ha ha ha." I said I would call hotels.com, then she said there was a spot available for 2 days. There is no door man, no luggage staff, no valet parking. She was the only one working in the hotel according to her. Can't believe a 4 star hotel like this. She gave me a map and told me how to drive to the hotel, and she said she would told me how to get to the garage when we drive here. The road she pointed out to me is one way and she tols me to drive against the one way road! I wonderif she really doesn't know it or intentionally told me wrong info. More than half hour later, we reached hotel. I brought some luggage with me in hotel and my husband was in car waiting. The same female staff said, "Ther eis no need to bring luggage. You can drive intp garage and take luggage in from there." I said "You did not tell me". She laughed again, "You did not ask. Ha ha ha". It was her said she would tell me about garage when we get here. What a terribel staff and a horrible person she is! The garage is very squishy and has steel prick sticking out on wall corner. The room is dark and super noicy.
