Hotel Encino Malecón Centro Puerto Vallarta

Pretty noisy

It’s an older Mexican style Hotel with a nice courtyard and a nice rooftop swimming pool adjacent to a lounging area on the roof. It’s in walking distance to Centro and Zona Romantica which is fantastic. We stayed for 4 weeks and the roof service is great. We had a room with a little balcony looking towards the ocean which we very much enjoyed. Since the hotel is right at the car bridge it can be noisy at times. I would recommend the place considering the price it costs.

No beach view from my room … had some issues with leaking shower also not enough counter space in the bathroom & most importantly there was no fridge available in the room & when staying 14 nights it’s important to have that. My bed was comfortable & the maid service was great.

I was extremely disappointed with this hotel room. The room had no lamps at all, several broken tiles, visible mold, and leaky faucets, and shower doors. The room felt demolished then patched back together. Basic amenities were missing — there was no iron and no in-room safe, which are standard expectations. Oh and only a thin bedsheet to sleep in. The worst part was the cleanliness. Birds were gathering outside the room, and there was bird droppings everywhere — on the floor, door, walls, furniture, and even the A/C unit. This made the room feel extremely unsanitary and neglected. Overall, the lack of maintenance, cleanliness issues, and missing basic amenities made this an uncomfortable stay. I would not recommend this property unless major improvements are made
