This hotel was wonderful. Rooms were very clean, and such attention to detail. Local artwork throughout, we loved the dimmer switches in the room and bathroom. Bed was very comfortable, room stayed cool, room darkening shades. The self parking garage is directly next to the hotel. And across the street is the subway to take you into downtown - it couldn't be more convenient. We did not use the restaurant in the hotel but ate dinner one night at a great Iltalian restaurant just down the block called Mecurio - absolutely delicious pastas, pizza, Caesar salad was great, friendly server named Jill. This hotel had a complimentary wine hour at 5pm each night. Happy to stay here again.

Our stay was very positive - easy to pull right up to unload/valet our vehicle, doorman very friendly, easy and friendly check in, they accept dogs with no additional fee. Room was very clean & comfortable - great bed, blackout blind, marble bathroom, strong AC. No coffee maker in room but offered in lobby starting 7am. Pub in hotel was good. Walkable to tons of attractions, restaurants and shopping. About a 20 min walk to casa Loma.

Nice hotel in a convenient location. Staff was friendly. We discovered an unclean bathroom upon check in, and quietly informed the front desk of this on our way out for the evening, and came back and the bathroom was only marginally cleaner. This was disappointing given the cost of the hotel, and the subsequent concerns about cleanliness elsewhere.

The property was nice. We loved the style and decor. The room was clean-ish. Aside from the bathroom grout needing to be scrubbed and a weird creamy white stain on the couch (that we covered with a towel), the room appeared to be clean. Nice restaurants and tons of shopping places about a 15minute walk in one direction. We had great meals in the area. Very close to Uni of Toronto. Staff was great. The attached restaurant was good too. We ate there for breakfast and had late night drinks at the bar. Would I stay here again? Maybe.

My stay at the Kimpton Saint George was very disappointing. The first room I was given had stained bedding. When I called down, staff moved me to a second room, which wasn’t much better—dirty walls, dust and chalk-like particles on the table, and even half-used alcohol bottles left in the fridge. Hallways and walls throughout the property were chipped and scuffed, giving the hotel a worn, ‘fake luxury’ feel. When I raised these issues, I said I would wait in the restaurant until a clean room was ready. I was told to order whatever I liked and charge it to my room, and that it would be comped. However, when staff later informed me the room was ready, they also told me the meal would only be half covered. Between the lack of cleanliness, poor upkeep, and inconsistent service, the experience was far below the standard expected of a Kimpton property.

Very clean! Comfortable bed, bedding, and pillows. Food was excellent, love the anticipation of guest needs and the friendliness of staff. The morning coffee and evening wine for guests was also a nice touch! Fantastic location with a lot of nearby restaurants, the ROM, and royal conservatory! Would absolutely stay here again.

I’ve stayed at a lot of Kimpton properties, and after my stay at the Saint George, I can confidently say that this Kimpton is my favorite one. The location is great, close to Bloor Street and a few museums and gardens. A+ for visitors visiting the university. Upon our arrival at valet, the attendant was really helpful. Parking was reasonable and easy, despite the construction going on in the street currently. Then we had an excellent experience at the front desk. Although there was a wedding going on, and the lobby was crowded, we felt welcomed and important. We were traveling with our dogs and we were even given a free gift for our pups at check in via a partnership that the hotel had. Impressive! We originally booked a King room but upgraded to a one-bedroom suite at check-in. It was so worth it. Our room faced the street, but it was really quiet. The room has a bar area, where we were able to sit and eat, and a comfortable sofa (I think it turned into a sofa bed but we didn’t utilize it) in the main area. It was really spacious, which we appreciated. The bedroom was equally spacious, with a comfortable bed and comfortable sheets. The bathroom had an enormous bathtub - which was the highlight. The only thing that was disappointing was the water pressure for the shower head. Lastly, the service was top-notch. I was very impressed at the attentiveness of the staff. We needed a few things from them, and they always delivered with a great hospitable attitude.

Appreciated flexibility on the late check out; loved ROM proximity. I would return assuming it remained affordable comparable to expected service, atmosphere. Lovely hotel, but more importantly, the staff were great. We were delayed for 2 days due to storms cancelling our flights (4 in total). During what was a stressful time trying to reorganise our trip and find alternate hotels in Manhattan, general manager Sean and Natalie were not only super responsive in communications but also very flexible in accommodating us. Despite our booking passing the modification / cancellation point, they didn’t charge us for the two nights we were unable to stay from the original booking. The Kingston St. George is, in my opinion, overrated for the number of stars it has. The room was extremely small, and the renovation felt very cheap and basic. The biggest issue is that the room looks nothing like the photos shown online. The pictures appear to be heavily edited and professionally photoshopped, making the rooms look much nicer, larger, and more modern than they actually are. In reality, the room looked completely different. For the price and the rating, I expected much more. The hotel may look attractive online, but the actual experience did not match the presentation at all. I would recommend management use more realistic and current photos so guests know what they are actually booking.

Very convenient location next to St George subway and the Bata Museum. Staff were very friendly and helpful, one small issue we had with our room was dealt with quickly. My partner made use of the exercise facilities. The complimentary continental breakfast is served in the Lobby, where they also serve wine at the end of the afternoon, and it seems juice/ice tea in the course of the day. If you want a cooked breakfast, it is available a la carte from the restaurant, or at cafes very close by. The room is quiet and the window can be opened for air.
