Booked a 2 night stay that included access to the private exclusive beautifully warmly decorated 3 room ‘Club Lounge’ with a view. Not really knowing what to expect - I was blown away at the extras it provided! Private check in/ out, VIP service, a warm and relaxing place to read, play games, chef prepared food, snacks, alcoholic/ non alcoholic drinks and just simply a quiet place to relax that is all included in your stay. Not to mention the outstanding service they provided there. Well done!

Our room was very dusty and needed a good deep clean. Maid knocked on our door even though the “do not disturb” sign was on the door. I had to call for more water and Kleenex. They should have been restocked when they cleaned the room. And the $25 amenity fee was a surprise even though we did not use the spa, etc. For the cost; I’m sure there are better options in the same area.

We had a wonderful stay at the InterContinental Toronto Centre! The front desk staff, especially Paul, was exceptionally professional and attentive ,he gave us clear directions and even surprised my daughter with a lovely little teddy bear, which absolutely made her day. Our room was spotless, quiet, and very comfortable, providing a perfect place to relax after exploring the city. The breakfast buffet was fantastic , with a wide variety of delicious options and top-quality food. Overall, our experience exceeded expectations in every way. The staff were lovely. The carpet in our room had big stains. No queen beds. Only 2 doubles. Never saw double beds in a hotel that price before. The cable was not working (not the hotel's fault though), we couldn't even order a pay per view, as our tv remote wasn't working. We were given another remote, but the tv kept freezing.

The first room I was given had bed linens that had not been changed and had human hair from at least two people (the linens smelled like someone who had not showered). My room was switched, and the bathroom of the second room was not clean (human hair and dust buildup around the toilet), and the courtesy bathroom amenities (e.g., shower cap, needle /thread packet, etc.) and looked like there was blood on them.

Room was very clean and spacious for a family of 4. amazing view of CN Tower, lake and island airport. Great Location for accessing nearby attractions, sport events, restaurants and train station. The staff left a small birthday cake in the room for our son’s birthday, which was a nice surprise. Would love to stay here again.

Check-in was easy by friendly staff. Hotel lobby is impressive and very clean, and the location of the hotel is very central for sightseeing around Toronto. Our room on the seventh floor was spacious, with two comfortable queen beds, with a view overlooking a junction outside the hotel. The bathroom was also spacious with a powerful shower and plenty of hot water. The one thing we didn’t enjoy was the noise from the three elevators, which backed onto our room. The noise was really intrusive and disturbed our sleep. I usually request a room on a high floor, well away from any elevators, but on this occasion I didn’t think it was necessary, with it being a large, luxurious hotel. As we were only staying for two nights, we decided to tolerate the noise. Just something to bear in mind if you are thinking of staying here. We enjoyed our stay at the Intercontinental, but probably wouldn’t choose to stay here again, because of the elevator noise issue, as it really impacted our enjoyment of the hotel.

We checked in on Thursday night, the AC did Not work and it was 81* for the entire night we were boiling hot. I informed the front desk in the morning and they said they’d look into it. I had to go to work at a dance competition with my 9 year old daughter. I received a phone call saying the AC was unrepairable and we’d need to change rooms. We did not arrive back at the hotel until 11pm and we were told we’d be compensated for the inconvenience of no AC & then changing rooms late at night with my young daughter. The next morning, the front desk person knew nothing about the compensation agreement and brought out the manager who immediately had a disrespectful attitude. He stated there would be no compensation because I booked through Expedia, when I expressed my frustration with the inconsistent agreement about compensation he began yelling at me in front of my child. Do not stay at this hotel. Rooms are small and staff is rude. Never have I been treated so badly.

The Intercontinental is such a beautiful property and staff are absolutely the best. When my daughter and granddaughter joined me during my stay, four-year-old Emmy was delighted to receive a stuffed toy from the front desk when they checked in. So thoughtful! Spacious, well-appointed room. Was able to fully relax after a long day of work and commute from Montreal with a hot shower in the large luxe bathroom, slip into a cushy robe, and order room service.
