Pool was empty and this hotel was an old facility. Vagrant population dense in the area. Next time just send the extra 50 bucks and get a cleaner, upkept hotel.

Only one night, good access from Denver, but place was in poor repair. Even though not full, gave us a room by noisy road. Cobwebs in corners, pool drained in this hot weather, gap under threshold let in light and noise.

Property was not as described. It seems the owner is just trying to survive until the development behind him buys him out. The AC was broke, the pool was a no go and the fitness center didn’t exist.

Awful … has bed bugs !! And the front desk guy is ridiculous! Still have yet to talk to a manager about a refund .. showed the guy the bed bug and he still sat there and told me there was no issue ! And the door had such a big gap I could see out side !! Tub didn’t plug for baths .. the pictures and stuff on the website is a lie ! Will never stay again and definitely would never recommend!

The staff I met were very nice and helpful, but when I arrived in my room, the room was very dirty and dingy, the towels had not been changed and were wet from the last users, the sheets looked slept in, the phone didn't work, there was no garbage can or cup/glass, the main wall switch by the door didn't turn on any lights, and there was no roller to hold the toilet paper. In the three days I was there, the room was never cleaned. I went to the desk for clean towels, and the were very helpful. I asked about the dirty room and they told me the women were working as hard as they could, but it had been a busy week. The area around the hotel does not seem safe and there are no eating options other than the two gas stations on the corner.

Without trying to sound like a comedian, this place is so bad you wouldn’t rent it for a one night stand. The room was dirty. Dirty walls. Dirty lampshade. I was afraid to walk on floor with no shoes. The desk lamp had built in outlets that barely accommodated a phone charger. The smell of the room. Omg. Kind of like sewage? No garbage can in room. No window to open to air it out. Beds were okay. The free breakfast was a total disappointment and I threw it out. The coffee was disgusting. The bread looked questionable. The room it was in also looked questionable. Positives were the location. About 30 ish minute walk to downtown and baseball stadium. We felt fairly safe, but made sure we parked car infront of hotel. The staff was fabulous. Friendly. Helpful. I’m just surprised how hotels stay in business with rooms like we had. It’s not a 5 star hotel so I didn’t expect a 5 star stay but I’d barely give it a 1. I wanted to leave the second we opened the door to our room. I was embarrassed and felt like a jerk renting it for my friend and I. We spent as little time as we possibly could in it. If I could get my money back I’d ask for it. Could I have asked for a different room? Sure. Was I worried about what room number 2 would be like? Absolutely.

This place is a dump. The chunks of the concrete broken off the balcony looks in safe. The room was renovated a year ago supposedly but it must have a new job only. The baseboard molding is coming off. The pillows were so flat you might as well not had one. Oh. It to mention the cockroaches my husband killed. The drapes were falling down and one had a hole in it. The drapes hung over the ac/heat and blew over half the bed making it a one person bed. The overgrown weeds over the grounds was very unattractive.

There was trash under the beds so it didn't get cleaned very good. The floors were sticky. there was no lock on the door other then the card reader. and there was not toilet paper in the room. Once I arrived the trash can was outside the door full of trash still, I hade to empty it and bring it into my room. the walkway outside the room was gross and coved in random stains and dirt. I ended up leaving because I didn't trust the beds or the door. slept in my car and was told I couldn't get a refund.

This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had staying in a hotel… there was pee dribble on the toilet seat with an unflushed bowl, debris on the bed, the fridge was unplugged and water was all over the place from it defrosting/leaking. Holes in the wall (looked like a peep hole to another room). We went down to the front desk and were luckily relocated to another room which was in a different building-our door barely locked and securely closed… in our new room the sink was filthy and wouldn’t drain.. we finally got situated and found that there were no pillows or toilet paper or waste bins in the room either… leaving us to have to go down to the front desk for a 3rd time… we were shocked at how disgusting these rooms were and the lack of care for the customer stay.

Old building is ok. Just very dirty rooms. Door didn’t lock. Tv didn’t work. Bedding and towels were clean but not the rest of the room. There was a box of cornbread mix and chicken bones(I guess chicken) in the tv consul. Pill on the floor and earring on the bathroom floor. Rooms need to be deep cleaned. Bad!!

Staff didn't really seem to care that we showed up, the latch on our room door was completely broke off so the deadbolt was the only form of lock, toilet paper was stuffed into the peep hole, the bottom of the room door was damaged so you could see under the door, cobwebs all over the ceiling, walls were dirty and they put car air fresheners in the air conditioning until. Not to mention the neighbor that was playing very loud music next door. This is the worst hotel I've ever had the displeasure of wasting my money at. It was only supposed to be a one night stay but we ended up just leaving and driving home through the night. They're lucky they're in a very big city. If they operated like this where I live they would be out of business.

There were people loitering all around the building. The room smelled clean but needed edge vacuuming and the tub looked dirty. We couldn’t lock our door very well inside and the chain lock was broken. We couldn’t lock the door from the outside at all. We ended up locking our stuff in our car and checked out after our concert. We did not feel safe.

We stayed in the cheaper part of the hotel a bit below the main property. It's been remodeled and is comfortable. TV, hot water, locks, fridge all work. Sink drain was broken but I could make it open finally. Linkage was bent up previously Brought the issue to management. Has a coffee maker and smallish tv in the room. To get ice you hike across a sidewalk, two flights of outside steps to the rear entrance of the main building by the laundry facility. ONE place for the entire two hotels? Internet crawled at best any / all times I tried it... often. I tested the speed.. Maybe enough AT TIMES to get an email out. Cruising for restaurants, attractions etc? Forget it. I brought this up to the night manager and got an argument that it'll always be slow at a motel/ hotel??? I put wifi IN motels where I live and don't use that excuse. Not paying for enough bandwidth; a common problem at some motels. All in all a nice stay though. Good location and not a bad price til they get offered enough to tear it down like all the motels around it have been already.

Unsafe, broken windows and latches for windo locks. 1 inch gap under door. Could see directly through next to my door. The curtain was short left a 3-4 in view directly into my room where someone outside could see me sleeping or watching TV. Would of had to go into my bathroom to change clothing.

This property is in a great location with the Denver overlook right across the street. The views are excellent, and it's walkable to LoHi. However, the rooms need maintenance, badly. The fire alarm in my original room chirped every 2 minutes forcing me to change rooms, but didn't really fix the problem because I could still hear it from my new room. Not to mention how insecure the door jambs and door locks are. They need redone because they don't latch all the way and they would not be difficult to just push right open. Aces for location and price, but massive fail on maintenance and security. If I had a family there's no way in hell I would stay here.

I was after value most importantly, the room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. I had a hard time sleeping due to road noise, and thinking of the passers by that I had seen walking by, that "seemed" questionable. I had a valuable motorcycle on the back of my truck, and was unfamiliar with security in the area. I did not witness anything shady, and my concerns were not founded. That was on me. I would not hesitate to return.

This was almost a great stay—nice staff and fair price. However, the cleaning staff did not notice that I had added an extra night and threw my stuff away the day before I left. This would have been fine if they had placed my belongings in storage. Instead, I was told (after waiting hours) that my items had been thrown away. After looking into it, they determined that refunding me half of one night ($42) was appropriate—despite the fact that the value of my belongings (new) would be at least $300 (though no more than $330–$350). I called, and they said they could not justify giving me more since they could not confirm what was there—despite them being the ones who threw it away rather than placing it in storage. Given this experience, I can only recommend this place if you take all of your belongings with you at all times. I was here for the 2025 American Educational Research Association (AERA) and National Council on Measurement in Education (NCME) conference, and I do not recommend anyone stay here for any professional conference in particular.

The receptionist was rude during checkin and not helpful at all. Worst customer service we have experience in a long time. Will never go back!

I showed up in Denver after 2 delayed flights and was exhausted. Went to check in, as I had reserved a room via expedia a week in advance. Went up to the counter and the man behind the desk said they were sold out. I told him I had a reservation. He said it wasn’t his problem. So i was stuck alone in a strange city at 10:00 at night. I ended up paying a fortune at another hotel because of my last minute reservation. I believe expedia should remove this hotel from their hotel options if the hotel isn’t going to honor it’s reservations. I would recommend that nobody ever book a room in at this establishment. Worst experience I’ve ever had with a hotel.

When I arrived at the property, there was no one at the front desk, so I waited for over 15 minutes for two people to show up. They recognized the backup of customers waiting, and one of them began to busy herself behind the counter, while the other staff member stepped outside for a smoke break. The room was dirty with several broken or missing amenities. This was the dirtiest and grossest stay I've ever paid for. I know it's not a 5 star hotel, but I think it's a stretch to even rate it 1 star.

Wasn’t a bad stay at all for the price , we flew in for a broncos game hotel is 15 mins walking distance so it was super convenient also like 10 mins driving from downtown.

This place is definitely cheap for a reason. We did not feel safe. There was definitely a very much needed clean that was needed for our room. Pretty dirty place but that’s probably why it’s so cheap.

POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS area! First thing I did was have to go and get the key for the room 2 times, then swap room cause the door wouldn’t open, finally decided to open after a few tries on the new room. Only one of the keys worked, after jamming into it with my shoulder. Immediately entering I approached the bed only to split my shin open cause a black bed frame bar was sticking out from under the mattress, immediately booked elsewhere & returned to check out, to hopefully get an understanding refund, but nope thing thing after I told them what happened was, “sorry no refunds” even though I checked in 15 minutes before. I asked for at least a bag of ice for my shin and she left and got me a bag and told me the ice is on the 2nd floor!!!! Such AWFUL SERVICE AND HORRIBLE FACILITY. Do not under any circumstance go here.

Really liked the view of downtown Denver from the Budget Inn location. Staff at check in was very accommodating and friendly. I was staying by myself and had no issues during my 4 night stay but did frequently notice what seemed to be homeless individuals loitering across the street from the hotel. I had a 6am flight and had to checkout really early (3:30am) on Sunday but when I went to return the room key to the front desk did not find anyone at the reception after waiting 10-15 minutes. Ended up leaving key in the room before departing to the airport. This is a good option for someone traveling by themselves that just wants a place to rest in Denver for a reasonable price but would not recommend for families traveling with younger children given my experience.

Good price for accommodation in central city Denver. Has a view that overlooks the city from our room. Bit run down and condition is a bit dated, however we were happy with the breakfast (which included wedges and waffles!). True to what was advertised so bona fide. Gracias to the Budget Inn team.

Lights and sirens all night. Tweaker skipping rocks into the road from the bus stop in front of the hotel. Door to the room was obviously kicked in at some point. Not sealed to the outside. You could see daylight under the door and around the edges. I’d rate it 4 out of five knives on the stabby scale.

Good hotel, would stay again. Easy walk to downtown and Mile High stadium. Appreciate Hotels.com for coming through when original booking didn't work out. Only wish it didn't take over two weeks for the hold on my card to be removed.

exactly what i expected for the price; staff was easy to work with, it wasn't too noisy, the room was falling apart a little (trim falling off, shower curtain rod broken, chair stained and had stab marks) but it smelled fine, seemed clean, bedding was clean, and free breakfast. really not bad if you aren't planning on spending tons of time in the room while on vacation.

The staff was nice and helpful. The room was one of the worst I've stayed in. Dirty room, smelled bad, water would drip from the bathroom into the door area, hard to get up and down the stairs with no elevator. Breakfast was pretty good.

Without trying to sound like a comedian, this place is so bad you wouldn’t rent it for a one night stand. The room was dirty. Dirty walls. Dirty lampshade. I was afraid to walk on floor with no shoes. The desk lamp had built in outlets that barely accommodated a phone charger. The smell of the room. Omg. Kind of like sewage? No garbage can in room. No window to open to air it out. Beds were okay. The free breakfast was a total disappointment and I threw it out. The coffee was disgusting. The bread looked questionable. The room it was in also looked questionable. Positives were the location. About 30 ish minute walk to downtown and baseball stadium. We felt fairly safe, but made sure we parked car infront of hotel. The staff was fabulous. Friendly. Helpful. I’m just surprised how hotels stay in business with rooms like we had. It’s not a 5 star hotel so I didn’t expect a 5 star stay but I’d barely give it a 1. I wanted to leave the second we opened the door to our room. I was embarrassed and felt like a jerk renting it for my friend and I. We spent as little time as we possibly could in it. If I could get my money back I’d ask for it. Could I have asked for a different room? Sure. Was I worried about what room number 2 would be like? Absolutely.

What can I say? The worst travel experience is having a bed with bedbugs. Upon laying down for a quick nap after arriving late to the hotel. I woke up itching and scratching my arms and legs. I jumped up and turned on the lights and pulled back the covers to see two small dark bugs moving. I then took my right index finger to smash both bugs and smeared blood on the sheets. I then took a picture of the blood stains and I saw another bug moving and videoed it moving around the bed. I then go next door to the hotel lobby desk and encounter Ann. When I tell you the rudest incompetent person ever. I asked Ann if I could be placed into another room for I had bedbugs. Ann quickly replied "we don't have those." I informed her you do and I killed two and left two blood stains. Ann quickly told me there was nothing she could do for she was working alone and could not leave her post. I then asked if I could buy another room for the night unit management could take a look into my matter and Ann stated they had rooms available. Ann then stated that if I did not have proof management would charge me for the additional room. I then told Ann that I had a picture and video of the bugs and she told me to email it to her in order for her to move me to another room, in which the hotel was now sold out and if I did provide the proof there was nothing she could do for she was taking a reserved room. Shower was completely broken and soaked water across the bathroom. Shower rod was hanging down nearly falling out of the walls and a hair tie attached to keep the curtainclosed. While on the phone with the front desk a mouse ran across the floor and they promised to send someone up immediately. Two hours later i called again they said they would come up immediately. No one ever checked on the room and the next morning at checkout they did nothing. Prepaid room. No refund.
