The location is great the staff is super friendly and very accommodating. Allowed us to check in early when we were jet lagged and allowed late check out as well without any problems at all which is very rare these days. The facilities are in need of some upgrades but the fact that the place is old gives you the value if you want to save some bucks. Air-conditioning works great. It's a big plus in Athens summer heat

The hotel is a small hotel on the boundaries of Plaka and is very convenient. The lobby and bar area are nice and comfortable . The rooms are clean but a bit small. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. The only complaint is the tiny hot elevators that will give a claustrophobic nightmares. It is a fine hotel for the experience of exploring Plaka.

The shower head was floppy and didnt attach to the connecting piece. Sprayed all over the bathroom. The property could use an interior update but overall it was fine for a couple nights sleep.

We absolutely loved this place. The only reason they got a 4/5 for amenities was becasuse of the wifi connection in our room. Seriously, i would give it 4.8 because of everything else for amenities. We really appreciated the water stations on everyfloor so we could refill our water bottles. The staff were so helpful and nice, the breakfast was perfect and the selection never left me wanting for more, and the location was perfect. I cant say enough about the location. We were minutes away from the museum and Acropolis. Eating and shopping district....50 meters away. If you get the 5 day 6 sites pass you can walk from the hotel to everyone of them. If we ever return to Athens, or have friends that are planning to go, we will be recommending this hotel. It made our Athens stay so memorable.

Air Conditioning not working on arrival to room. Desk clerk even tho alone, was very nice and helpful. Turned out the unit was unplugged ,and once plugged in worked. Room, bathroom, elevator minuscule. Safe rusted, hallway carpet decrepit. Breakfast so-so. Wonderful staff however. All super nice and super helpful!

A toalha estava rasgada (parecia rasgo de muito uso, não porque aconteceu algum acidente), quando eu descobrei a toalha branca para usar tinha um fio de cabelo longo junto, depois de tomar banho surgiu uma água por debaixo do tapete perto da porta do banheiro. O piso imitava carpete, mas era uma fibra de plástico tão suja que era preguenta e fiquei de chinelo. Apesar disso os funcionários são muito gentis (saímos do hotel às 5h da manhã e conseguimos café da manhã antes do horário), a localização e a melhor do mundo e tem um bebedouro no corredor para encher a garrafa de água (achei sustentável)

The hotel is very close to attraction, the bathroom is clean. I think this hotel has potential to be a better hotel. The owner need to spend money renovating the hotel. Remove the smelly and ugly carpet. Put nicer decorations and also paint it. Remodel the elevator. Looks scary outside the hotel room. I saw fire extinguisher and fire detectors which is good but it needs upgraded furniture, painting, removal carpet and more lightings.

The beds were not the best. Housekeeping was terrible. Even after informing front desk regarding housekeeping no action was taken. (Garbage not picked from table, dirty cups not changed, beds not made).I have taken pictures to prove.

I was very disappointment about the condition of the room for the amount I was charged ($157 CAD). I was expecting at least the AC to work properly, considering the temperature in Athens, but that wasn’t the case. The bathroom was not clean, there was hair in the sink when I arrived, which should have been cleaned before. Overall, too pricy for the hotel condition.

Very clean, great people, tasty and diverse breakfast, and the air conditioning was very good. The towels were clean but falling apart. The elevator wasn’t working. There wasn’t a block out curtain over our sliding door to the balcony. Hallway carpet was ripped. So I call it tired, as in the facilities are over due for refurbishing.

Front desk service was outstanding. Our room had a view to die for but the bathroom had hair all over the floor. The second day of our stay the room was not serviced and it was necessary to ask the front desk for towels and toilet paper. The following day the room was serviced but staff failed to supply toilet paper. The breakfast was very good. The hotel needs a lot of updating.

The hotel is very old and outdated, needs urgent refurbishing. Carpet in the room with holes, one light in the bathroom didnt work. Towels with stains! One elevator was out of order. Staff is kind and efficient. Great location! Good breakfast

I was initially very pleased with the check-in process and helpfulness of the front desk personnel. However, the room is another story. As mentioned by other reviews, it was severely lacking. I can understand having a small room but there were other issues. There was one bath towel and one smaller towel by the sink for two of us. No bath mat for the floor and no tissues. We asked the front desk at 4 o’clock for more towels and was told we were out of luck because housekeeping had already left for the day. I was shocked to see the condition of the one bath towel. It was worn in several areas. There was one non-fitted sheet and one thin cover on the bed. The mattress was disgusting. The floor in the breakfast area was dirty. As others have suggested, the company needs to spend a good amount to fix up this hotel to better standards for the amount it charges. We paid $225 USD plus $20 tax per night. The one big factor it has going for it is the location, but I would rather have stayed further from the Parthenon and had better hotel accommodations. They have signs in the lobby that they have received excellent reviews, but this must’ve been from many years ago. Recommend trying to find another hotel until this one is upgraded.

I expected a queen size bed and got two twins pushed together with separate sheets! One bed was higher than the other and I couldn’t sleep next to my wife. The hallway carpeting was worn down with holes in front of some rooms. The only good thing was that it was near the Acropolis.

Loves its proximity to the Acropolis and other historic places. The WiFi was so bad I had so m any issues with it. I was unable to connect to my work from the room. I see that the WiFi was good in the lobby but it so bad and unusable in my room on the 5th floor.

We enjoyed our stay at Airotel Parthenon. The staff were very helpful with suggestions around the neighborhood. The location was perfectly located next to the Parthenon and Plaka, and easily within walking distance of other attractions. The room was slightly outdated, but the location, cleanliness, and staff made up for any lack of updated amenities.

I was very impressed with the service from this hotel! They contacted me a couple of times before arrival to see if we needed transportation set up. Also asked when we would arrive. We arrived at 11 am and they had our room ready! Very much appreciated after a long flight from the US. They also had a good breakfast and very helpful and friendly staff.

The front desk men were so friendly and helpful. One helped us get a taxi when the internet was down in the city and no one could be contacted. Another went out of his way to get us an item we had left in our room. Loved the location. Right by Plaka and could walk everywhere. Great buffet breakfast. Was a great place to get over jet lag before starting a tour.

Airotel Parthenon at Athen is 5 min walk to the Parthenon, shopping streets, and restaurants. Very convenient location . We walk to most places. We didn't even need to take the train. The daytime staff is very helpful. The hotel room is average, but the location is unbeatable.

Excellent Location. We were able to check in early. One block away from acropolis station and two blocks away from acropolis and acropolis museum. In general restaurants are all over. We didn’t use the metro and walked to all historic Athens. 360 cocktail had a nice view ( rooftop) and great drinks and service which is about 15 minutes walk from hotel. Laundromat was about 5 minutes walk or 4-5 blocks ( need coins for machine) 8 euro to wash and 2 euro to dry. Which I did while having a drink next door. Make sure you have good shoes or sneakers ground with marble floor could be slippery. There is a small market and supermarket down the street (supermarket is cheaper) small one opens later till 1100 pm.

Perfectly located hotel in the Plaka! We were able to walk nearly everywhere and the Metro station was just around the corner. Breakfast each morning was very good with lots of variety. The hotel felt very safe for me traveling with just my teenage son, and the staff was amazingly kind and helpful anytime we had a question about the area. I would definitely stay here again!

The Hotel was an outstanding location. All of the staff could not have been any more accommodating and friendly. The rooms are in need of updating, along with new bath towels. The breakfast was plentiful and a wide variety of choices however the food should have been served at a higher temperature. Overall the stay was wonderful and we would visit again.

We recently stayed at this hotel in Athens for a couple of nights, and the experience was very positive overall. The absolute highlight of the hotel is its amazing location — it couldn’t be more convenient for exploring the city’s main attractions. The hotel is just steps away from the Acropolis Museum and a short walk to the iconic Parthenon. Additionally, the subway station is very close by, even though we never need to take it. If you’re arriving from the airport, it’s also worth noting that the hotel is only about a 15-minute walk from the Syntagma square, where the X95 bus stops. Another standout feature of our stay was the breakfast. The hotel offers a really nice breakfast spread — fresh, delicious, and with plenty of options to start your day off right. It was definitely one of the best parts of the stay. Overall, if you’re visiting Athens and looking for a hotel that offers convenience and a great breakfast, this is a fantastic choice. We’d stay here again for the location alone, but the breakfast is a great bonus!
