Stayed for the Athens Marathon - really great 'early' breakfast put on for marathon runners, and a spectacular setting. Great location, and concierge was excellent. Thoroughly recommended. Only small comment would be the rooftop pool is super-cold, which in the summer would be ideal, but in November wasn't quite as inviting as it looked! But that's not a criticism, more for awareness for other off-season visitors!

Nice hotel, good location, nice view and breakfast. However, we were very disappointed that the pool was not warm at all. We chose this hotel specifically because we planned to relax in a warm pool and jacuzzi at the end of each day but we could not enjoy it at all because it was cold..

I’m not giving this property 5 stars because it was not very luxurious. That said it was a solid, nice hotel that is in a good location. I would go back there. Pros- Roof has a great view of the acropolis Bookings seem to all include breakfast Indoor and outdoor pool Spa services- massage was very good there Rooms were clean, prompt housekeeping Firm mattresses Very central location great for walking Quiet Robes and slippers in room Guest relations female manager was super nice Rooms have bathtubs Cons- Beds could have use a better / heavier duvet Outdoor roof pool needs to have some tiles cleaned well on the sides Breakfast foods were not great, nothing super tasty or well prepared Rooftop cocktails very expensive compared to other bars in area Indoor pool and jacuzzi were cold Steam room out of service I booked a room thru hotels.com that was pay at property- hotel would not honor that and charged my credit card full amount a week before (I called and proper wouldn’t adjust) Rooftop dinner menu boring, basic and super overpriced Food at hotel had little to no vegetarian options TV was not a smart TV and only English channels were two news ones Some of the furniture seemed old/dated But overpriced overall Overall solid 4 out of 5 stars

This location is in the middle of it all! Super-safe area. Walk to restaurants, shopping, attractions, everything. Staff was courteous, helpful and kind. Staff speak both Greek and English and likely other languages. The gym was really lovely, small but with a wide variety of free weights and cardio equipment. The outdoor pool, while a little crowded during the day, was cool and clean. My 10 year old son and I even reserved a couple of hours in the indoor pool (included with our stay and based upon availability) and had the pool all to ourselves. There is also a lovely sauna and steamroom for adults to use. The breakfast buffet was the best I experienced in Greece, and I have visited several times over the years. The bedding was extraordinary as well. Similar to the Westin' 'Heavenly Bed' if not better. Rooms are quiet despite the lively area the hotel is in. We could not have asked for a better hotel in Athens.

Great location for touring Athens, close to Acropolis and Olympic stadium. We had a lovely view of the acropolis from our room. Pool area was small but nice.

The hotel is worth it for the breakfast alone. The food is great and the rooftop view of the Acropolis is perfect. Location is great, very central, and very clean as expected. Rooftop pool is also great to relax after a long day walking around the city. They also have a good spa.

Thank you for an excellent stay - perfect location, v convenient for all major attractions. Great breakfast w stunning views of the Acropolis. Very clean rooms w a v high standard of housekeeping- loved the little touches like cleaning twice , chocolates on the bed! Fantastic attentive staff- Hope to return to Athens and will def be staying here again if so.

Truly walkable to all major sites and the stunning Plaka area is steps away. The hotel is spotless, room is beautiful, and the staff is both professional and warm. Breakfast is the most lavish buffet ever.

Hotel is lovely. Room smelled of drains but staff were very quick to switch me and no issues in the new room. I’d say rooms are a little tired and you’re paying for the view from the roof resturant/bar. I’d say worth the money for that though. Phenomenal view. Great breakfast buffet and had a very enjoyable dinner in there also. Overall a great hotel

Excellent stay! Everything was top notch. Breakfast buffet was one of the best we have ever had. Staff is friendly and very helpful. We had housekeeping staff check in with us every night to ask if we needed anything, giving extra waters and a good night chocolate. Property is very clean and rooms were very quiet. They arranged transportation for us to the airport and our driver was one of the friendliest people we encountered. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Athens, the beautiful views add to the enjoyment.

This hotel was simply fabulous. The check in was fast, the room spotless and so well equipped ( coffee machine, toweling robes,etc all the way to small accessories) Breakfast was outstanding and the view simply majestic. The spa, the therapist and the treatments were great too. The staff were attentive, friendly and efficient. We will definitely return next time we are in Athens.

Beautiful modern hotel with wonderful staff and high level of service and comfort. Rooms and beds and bathrooms modern and clean and had everything you need. Location of the hotel was in a wonderful area of town walkable to all attractions and lots Of dining and shopping. We booked two rooms and the second room had three beds which was convenient for our three kids and rare to find.

Room 502 window facing alley was noisy at night. Need better soundproofing. Rooms good but could use some updating. Concierge service excellent with restaurant recommendations. Rooftop view during buffet breakfast is fantastic but food needs improvement. Location is excellent for shopping, restaurants and only 20 min walk to Acropolis.

Staff took our bags before we were even out of the taxi. They let us store them even though were hours early and got us into our room early too. Very friendly and efficient service. Room was very quiet considering how close it is to bars and eateries outside - you can barely hear a thing. It’s in a great location for eating out and walking to sights like the Acropolis Museum.

Our room was not value for money. It faced onto a derelict building on the main street and very late at night we could hear the sounds of crowds of people despite our balcony door being screwed shut, so that we could not open it during the day. The room was dark and the furnishings a bit old. The bathroom wasn't as big as it looked on the website and the quality of the paper tissues was very bad. I'm sure that there were other rooms in the hotel that were very nice but ours (Room 303) wasn't and was not worthy of a 5 star hotel. On the plus side the towels in the bathroom were clean, thick and plush and our evening meal in the rooftop restaurant was excellent (the breakfast there was just ok). Most of the staff were also excellent and there are great views from the rooftop.

A great locaiton but to be honest I felt it was over-priced; the room was small and the hotel was just lacking character and felt quite soulless. The breakfast room was rammed and when we decided to sit on the balcony for some fresh air and good views, the other tables were all smoking - come on guys, make your hotel completely smoke-free, it is 2025!

I enjoyed my stay and would definitely return. The breakfasts were very good, the staff friendly, and the location is very convenient. The only complaint ( very minor ) would be that the street noise is very noticeable. But we had a very nice experience there.

The fitness center is not even close to acceptable for a 5 star property The rooftop restaurant food was average, much better food within a stones throw of the property, views are spectacular, hostess staff were generally rude and snobby. Cleaning staff entered our children’s room at 8am and startled them on day of checkout to start cleaning to shuffle us out of there. Not the experience or value for what we paid.

When we booked, we were not really sure. We actually had some difficulty communicating with them through Expedia but once we got there, their service was phenomenal. Their host ELutheria and Alex were awesome and accommodating on first night for dinner when we did not have reservations, and despite the fact that we didn’t have a reservation, their service was beyond excellent.. I reciprocated in kind for their service.. their breakfast was excellent and proximity to everything was awesome.. overall great experience.. there were other servers and managers who I don’t know the name of but they also carried the service out well. Overall if Elutheria did not accommodate us for dinner we may have shortened our stay..

Wonderful Stay in Central Athens! Electra Metropolis Athens exceeded all expectations. The location is perfect—just steps from Syntagma Square and within walking distance to major sights like the Acropolis. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, and the rooftop restaurant offers stunning views and a fantastic breakfast. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Electra Metropolis’s location is amazing. Right in the heart of Athens and walking distance to all relevant sights, dinning and shopping. Their staff is excellent. Super efficient in addressing our needs. We also dined at their rooftop restaurant - views, service and food were excellent. We also dined at rooftop at Grande Bretagne, and Electra’s views of the Acropolis, service and fresh catch of the day were far better than GB Roof garden. Highly recommend staying here and experiencing best of Athens.

The hotel is well located, close to transport as well as the Parthenon and other historical sites. It is well equipped and the staff were helpful. Everything worked and the room was comfortable and clean. The only downside was the poor quality breakfast - the food was cold and dry and the coffee was horrible. Breakfast was included in the booking but we only had it once in our 4 night stay

Loved being in the heart of Athens, walkable to all our pick ups as well as cultural destinations. The food and service on the 10th floor pool/bar/restaurant garden rooftop was surpassed only by the always spectacular view of the Acropolis. Definitely would recommend.

We stayed 3 nights. The location is great in the middle of city center. The bellmen service is top notch,. When we arrived they greated us at our taxi, delivered our bags and one staff member in particular, I think Vagelis, was extremely helpful when we need to store our bags and got us a taxi to leave. Room was nice, housekeeping was excellent. The breakfast was very good as well. I'm leaving a 4 star because the pool was a major reason we booked but the pool is extremely small and there's no staff to keep order. Parents were letting their kids splash and throwing pool toys making it unpleasant for adults. The pool is too small to accommodate that. Side note the restaurant is way over priced, you are paying for the views but there are much better views elsewhere in the city.
