Elia Ermou Athens Hotel

The king bed was very comfortable - for those that travel in Europe frequently from USA this is exceptional. Roof top breakfast buffet was beyond expectations- with view of Acropolis and amazing fresh selections. Roof top jacuzzi did not disappoint either - a little tricky to find but was a beautiful retreat

Beautiful hotel. Great food and service. Close to all the restaurants, shops and sites. Everything was clean and the spa, gym and amenities were wonderful.

The rooftop bar and restaurant was a great place for breakfast and for drinks. The spa service was great for a massage.

The staff provided us with towels for the jacuzzi. We went To the rooftop, private use for one hour! Just breath taking, with a spectacular view of the Parthenon.

I stayed at this property twice - both rooms were well appointed. The shower being in a separate room is fantastic. My first room was with a view which was great and worth the upcharge. My second room I opted not to have a view, and it was fine as well. Both rooms were clean, comfortable bed, and quiet. It's a great location, easy to walk to the points of interest. The gym facility is average but am glad it was there. Takes about 5 minutes to get the bike started just to let me specify a level and get on with it. The reception area is a bit cramped so when it's busy it's a bit chaotic. There is also no ramp for getting to the elevator so going from reception to the elevator (up three steps) seems like something that could be easily addressed with a remodel. These steps are also near where people queue for checkout and are seated waiting for their taxi.

A great hotel with stunning view and a central location. Good, clear rooms. Breakfast area a bit packed, and central location may mean more noise. Overall, highly recommended.

Wow. I loved this place. Clean, tremendous staff and a very nice restaurant with a view to kill for. Service was outstanding throughout but especially so in the restaurant. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Convenient walking to major sights and a nice stroll through the neighborhood. Wife gave a thumbs up to the spa

Excellent hotel right in the heart of Athens! From the valets, front desk and all team members, the experience was fantastic! Breakfast Buffet (lots to offer) on the enclosed roof top with stunning views of the Acropolis was a delightful touch. I had a rented vehicle and having parking underground was very convenient and also kept the car cool in the hot summer days. My friends also loved the different cold “juice” beverage by the front desk –just had to mention how lovely it was coming back in the lte afternoon from the heat. Would definitely stay at Elia Ermou again :)

I found bed bugs in the bed. I had to move to a different room in the middle of the night and couldn't sleep all night because of fear of bed bugs bites. The room wasn't clean and the rooms are not well-maintained at all. the street outside is very noisy and I could hear the loud music from the rooftop across the street until very late at night.

The hotel is in a great location—right on a main street near shops, restaurants, Plaka, the Parthenon, etc. The staff were friendly, and the room was a decent size. The views from the rooftop were lovely. That said, the stay fell short in several ways. Cleanliness could have been better, with some dirt on the walls and floors that hadn’t been properly cleaned. The bathroom had no hooks for robes or towels, and the area was quite noisy. I was there for a birthday and had informed the hotel in advance and at check-in, but there was no acknowledgment—no note, call, or gesture. It's a small detail, but it felt like a missed opportunity to add a personal touch. The view from the room was of an abandoned-looking building—not ideal, though not something the hotel can control. Overall, while the location and staff were positives, the lack of attention to detail means I wouldn’t stay here again.

The property location is premium to access all excursion or sightseeing adventures. Room was clean but we did encounter a few roaches that mt husband eliminated. That made me uncomfortable to say the least. Staff was super helpful with everything. We only had breakfast twice and it was fresh and tasty. Dinner on the rooftop was nice also but I felt the food was overpriced compared to surrounding restaurants but the view was remarkable which I would guess is why the prices were higher than other restaurants

When I first checked in, the gentleman at the front desk was not welcoming — very stern, no smile, and lacked hospitality. Thankfully, after that, everyone else I encountered during my stay was super nice and helpful. The room itself was okay, but the bathroom was disappointing — there was a pee stain on the floor, which should never happen. On the positive side, the location is excellent, and the rooftop is amazing with a great view

This hotel is a gem. Very convenient and there are lots of shopping and restaurants within 5 minutes. Bed is comfortable and the room is clean The streets in the area are busy but the double sliding doors keep the room quiet.

We had the Deluxe suite and it was s beautiful room with an amazing view of the Acropolis. We received champagne in our room upon arrival. The steam shower was great. Very comfortable room. Only complaint was noise grom the above breakfast terrace during their set up in the morning. Not the friendliest staff at the breakfast, but front desk staff were great. Great location, right in the mix of it all.

The breakfast and rooftop view is absolutely wonderful. Access to the hotel is extremely easy and convenient. I didn’t care for the layout of the room because the bathroom is very exposed and feels like it is in the middle of the bedroom.

Great hotel - we had a very spacious balcony room. I can’t give it 5 stars because the tv lacks apps and chromecast, even though it claims to have it. Just a bit weird in 2024. With that addressed, it’s a 5 star experience.

Great location on Ermou Street! Hotel room was conveniently located close to Syntagma Square and we were able to travel directly from airport to the square by train. It was only a couple blocks walk to the hotel. The hotel staff were friendly and our room had a wonderful view of the Acropolis and Parthenon. Our room was clean and beds comfortable. There is a wonderful breakfast upstairs in the mornings, and the restaurant and lounge upstairs also had a beautiful view of the Acropolis. We really loved our stay and hope to return again!

Localização interessante, literalmente no meio de bares e restaurantes com muito movimento à noite. Fomos caminhando a todos os pontos turísticos (Acrópole, Museu da Acrópole, Ágora antiga). Opções de restaurante em Plaka. O quarto era especial para duas pessoas, mas pequeno para três. Não gostei de um detalhe: o banheiro não tem uma porta. A bancada com pia e torneira fica atrás de uma parede, e da cama se vê o chuveiro. Não gostei nada disso. Hóspedes muito barulhentos, gritando no corredor dw noite após 10:30 pm.

We stayed 3 night before and after a Greek island cruise. The hotel is in the middle of everything and sides a pedestrian street, Ermou. We had a balcony room with an Acropolis view. The breakfast room also has a Acropolis view. We had our anniversary dinner in its 7th floor restaurant one night and drinks on the restaurant balcony another night. Again with a lit up Acropolis view. Will definitely stay there again with its large room and huge walk in shower.

surrounding area are nosing, my room I can hear neighborhood restaurants loud noise until 2:00 am, REALLY BAD experience

Un hôtel central mais dont la chambre offre peu d’espace et est mal agencée (toilette trop grande et peu de rangement). Lumière dans la chambre sans possibilité d’occultation. Néanmoins vue sur l’acropole non négligeable.

The service was amazing and staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They gave great dinner recommendations as well as tour information! Dinner at the rooftop restaurant was fantastic and the manger made sure that we had a great experience as well as letting us hang out later to watch a soccer match on TV! Yummy cocktails too!

Elia Ermou is a wonderful hotel in the heart of Athens. The rooms are clean, spacious with all the comforts. The breakfast is 5 star and the staff is fantastic. They arranged for an excursion, ride to the airport and great restaurant recommendation. The rooftop view of the Acropolis is spectacular and the food at the restaurant was great. Anna and the rest of the staff went out of their way to welcome us and to make sure we had everything we needed. George (Captain) at the rooftop restaurant was next level in customer service. We have already recommended this hotel to our friends that will be visiting Athens soon. Thank you Elia Ermou for making our first trip to Athens comfortable and memorable.

I recently stayed at Elia Ermou Hotel and had a mostly wonderful experience. The hotel itself is clean, stylish, and well-located. Check-in and check-out were smooth and pleasant, thanks to the professional and welcoming reception staff. The bell boys were also fantastic, always polite, attentive, and helpful with luggage and directions. Most of the staff were welcoming and helpful, especially housekeeping and some of the restaurant administrators. However, I did have a negative experience with one of the concierges, I believe her name was Zoe. She was short, with very long black curly hair, and unfortunately came across as aggressive and unprofessional, which was disappointing given the otherwise high standard of service. I also want to mention an issue with the one of the hostess at the restaurant. While some of the restaurant staff especially the hostess were great, the one particular hostess was rather blunt and unwelcoming. This made the dining experience less enjoyable than expected. Despite these issues, I still think the hotel offers great value, it felt warm, welcoming, and generous, unlike some other places that often come across as overly commercial or greedy. The atmosphere was relaxed yet elegant, and you truly get the sense that the hotel and most of the team works hard to provide a positive guest experience. With better consistency in staff training, especially for guest-facing roles, the hotel could easily reach a five-star level of service!

Elia Ermou Very nice hotel very well situated don’t read too much about whether to stay in syntagma psyri or monesteraki : they are 5 minutes walk from each other. The staff is simply superb from the reception to the bellhops to the maintenance people. Breakfast is excellent and the view of the Acropolis from the 7th floor is simply incredible. Here are some suggestions to and make your stay as pleasant as possible 1. At least junior suite have a free access to the minibar: hard and soft drinks nuts. You don’t get to know that until you are settled in! 2. All rooms have double windows that truly muffle the sound but some revelers stay quite late and do not care: bring earplugs if you happen to get a lower floor room on the side of the many pubs. 3. All toilets in Greece do not allow you to throw any paper in toilet. The saving grace is that toilets at Elia (not necessarily at other hotels) have a wall-mounted hose-like bidet contraption to clean yourself. 4. The shower faces the toilet room and has nothing to hang your change of clothes on which means you must step out naked to dry and wear clothes: this could be inconvenient for some. It is so simple to remedy so I hope the hotel takes note 5. All electric outlets require the deep type of European plugs. Regular ones will not allow you to plug your devices. See photo. 6. Altogether a lovely hotel that is highly recommended.

There was a line to check-in, the staff was not very pleasant. However some staff was more helpful than others.

Es un hotel en medio de la calle Ermou una calle llena de tiendas restaurantes y todo muy bonito y seguro el desayuno esta en el 7 piso así que tiene una vista muy hermosa de la acrópolis y de la ciudad de Athena’s , y muuuy cerca caminando de la plaza sintagma sin duda me volvería a hospedar ahí

Clean hotel in the city center. There are nany eateries nearby. If taking the bus to the airport, it is super convenient as it it only a 5 minute walk. Only bad thing was that it can get very noisy at night making it hard to sleep.

Views of Acropolis from our room and the roof top restaurant were AMAZING. Staff were very welcoming. Location is fantastic. Included breakfast was very good but dinner at the restaurant was just ok.
