Excellent hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms, and truly heartfelt service from all the staff. You can really feel that guests matter here. From the breakfast area and the rooftop bar, there’s a stunning view of the Acropolis. On Friday night we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the bar, accompanied by a singer and two acrobatic dancers - a perfect experience. The hotel also offers an outdoor pool and an indoor pool at the spa, which includes various treatments. Both pools are not deep, with a maximum depth of 85 cm. The location is perfect - right in the center near Ermou Street and within walking distance to all the main attractions of central Athens.

NYX Esperia Palace in Athens proved to be a wonderful choice for our first holiday with our 4-month-old daughter. Its central location made exploring the city easy, while the hotel itself felt both stylish and welcoming. The staff were incredibly kind and thoughtful, showing genuine care toward our baby, which really put us at ease as new parents. Family-friendly touches like baby cots and a children’s menu made a big difference. While the rooftop pool was a highlight, it's worth noting that sunbeds must be booked in advance and the pool area itself is not as spacious as the photos suggest. There is also a minimum spend of €25 per person—something to keep in mind as it can add up over time. We planned to use the pool most of the time before when we booked our holiday, but ended up using it twice given the availability of sunbeds and costs each time to use it. Overall, it was a memorable, and well-located stay and I would still recommend it to anyone visiting Athens.

Vi hadde et veldig fint opphold. Hotellet lå nærmere sentrum enn forventet og de ansatte var behjelpelige med å bistå oss med å finne frem. Små rom, men praktiske. Rent og veldig stilig. Vi testet spaet og hadde en god opplevelse. Nydelig utsikt ved frokosten. Deilig med rooftop med basseng og solsenger. Husk å booke i god tid. Blir fort fullt.

We spent four nights at this truly fantastic hotel. The staff, facilities, and rooms are superb! The hotel is a five-minute walk from Syntagma Square (Metro M3 to the airport costs €9). The spa area with an indoor pool, jacuzzi, and sauna is relatively small, but usable. The breakfast room on the 9th floor with a rooftop terrace is lovely and spacious; the breakfast buffet varied slightly each day and was always delicious. We would definitely stay at the NYX Xperia Palace Hotel again next time.

A very nice hotel in a good location close to the centre and a 20 minute walk to the Acropolis. The room was comfortable and modern although no view. Breakfast was good lots of choice although it can be busy and difficult to navigate the buffet. The roof top pool area is very nice but there is limited space and beds have to be pre reserved. Overall the staff were very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our 3 night stay.

Some hotel staff were great, some not so much. The room had a mildew smell and no microwave. Nice amenities for bathroom toiletries. Good if you need an adjoining room. Breakfast area is nice with good selection. I would stay again but only for 1 night could never stay more 1 night with the mildew smell

The NYX Esperia Palace is a ver good hotel. It's ideally situated, it's clean and the roo.s are great. The staff were, without exception, excellent. My only niggles are that the mattress on the bed was too soft, as were the pillows.

Very nice rooms and convenient to all major attractions. I wish I had known how nice their rooftop restaurant was, as we had already booked elsewhere. Very trendy vibe, energetic music. Great contemporary menu and super view. Also great drinks. Would highly recommend. A/C was a little glitchy, but not all that unusual in European hotels.

A nice hotel in a good location and friendly staff, I especially like the indoor pool and Sauna. However, I wasn't happy with the bathroom setup as there isn't much privacy due to their being no door to the bathroom. There is just a small door for the toilet but you could hear 'everything'.

Staff were great, very friendly and accommodating. My wife and had the pleasure of staying 4 nights. 3 nights in a room facing the courtyard and 1 night facing the street. Both rooms were nice and clean. The room facing the court yard was quieter (which was great)and I found the bathroom smaller. Only one of us could wash up at a time. The one facing the street was great but alot more noisy, we were on the 6th floor and we could here the hustle and bustle of the streets. Location was good, most thhings are within walking distance.

Nicely refurbished hotel with a great vibe. Super noisy during the night in our suite on 9th floor. Had a hard time sleeping due to poor soundproofing. The hotel was without water for 1/2 day. Nice staff. Great breakfast buffet and business lounge. Small but well equiped spa.

The location and view of the Acropolis from our room and the rooftop was amazing. I am giving it 4 stars because the air automatically clicks off in your room if there is no movement?? When I am sleeping there is no movement so we woke up hot. I booked 5 rooms for 10 guests. I called downstairs and they over road my system. I asked if they could override the system for my other 4 rooms however, that was not done so they were uncomfortable in their rooms. This should be addressed immediately and never happen in a hotel. There was a key you would leave for power in your room while you were in it it but their system overrode it while in your room.

Nice room with partly view over Akropolis. Positive that we had access to the executive lounge both when checking in (before the room was available) and checking out (before going to the airport). Negative that the bathroom wasn’t well designed. After having a shower the water didn’t stay in the shower area, it came out to the area with the sink making the floor all wet. We wasn’t aware when we booked that it was a hotel with a lot of noise (music), however not noise in our room.

We wanted a long weekend in Athens and booked NYX Esperia Palace Hotel, and we do not regret it. It was a great experience. The hotel room was very nice, and the restaurant on the top floor had a direct view of the Acropolis and Parthenon, which was fantastic scenery. The very friendly and helpful staff and the hostesses at the business lounge went out of their way to make us feel appreciated, sharing information about Athens, the attractions, and Greece in general. Thank you, Ilia, and your wonderful colleagues! Before checking out, I realized I had misplaced my sunglasses. Not only were they helpful in trying to locate them before we left, but they found them after we had departed, and with their excellent lost and found service, the glasses are now back in my possession. All in all, it was a great stay. We highly recommend NYX

Onvriendelijk personeel, obers tijdens ontbijt werkten tegen hun zin. Er kon geen vriendelijk woord af. Aan de receptie waren er sommigen zeer vriendelijk, voor anderen was het te veel om te helpen. Het personeel in het restaurant Panther Bistro spande de kroon : geen vriendelijk woord, gaf met tegenzin de menukaart en alles was teveel. Geen wonder dat er bijna nooit iemand zat.

This was without doubt the noisiest and least relaxing hotel I have ever stayed in. There was constant, very loud pulsing club music throughout the entire property — in the lobby, corridors, lifts, and even around the rooftop pool during the daytime. In the evening, the restaurant turned into a nightclub where the volume was so extreme that it was impossible to hear the person sitting next to you. The staff were generally rude and inattentive, showing little interest in guests’ comfort or experience. What should have been a calm, enjoyable stay in central Athens turned into a completely exhausting one. Whilst the manager offered a 15 minute massage and a change of room this did not counteract a very expensive and horrible experience. The only redeeming feature was the spa area, which was modern, clean, and provided a rare sense of peace amid the chaos elsewhere in the hotel. Security followed my husband to the restroom assuming that my husband would skip out on the bill. However we were staying as a guest in the hotel with an open credit on file. He was absolutely out of line. Additionally we missed the breakfast time by 4 minutes and the hostess refused us to go in even for a cup of coffee. No courtesy whatsoever. So I will blog my review. We booked this hotel after doing some research and it was nothing short of superb. The amenities were top notch, but the service stole the show. Our flight home was cancelled during our stay and while we were very stressed, the staff made sure we were taken care of and treated us so kindly. We were upgraded rooms complimentary, received a mid-stay courtesy call to ensure our staff was enjoyable, and were given incredibly insightful recommendations in the city. You have to make reservations to use the pools/spa, but it’s free (can do it via WhatsApp or with the staff at the counters). It helps manage the capacity, which honestly was great so that nothing felt overwhelming and we could get chairs. The buffet breakfast was genuinely one of the best I’ve had - great mix of classic staples and Greek cuisine. The views were astounding. Great location as it’s walkable (~10-15 minutes) to practically everything. Nice to be out of the hustle and bustle of some of the tourist areas. Funky interior and really cool design choices. The rooms are modern with digital gauges and it was pristine. The little details like a shoe sponge and pillow selection are thoughtful touches so you can stay how you prefer. If you can’t tell by the length of this review, I highly recommend this place and if I’m back in Athens, I would stay here again.

This experience was very disappointing, rude staff from moment of check in, to staff on roof top bar/restaurant ( sitting there for 15/20 minutes before anyone acknowledges you, on multiple occasions) Hotel was very busy everything was very unorganised. This hotel needs to learn a thing or two about customer service. When we arrived (after a 10 hour flight), the rooms weren't ready so we headed up to the lounge for a drink and something to eat. We sat at a table for 30 minutes without a single waiter coming to see if we needed anything. I had to go inside and chase down a waiter to ask for service, and it still took him 15 more minutes to come to the table. The rooms that we were given were not the type that I ordered and we had to argue with the front desk to get the right accommodations. The facility itself is very nice but without a professional staff, it is way overpriced and would not stay there again.

The only reason I’m not giving a 5 star review is because I chose this hotel based on proximity to the Acropolis. Turns out it’s not a 10 min walk but more a 20-25. Took about 12 min to get there with a taxi. Otherwise l highly recommended we had a wonderful stay and would definitively choose this hotel again.

Had an amazing time at this hotel. Staff were all friendly and welcoming. This was the best hotel stay I had in my 4 week trip to Europe (and it was kind of a surprise). Wasn’t expecting too much from the hotel when I booked it but it looked nice enough and in my price range. Everything was absolutely perfect in the hotel. The rooms were nice quality, the staff was professional and so kinda and accommodating, and the FOOD! The food in the hotel was some of the best I’ve had on my whole trip! Not to mention the view from the pool!
